made cheaply, took 2 hours to put together

If i could i would send it back, guide markk not lined up,cam locks same way.

This is a sturdy, attractive product at a great price. Because there are so many parts, it does take a lot of patience putting it together (and time - 4 hours). But the instructions are clear and the work is simple. Warning: you'll need a power screwdriver - there are a lot of screws.

Nice color & drawer mechanisms. Obvious fake finish. Also, 1 of the fake metal (plastic) drawer handles broke already

This item is really sturdy, very modern look

Very difficult to build but overall a sturdy decent chest. I suggest making sure you follow each step carefully to ensure your drawer front doesn’t fall out because that happened to me and I had to redo a few drawers. Also , they forgot to send me one screw but I had some wood glue and managed to finish

Not put together and the store does not have anyone to assembly

This bureau is the most difficult item we've ever assembled. Terrible and confusing directions. And after assembly it was unstable and really required the attached wall support. Ikea assembly is child's play by comparison.

Drawers broke on the second day. Not worth the money at all. Very cheap quality.

no instructions and not good quality at all

I misplaced the directions. I went to Home Depot and got pages of directions. Only after spending days connecting the parts with the illustrations I came to the conclusion that this is ALL wrong Today I came across the directions that I had misplaced and realized the replacement instructions were obsolete. Even the telephone number to contact Hodedah was wrong. I am relieved but sorry that I purchased it Now I have to go back to the beginning and sort out all the pieces or send it back. One thing that both directions point out is that nails are needed. There are no nails in this kit

Difficult to put together, but a quality dresser for the price!

Easy to assemble. It does required more than 1 person to assemble the dresser but overall it's fairly easy put together.

What good is a review without telling the reader that this is a nice dresser for any room. It is well made and we liked the color (red) as it fit with our other furniture pieces. When put together, the drawers fit nicely and open easily with a built in stop in the runners. The drawers are wide and deep and provide a lot of storage space and also have a center support bracket which can hold a moderate weight of items. My wife is pleased with the size of the drawers and the amount of items she can put in each. So on the good and plus side, the dresser fits her needs and looks nice in her bedroom. Now for my side, this is one heck of a project. This is not a moderate item to put together. Not complaining about the instructions as they are about as complete as you can get. Nor is there a complaint about the number of pieces that are required to put it together. All the pieces, every screw, every bolt and even stickers to put over screws arrived in a large box, and was well packed. And it's true all the tools you'll need is a phillips head screwdriver and a hammer (preferably a light or rubber one.)A pair of scissors will come in handy, too! But if you have never put together furniture, this is not a project to start out on. Although not overly complicated it requires some basic knowledge of how to put together items in order and a little knowledge on tips on how this is done is certainly required on this put together. On the Put Together Complication meter I'd give this one an 8. Once it's together and set up and you start putting items in it, you'll look back on this one as a challenge you accepted and completed and be proud of your accomplishment. If I did it (at my age 79) you can do it too!
