Design & Size: Is just perfect for my kitchen Finish: Good Materials: Not recommended specifically the light and very soft solid wood edging-it breaks easily. Most materials are particle boards. What I only like is the countertop-it’s made of solid wood. Hardwares: Good- but some corners needed to be drilled or nailed to tighten up the gaps between the panels ( no dowels in the corner). Stools: Good quality. There are a lot of discrepancies especially when locking up hardwares some are loose and they keep on dropping off while I’m working on it. It’s actually simple and the instructions are clear but it’s not easy to assemble because of the discrepancies.

The island is very well built and sturdy though one of the chairs had the holes drilled opposite than they should have but was easy to remedy we are pleased with it. We have had it 6 weeks and it has meet all expectations

I love my island. It was very easy to assemble. It has a lot of space for storage.

Ordered this island set based on the pictures and just received. The chair seat base does not match the table top at all. Picture is deceiving!

After receiving this in pieces and I had to have someone put it together because I tried to do it and I couldn’t do it with a handicap and all they put it together you can’t move it because if you move it then it comes apart was not very happy with it still not happy with it

Very nice ! Not too dificult to put together. It's also very sturdy, has plenty of room for storage.

Took a lot of assembly. Looks good. Chairstools are steardy.

I love the kitchen island with seating!! It fits nicely in my space. The only critique I have is one of the magnetic doors on the side doesn't pop open when pushed. I have to grab the edge to pull it open. Maybe a door handle there would be optimum.

Excellent quality. Heavy wood piece that looks fantastic! The chairs are heavy & solid. Assembly was great, all pieces were included, with a few extras in the hardware. It’s so functional! We now have an extra island with seating, (could add 3rd barstool) ,cabinet & drawer space.

Nice, solid piece of furniture. I can't figure out how to get the side doors to open properly as they stick to the magnets. Also, I understand that there is no warranty as I looked for the registration card.

i have a defective chair and HomeDepot do not respond for defective im going tom return the item

the island was easy to assemble having casework know how. It fits fine in our small kitchen.

Purchased this island with some concern after reading reviews... Found it to be a good value and fit well in my kitchen space in small condo. I did hire a handyman to assemble which worked well... The product is sturdy, was shipped in four boxes, and contained all parts required... I recommend this island...

I fully agree with the first review, to add my experience with it: 1. There was nothing constant with the assembling of the parts, example the locking bolts, some were easy to screw in, others took a great effort. 2. The product came out of the box dented, scratched and cracked. 3. There are huge separations / gaps where there was inter-facings 4. The drawers did not assemble as the pretty pictures that influenced my decisions 5. The instructions / illustrations were very lacking 6. Oh, the work/prep tier's height is TOO LOW for anyone over 5'8". My recommendation, DO NOT BUY A KITCHEN ISLAND ONLINE, one that requires home assembly. Save your money, design your own and HAVE IT BUILT!!!!!! You can pick out some very nice cabinet units to secure per your design and have a nice top (sile stone, granite , marble) installed on it.

This product was shipped in 4 large, heavy boxes: 2 for the island and 2 for the stools. In assembling the stools, the parts don't line up accurately, and the wood screws refused to drill all the way in, leaving the stretcher parts (where you would rest your feet) loose and able to spin. We unloaded the 2 boxes for the island and laid out all the parts, only to find we are missing one piece and cannot complete it. I called customer service who said it'll be 1-2 weeks before it can even be shipped out! There are parts all over the kitchen floor.. the amount of $$$ I paid is way too much for all this hassle. I would NOT recommend this item at all!
