This product made for a very easy solution to an outside corner. I used it because I wasn't sure I could cut my moulding pieces so they would fit together nicely to make a good-looking corner. The corner piece solved the problem and it looks nice.

I wish the product came in 7 1/2 height. Good product though.

...but overall good product. I painted mine all white to match trim and used a few dots of silicone adhesive to attach to wall.

Fit well and solid enough to glue & pin nail in place.

Wish they were a little shorter, but otherwise easy to put up and a nice finishing touch for outside corners.

The end product with these looks very nice, but in my experience that required some work. First, these will likely need to be sanded, probably a couple times with different grits - for some reason, the finish on these was very rough both times I ordered them, more so than other items in the same line & same wood. I would recommend a 120 followed by a 180 grit, and possibly starting with something rougher if the wood is extremely rough. Also, a wood conditioner is helpful in preventing blotching of a stain or dye, as pine is rather porous. If you're just going to paint them, the conditioner isn't necessary, but you may still want to do some sanding depending on how rough the wood is.

we've purchased these for years and unfortunately the other design has been discontinued. we had to sand (and double sand) each of these, as they were really rough, with splinters and everything.
