I love the look and the size of this appliance. However, after owning it for only 1.5 years this microwave has simply stopped working. Quite annoying because it wasn't cheap as far as microwaves go when I purchased it for FULL PRICE.

Purchased in 2021. It was one of the only 24" options we could find. Near-daily use for the last 3 years. Over time, the cheap plastic has broken where the screws hold the face of the door on, and yesterday it came apart completely. Giving 2 stars because as a microwave, it functions well and has a large capacity. It works great as an appliance, and I love the light underneath. But for the door to only hold up for 3 years, I find unacceptable.

We needed to go with a little smaller microwave in order to accommodate the space in our kitchen. To our delight, the inside of the microwave is roomy and the sleek control panel offers one touch options and easy custom times as well.

Great for true 24" over the counter space. Most are to small for space and require filler side piece.

Installed this microwave last month and it looks great in our modern kitchen. Surprising how much power for a smaller unit. Only feature I wish it had was the ability to turn off the speaker.

I bought this 24 inch over the range microwave to match my 24 inch gas stove (also got from home depot). They fit perfectly in my small kitchen. It is easy to clean. The best thing is you can add external ducting pipe and this machine sucks the air and grease OUT. I have a studio apartment (3 Sides closed kitchen) and when I fry steak, eggs, veggie or anything, I don't smell anything in the living space. If I don't turn it on and cook something soupy and I can smell it in the bathroom. In the beginning I have concerns that it doesn't have enough suction power, but now I think it works just fine. The light is fine, microwave works well. It looks modern, and the price is reasonable. Buy this.

Had this microwave for about 4 months, maybe used it twice. Randomly one day, it caught on fire and started to fill my house up with smoke. I wasn't even using the appliance! I quickly removed the microwave and got it outside. Called GE to replace the unit and they said all they can do is replace the parts that are on fire and then want to reinstall the defective unit back into my home! Mind you the appliance still smells like smoke, let alone is clearly defective and could have burned my whole house down if I wasn't home. I told them I won't be allowing them to put this unit back into my home and so they mailed me some random replacement parts for me to be able to fix it myself. What in the world makes GE think I know how to fix a microwave?! Needless to say I will never be buying anything Haier or GE again. Completely unsafe business practices happening.

Overall we are very pleased with the unit it was relatively easy to install and instructions were clear. The microwave performs extremely well. While the exhaust fan does it's job the only only criticism is that it quite noisy, perhaps because we have it set as a recirculating vent. Possibly if it were venting externally it might be quieter.

Thank you Haier for finally bringing a smaller OTR microwave back to the market! Small kitchens all around New York are thankful! Not since the long discontinued 20" LG OTR microwave intended mainly for motorhomes has there been a an OTR microwave less than 30". This Haier model delivers on that need and does it with style! Everyone who sees it always thinks it looks so fancy and high tech. I'm very happy with this model and my kitchen reno could not be what it is today without it!

It started itself and caught fire. Many of these do so. Don't buy.

Unit started itself without anyone home and caught fire. Just get something else that won't risk your family and home.

Very attractive 24" microwave! Doesn't smudge too easily and cleans up with soap and water.

We have a smaller kitchen and the 24 inch Haier microwave looks perfect above our 24 inch stove.

It cooks and heats food up fast. The exhaust fan works really well. And it looks nice over my 24" range.

Was looking to buy it and the price went up $200 in Jan 2023. Since it didn't happen to other microwaves, guess it's Haier? Will buy a countertop one for $150 until price is back and still save.

Worth the price. We searched for weeks trying to find something that would work for a smaller space finally deciding on Haier. We couldn't be happier with our purchase. It has enough space for our large square plates and splatter guard, as well as our oversized mugs. The convertible venting saved us a lot of hassle as well. It was super easy to install with a convenient template. The sensors actually work! What ever I've tried has come out perfect every time, maybe a touch hotter then needed. The fan is a tiny bit loud on high, but more then worth it for the power. If I had one minor complaint, it'd be that the stainless steel isn't fingerprint resistant. All in all, it's a great microwave that gets the job done and looks nice. I would absolutely buy again.

It is great for an rv needing a small micro. But this is our second one in a little over a year. The control panel went out on the first one. But the customer service folks gave us a $398 credit towards a new one. That covered about two thirds of the cost. We hope that this lasts longer than the first one.

This is an easy to use microwave. I use it over an induction cooktop. I needed the exhaust feature. It is powerful and has a "clean" front, no handle sticking out. I use the kitchen timer constantly, easier to use than the ovens. Both vent and light have high or low settings. The defrost is unusual, you have to identify between four items then put in a weight. How should I put in the weight of 1 slice of bread? I like it, it is a good product.
