This oven is exactly what I was looking for. I previously had an expensive French door oven. It wasn't user friendly and the racks and trays were hard to get in and out of the oven. There were so many buttons and knobs that it was somewhat difficult to set it to cook something as simple as some fish. This Hamilton Beach oven is easy and simple to operate. It has the basic settings needed to cook anything from tator tots to pork chops. The roll top door is a great feature. I won't accidentally burn my arms on a regular pull-down door. Parts of the exterior get hot to the touch but it doesn't radiate enough heat to affect surrounding surfaces. In the past month, I've used this oven more than the expensive one in the 5 years I had it. It just goes to show you that expensive isn't always better. I'll be using this oven a lot. I highly recommend this affordable oven.

It has a nice roll over top making it look so polished and appealing. This not only looks good but also does the baking, toasting very well. This is very handy to bake substantial amount of goodies,toasting,reheating pizza and I need not crank the standard oven which is way too big for small servings. This is perfect for a family of 4. I have been using this toaster oven every morning and evening ,ever since I received it. I would advise to go through the manual before you start any baking as that will give you a good idea and you will not end up under or over bakes goodies. This is a very good value for money kitchen appliance which will sit on your counter top doing so much cooking.

Great item! This replaced another Hamilton Beach toaster oven. The brand is dependable! It is the correct size to do everything I need

I just received unit and set it up last night. Glass, sides, top as well as temperature control knob and knob face plate and cover handle were blazing hot during the ten minute 450 degree burn off. I know the top of toaster ovens get hot but the control knob and faceplate were too hot to touch bare skinned. I will be repackaging and return this unit unfortunately. I liked the notion of having the cover move up and over for easy access but setting the house on fire isn’t worth that convenience.

This toaster oven is perfect for toast, bagels, muffins, etc and baking small quantities. Nice size and the roll up door stops burns from the open door.

This toaster was sent to replace a defective unit. It works perfectly. We also have a Hamilton Beach Food Processor, Crock Pot and Blender. All work perfectly. The Blender is over 50 yr. old and is used all the time. All units are 5 star in our opinion.

I bought this one to replace the exact same product. I love the design of this oven and it’s multiple features. My last one help up very well for over five years(maybe more). The only reason I rated good instead of excellent is that unlike my previous oven, the glass on the door of this one gets blazing hot.

This is what I love, although I have not had it long enough to run it through its paces. I love the lift door, the convex rear to provide room for a pizza, no digital controls, 1400 watts and no more, and that it does not take up too much counter space. So far, it makes good toast and the oven portion works well. The convection fan does not sound very powerful, but I have not tried convection yet. Hard to find counter top appliances at less than 1800 watts so this is a real gem.

We never unpacked the toaster oven. Our only complaint is that Hamilton Beach doesn't even have a live person to talk with for sales questions! If we can't get our questions answered by a human being rather than a canned AI response, what would it be like for tecnical support or warranty claim? We said no thanks and no purchases of any Hamilton Beach products for us!

I like this one, however it would be better if the timer went to an hour instead of just 30 minutes. There used to be a “stay on” feature, but then you have to pay attention to the time. Otherwise it’s a good little item, and I like the lift up door design.

I loved this oven until it would stay on after the bell went off. I have to wiggle the knob to get it to turn off. I contacted Hamilton Beach customer service and they said because it was 3 months past the warranty, they couldnt do anything. I asked if the reason the new version of this oven no longer has a knob is because of this issue. I did not get a response

This is our 2nd Hamilton Beach toaster oven. The first one is 12 years old and still works. We put it in our camper and bought a new one for the house. Works great.

Don’t like that the aluminum tray has to be cleaned every time it is used. It is not easy to clean because it is not good quality.

Great toaster oven and lift up door is ideal for being out of the way.

Works well, good size

This was a waste of time, energy and money. The toast function was the only one that worked with some degree of efficiency. On bake the oven never came close to the set temperature (I used an accurate oven thermometer to check). And the convection function was a joke. The fan caused the machine to rattle loudly, and it never got hot enough to cook anything. Needless to say, I returned it immediately.

Works perfectly. Love it. Does not take up too much space.

This oven is big enough for a pizza! It cooks thoroughly and does a great job on making toast! I love that its easy to clean! The crumb tray and Roll-Top door are both removable for easy access to cleaning! I love that you can cook almost anything a full size oven can cook! It fits perfectly on my cabinet and looks great! This product is made of good quality materials and is sure to last! I would highly recommend!

This is my second purchase of this toaster oven. The first one I ordered was the greatest toaster oven I ever had but it didn't last very long. It stopped working after 30 months but I ordered a second one anyway because I was so happy with the first one. It's great for toast, baking and reheating as the large size allows you to bake casseroles, pizza and other large items that don't fit in a traditional toaster oven. The easy reach feature of the door opening "up" instead of onto the counter was the main reason I purchased it in the first place. It's a fantastic feature. Sure hope this one lasts much longer than the first one. This time I got the extended warranty on it.

i love this toaster oven. my meatloaf came out perfect. breaded frozen fish and chicken came out very crispy. the pizza was perfect. i don.t have a lot of counter space but i'm loving the door that open up rather than down onto my counter. this leaves me room to keep a tempered glass board in front of the machine to put the hot racks or pan on directly from the toaster oven.

Versatile and so handy.
