Was worth the buy!!!

Sleek lamp, looks great and puts out a really nice amount of light. I have two of them, on hardwood floors, and they both lean slightly. Nothing that can’t be remedied, but if I’m giving an honest review, that is it’s one downfall.

got for Christmas 2021, it won’t turn off, you tap the button the light goes very dim almost like a nightlight.

I bought two Pros: Very Stylish Bright 3-way LED Touch on – off button instead of mechanical knob (won’t break off) Easy to assemble Small footprint Cons: Touch on – off does not work with switch activated outlet. It only turns on when touched.

Quite easy to assemble. Puts out a huge amount of light on the ceiling. Good heavy base. Our cat likes to sit on top of the sofa and the light is located right behind. We attached a clip to the sofa to keep kitty from accidentally knocking it over.

We get so many compliments on the floor. Also holds up very well to water. Had a decent amount of water backup into our basement and the floor is perfect. Highly recommend

My living room was extremely dark and when the kitchen light is turned on provide little light. Now that I have installed this floor lamp my entire living room lights up without me having to put the kitchen light on.

There was an obstuction on the thread of the unit which wouldnt allow us to assemble properly

I really needed more light in my living room but I did not want to spend a lot. I LOVE this lamp. It is stylish and provides a lot of light, however, it can be dimmed. The only thing I don't know how long it will last, but if I get a year or two out of it, I'll have gotten my money's worth.

This would be a 5☆ lamp, if it worked with a smart plug.

The lamp was really easy to assemble and lightweight. The height is great and the 3 lighting settings are nice. The third one is bright and can illuminate a large size room. I have had this lamp for almost a month. It definitely exceeds my expectations.

In light of COVID-19, I needed a front light for my Dean's office due to all of webinars and zoom meetings but it needed too be something that fit with in the decor of the office. This light serves that function perfectly. It is great as a regular lamp and also serves as the perfect camera light for our meetings and webinars. I love that the head of the light can tilt so you focus it.

Easy to assemble and provides a good amount of light. It can be set to different levels, although I generally use it at full brightness. One star deducted because the finish on the shade is imperfect and looks like it may flake off over time. I would have ordered a second lamp right away, but am holding off to see whether the finish on the shade holds up.

Minimalist design and size that fits in well with most decor styles and can be tucked away where you need it without much of a footprint. Assembly is basic and only requires twisting the pieces together (wiring is pre strung and the LEDs are integrated). The power switch is a touch control that needs only a light tap to cycle through three brightness settings back to off. It illuminates a small to medium sized room well on its own. The top can be tilted to direct light a particular way or simply for its looks. The only potential negative is that since it requires touch, it cannot be controlled directly through a switch or automated on a timer or smart device.

I found the Hampton Bay 71.65 in. Black LED Floor Lamp to be an outstanding product. The lamp has three different brightness levels with the final quite capable of illuminating a medium sized room. The lamp is very distinguished looking. It comes with an LED light bulb preinstalled, with a 27 year life span. Think of the money one could save by not having to purchase LED bulbs for over twenty years. Also the bulb is rated to only use 36 watts.

Modern Floor Lamp. Perfect floor lamp for our sons playroom. The touch sensitive button are a perfect feature for this modern looking floor lamp. The light has two sets of integrated LEDs bulbs. One on the top and a ring around the bottom. The light temperature is very WHITE looking. The light includes three dimmable settings. Easy to assemble and the matte black metal has a nice finish to it. Also, the lamp has a good weight to it, will not tip over easily.

I love this lamp! It was easy to assemble--just thread a few pieces of the stand together and plug it in. I like the modern look of this lamp, and I like that the light emanates from above and below the "head" of the lamp. It has a convenient touch control button, and three light levels so the amount of light can be customized to fit your needs. I would definitely recommend this lamp!

We love this Hampton Bay black LED floor lamp. It gives off great light on all 3 levels it has low, medium, high and it gives light off in 2 directions up and down and it light up your room very nice. If you like to read books or net like my wife this light helps you to see what you are doing. This light is well made and very easy to put together it take you just a couple minutes and you will be ready to use it. You don't need to worry about replacing the bulb since it is LED it last along time. The is very durable lamp another great product from Hampton Bay. To turn it on there is a sensor on the pole all you have to do is touch it the light will come on for you it start out on low and touch it again for each level of light touch want. This is a very good light and I think it be around for along time.

Hello is it 2024 or what?... This Dumb lamp does NOT Work with a regular light switch that every American house has in their bedroom or living room. It has a "touch" switch on the lamp pole and will not turn back on via the wall switch you used with your old lamp. I wish these buyers for major retailers would get their head out there a*# and actually understand what type of product they are selling to the public. SHAME... SHAME... SHAME! Fire the Hampton Bay product development team.

I bought one of these to replace taller halogens, and found that it did a better job than they had done, and lit the area well. Loved the three way finger tap switch. So I bought two more. I guess that's the best endorsement. The lamps are simple, assemble in minutes, and use a lot less power than the 300 watts quartz units they replaced. And they don't generate the heat in the office room that the older hot bulbs did. Count us very satisfied

this was an identical replacement for a lamp I bought at Home Depot 2 1/2 years ago. For $75 I would expect a product to last much more than 2 1/2 years. The lighting element was still OK, it is the touch ON/OFF actuator that failed, just poor workmanship. And no one to discuss the problem, although the Hope Depot person tried his best to connect me to a technical advisor at the lamp maker- all fake phone numbers, impossible to get the manufacturer. My previous light fixture made in Italy lasted 37 years, so much for Hampton Bay

It arrived with a cracked switch and it doesn't work on the first try when turning on/off or changing brightness. Trying to return it is too much of a hassle... I cannot save boxes in my apartment.

The fact that you can swivel the top portion is mind blowing. My kids enjoy the lamp in their rooms. Got them on sale which made it even better. Thanks Home Depot

Does not work with switched outlet. Very disappointing for a floor lamp. If you set it up, switch it on and then use a switched outlet to turn it off, when you turn the switched outlet back on the lamp will be off. Not a useful design.

The lamp was easy to assemble and worked as expected. I bought one and wanted another so I went to the iPhone app and checked availability at my local store. One in stock. So I reserved it for store pickup. An hour later I received a message: "We have cancelled your order" with a recommendation to a store 20 or 30 miles away that had some. I checked other more local Home Depots and found the lamp 5 miles away from the first store. I got the lamp. took it home and assembled it but it flickered on the low setting and wouldn't select the intermediate setting (it tried but quickly went to high). So I took it back to the store and got another one, which worked fine. All's well that ends well, I guess, and they are nice lamps.
