Beautiful fan. Really easy to install. The fan blades were amazing. They click in AND are balanced. The air output of this fan is amazing. I liked it so much I bought two of them. The lighting output was awesome but be forewarned, once you put it in it may show you areas on your floor that need more cleaning attention. I am not a fan of installing ceiling fans but the engineers who created this one got it all right. EASY to install.

Just installed this. Needed to purchase a 24" extension rod because of high ceiling. Classic look, LEDs have warm look.

This replaced the Hampton Bay fan I have been using for about 20 years when it started making a lot of noise. My husband has no problems installing it & attaching the included light kit. The fan is quiet; the lights are bright; everything was included in the package and nothing was damaged or missing. My only complaint is that the angle on the individual lights are directly in your eyes when you walk in the room and, my pet peeve - THEY ARE NOT DIRECTIONAL ADJUSTABLE :( My old fan had an adjustable 4-light kit so my husband took the plain bottom cover from the Rockport, drilled the required holes in it to support my old light set & replaced the Rockport light kit which works fine & each light is adjustable. For some reason there are very few adjustable light kits available for any ceiling fans anymore.

First time installing a ceiling fan. Usually have the installed. After watching the video decided worth a try. Re-watched the video, read and the followed instructions meticulously step by step. Start to finish 90 minutes total. Looks great, lights brighter than expected ( a good thing) fan is quiet and moves air very well. For the price and not having professionally installed this was an exceptional value. Great purchase!

For the price, this fan is a 5 star ceiling fan actually. Plus it was super simple to install there wasn't anything to it, the only downfall to this device is that the light bulb covers are cheaply held in place and a pain to put on and take off if they were to need cleaning. But otherwise this was a super simple task to put together mount and wire, puts off a massive amount of air. Highly recommend

The fan was an easy installation and I mean easy. And it's so very quite and it cost a fraction of what the old noisiest one cost.

WOW , I am a retired electrician and I can remember many a nightmare ceiling fan adventures. BUT this one was truly a dream from beyond. I was most impressed by the way the blades are mounted TOTALLY TROUBLE FREE ! for an easy instillation .

Great fan...extremely quiet. Only thing that I would have changed are the matte white light fixtures, they almost appear to look like plastic.

Purchased this fan to replace/update my bedroom's 18-year-old, boring white ceiling fan. Good fan for the price. It looks great, is very quiet and generates a great deal of airflow within my bedroom. The fan comes with three LED bulbs (60 watt, 800 lumens), which I found to be far too bright for my bedroom. It was like walking directly into the sun. I replaced with 40-watt, 330 lumen bulbs, which softly illuminates the room. I gave it four starts only because the shades shown in the photo for the Oil Rubbed Bronze fan are a bit misleading. They appear to be beige in color, however, the shades are actually bright white. I would've preferred beige; it's more complimentary to the bronze finish. White is too stark of a contrast. Minus this...overall I am very pleased with my fan.

Great Rockport fan. Love the brushed nickel look. Some don't like the three lights shining down since it's not as modern as the dome, but the three lights is typically brighter. I've never installed this fan before, but I've done maybe 25 fans already and they are all pretty similar. I did this one in about 20 minutes. Nice, quiet and bright for our 12x13 room.

I love the glass globes on the light It was hard to install For a few weeks we had this fan.

Pros: Mostly an easy installation. Mine did not require balancing. I really like the easy blade attachment without tons of screws and rubber washers like older models. I was pleasantly surprised how much brighter the three 9w LED bulbs are than the 3 CFL bulbs in my old unit. Cons: I suspect this is common with most fans, so don't assume this is a unique detractor for this one. --- The install instructions did not address a common variety of wiring situations. I had two switches at the wall. One for light, the other for the fan. There is no way to install so that you can fully and independently operate from both the wall switches and from the remote. The installation instructions did not address this at all, so I had to search for options on the internet. Ended up leaving one of the wall switches disabled so either the unit has power, or not, then the remote is used to select independent power and adjust fan speed. --- The remote is designed to mount to a plate similar to a single light-switch plate with two nipples on it. However the screw spacing is not standard to fit an existing junction box if I wanted to mount it where the disabled light switch was. It would be nice to have a more aesthetic option so the remote can be carried to the bed-side table at night, then hung near the door (and light switch) when you depart (without mounting an additional plate to the wall).

This is a very nice looking, inexpensive fan. It is quiet and doesn't wobble. Also, it give a great amount of light and included 3 LED softwhite 60W equivalent bulbs. Mine is installed with a Hunter 36" bronze downrod that matches perfectly. I am happy with my purchase.

Great looking unit and for the price I relaced 4 in my home! Be sure to use the access hole for easy install of blades (not in directions).
