This is exactly what I needed. Mine broke after 6 years and this was a replacement. It worked right out of the box.

It is probably good, sorry have not had a chance to use it yet. My last fan was a Hampton Bay as well, only my old one came equipped with a remote. This one not only does not have a remote, the chain to turn on fan and lights is not reachable. In the interim, I ordered a pricey universal sent back

I highly recommend this product! Love it! My fan was professionally installed and I purchased this remote for my Honeywell fan. It makes my fan feel like an air conditioner...lol...love it! It comes on when the temperature falls below the temperature level you set it at. That's if you want it fan auto which I do. It is such an energy saver! Although I wished it came with a bracket or holder for the remote.

Installation instructions were excellent. Worker first time. Auto fan and timer are fantastic features.

Awesome device to allow any fan to be controlled with a remote. I did use with Hampton Bay fans, but it is suppose to work with varying brands/models.

Not sure about this remote Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. The light button is particularly troubling. The fan seems to work okay but not all the time. I will monitor the results and check back.

Settings are a little "clunky." (For instance, you can't tell if the FAN AUTO option is on unless the temperature triggers the fan, and if you turn the control OFF--no memory--you need to reset everything when you turn it back on. Also, I might have missed something, but my 3 speeds don't light up the 3 indicator lights in accordance with the fan speed.) But, thermostatic option is the reason I bought this remote, and I love that option.

Great product. Instantly makes any fan smart.

Easy to install. The built in dimmer function for the light bulb part of the fan is very handy. I used it on Hunter brand fans and works perfectly. I installed two of these in adjacent rooms and had to change the frequency setting using the dip switch on one of those to to avoid situation where remote from fan in one room operated the fan in the other. This needs to be done at installation because the base module is installed inside the fan mount housing and to do it later on would require the entire fan or the housing to be removed. Just for clarification: All fan remote controls work this way.

Great multi function remote for the price.One thing to be aware of is that light dimming is disabled out of the box. You must flip a small dip switch in the battery compartment to enable it. I was surprised that the dimming function didn't work until I went back and re-read the instructions.
