The fan is beautiful, but it has a very loud hum when it's on. Sadly, we will be returning it because of the hum.

We first bought the fan for the bed room, but once I saw how big the light was and how much air it put out I changed and put it in my office and am glad I did. Outstanding light control on both dim or high. The shape and style looks great. Most fans make a noise when running but this one is very quite. It runs on remote control for both fan and light. Good buy for the money.

Does not move as much air as I would like but I knew that when I chose a four bladed fan! However, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when I discovered that the remote did NOT come with a battery!! Got the fan installed, ready to go and could not use it until I bought a battery. Shame on Hampton Bay!

Disappointed in the lighting. Otherwise easy to install and looks impressive.

These look beautiful in our new lake house.. however, we did put them up next to a new chandelier and the bulbs that were included with the fan were not LED so something you might want to be aware of.. we replaced the old bulbs with LED and they are stunning!

I was looking for a fan that wasn't too traditional or too modern, and was interesting and different, and this fan fit the criteria. Like all fans, it wasn't super easy to install, but we figured it out. I really like the look of this fan. It has a lux quality to it considering the price. The light is nice and warm, and it makes no noise at all. Very happy.

What a NIGHTMARE! Install was horrible, finally beat it. I had to get a longer downrod to get it in. It was just not going up, and their customer service line is horrid. At least it looks pretty good and so far it is nice. Recommend for looks, not for headaches. They need to make their included downrods longer!

This was the second fan that we purchased and paid to install. The first had a grinding sound that developed in the motor. We returned it and went on line and bought a different model and manufacturer. We paid to have it installed again and after a week it is making a loud noise of indeterminate source.. Will once again have to remove it and hope Home Depot will pick up the cost of replacement and install.

I purchased this particular fan for it's unusual and unique look. I installed it in my office and I'm quite pleased with the style and function. One thing to be aware of is the light, due to it's design aims most of the light straight down. Other than that the fan works perfectly and is very quiet.

We are thrilled with this ceiling fan/light. It has such character and adds to all our all white kitchen. Brings out the gray in the granite. Love it!

Bought this fan for kitchen area. It fits very nicely with the modern country look. Beautiful style, great finish and the light is a soft white so it adds a bit of ambiance to the room. The remote control is an added bonus to change the rotation of the fan or turn it on/off.

My nephew installed the fans with no problem. They look wonderful I am using the 2 in my dormer upstairs in a bungalow. I cant believe how much air circulates. I am sure I will be very comfortable in the summer months with these fans and a window air conditioner. I don't think I will be using air conditioner much these fans seem to cool down my room...........I especially love that there remote hooked them both up to one remote.............Great buy on my part

Always hard to find a great looking fan that also has a light. You can dim the light with the remote and change the speeds by the report. Great value.

the lights are not super bright - small bulbs and heavy retro cover. If you are needing the lights to brighten the room look for a different fan. Otherwise good looking, quiet and effective.

This is a great looking fan. There is a slight ticking noise at higher speeds. This might be a balancing issue.

Quiet and efficient for the price of $129. Installation was simple if done before. Instructions would be complicated for first timers.

We bought this fan on a 40% off sale, which I felt was a very good value. The fan itself looks very nice and modern. Putting the fan together initially was fairly straightforward. However, we have 8 foot ceilings, and when using the longer of the rods that attach to the ceiling, the fan was much too low in the room (right above my husband's head, who is 6 feet tall). The instructions never mentioned that there was another, shorter rod included as well. However, as we took the fan apart to return to Home Depot, we found the shorter rod in the box. We then put the fan BACK together thinking that this fan would work after all. Unfortunately, the shorter rod does not fit the fan! If you use the shorter rod, you can't use another element that covers up the bolts and cords. So, we took it apart AGAIN to return to the store. The fan is nice, but it is ridiculous that the parts don't actually work together. Very frustrating.

I love my fan! It looks very modern and sleek and just adds umph to my family room's decor. I will say the light is a smidge dim but I like it because it brings a little spotlight in the room at night. Easy installation and we get so many compliments!

We're always looking for something a little different and this fan is just a bit more unique than your typical ceiling fan. We bought it online without seeing it in person so we weren't quite sure how much we'd like it. We are very happy with the look. The light is a nice alternative to the typical dome look or the tulip shaped down lights. Seems well made and effective. We are very happy with our choice.

Beautiful. The 12 volt battery for the remote did not come with the fan; purchase a 12 volt battery when you purchase the fan online to allow for immediate use.

could noit utilize the smaller rod included with the fan.. Could not use as a hugger.. After reading and rereading I could not figuer how to attach the clevis pin for safety due to no room to work with. I need help but whom do I call???
