Better quality and good illumination

I used this to replace a worn out button on a Nutone front door box. Fit perfectly, lights and works like a charm.

I returned the item because I didn't need a lighted one for the area where it would be installed.

It seems a fine product, it fit perfectly in size into the decorative plate I have, and the fact that it is a two-piece is good, so the rim can be placed outside the plate, and then snapped over the button if needed. There is however a monumental problem for me, it is impossible to screw on the cables since the screws' heads are facing towards the inside of the wall. the cables coming from the wall are not long enough for me to fit my hand and a screwdriver , no matter how small. The screws should be to the side, like shown on the picture describing the product, but that is not what I got in the package. I hate when stores disrespect my time like this. Just describe the items properly, have some standards, carry better suppliers that know what they are doing.

The button lights up just fine and it works fine. I wasn't expecting it to light up through the thin plastic sides, too, so it's unattractive for a front door bell. If you need a button that also serves as a night light then you'll like this one. I wouldn't buy it again.

The door bell was exactly the right size and color to replace the one I had on my 20 year old house. It was easy to install and lights up bright too. Good price as well

Incandescent lighted doorbell buttons last only a few years. I've been looking for an LED replacement for a long time but only been able to find the more expensive decorative types. Installed it this evening with no issues. Nice warm white color which matches the incandescent. Would be nice if it had some type of retainer clip as this is pressed into a small decorative brass bezel and is a bit loose but will work. It's actually a bit on the bright side. We'll see what the lifespan is.

Seems to work, but the plastic is so thin the light shines around the side walls which makes it look cheap.

Looking to replace a broken button. the product was the one that fit my needs. wish they had a little better selection. but i guess everybody seems to be going to the doorbell camera type.
