We purchased 5 of these for an embedded-in-the-surface concrete project. They are packaged in bags protected by cardboard boxes. Strangely, all 5 were shipped independently rather than repackaged into one box. Shipping was free but it must have been costly to ship it that way. We were hoping that the green would have been darker like ivy. The green that we received was closer to the birthstone Peridot. One side of the glass is coated with a silvery coating to make penetrated light bounce back through the glass. While the concept is interesting, there is no practical way of turning over every piece of glass with the reflective side down; it would take forever. We ended up doing a diamond polish anyways that removed any exposed silver. I'm not sure what is done to remove razor sharp edges from the glass but you can grab handfuls with your bare hands without getting cut. Nice not having to wear gloves for this. Being a decorative product, I would suggest that various glass colors are described better. Blue, yes but what shade... Indigo, Cobalt, Aquamarine? In our case, Green ended up being lighter than depicted in the online photo.

Perfect match with my fire pit

Glass pieces were very small, they easily slipped through the crack around the edge of the fire pit. These also changed from blue to black.
