We bought this for our guest room. Everyone likes it.

I’m assured that had I received all parts to complete assembly of this product, the end result would be extraordinarily beautiful. However, after hiring a contractor to install this fixture the end result has left me completely Frustrated and highly dissatisfied!! We were unable to complete installation, due to missing crystals! I’m missing an entire row of the (K) crystals and I am flabbergasted that Home Depot does not have better quality control, with their merchandising/vendors. I’m Not pleased, and since this product is in our entryway, I’m sure that my guest will not be too.

Love love love this fixture! Pure luxurious glamour! Can be a bit tedious with the crystal placement but well worth it once complete. Not hard to add crystals just time consuming. May want to use soft gloves to avoid finger prints on crystals. May be easier installation if hook to ceiling first then place crystals otherwise it will be heavy to hold while trying to affix to ceiling bracket.

The light was easy to assemble once all the crystals were attached. It took about 10 minutes to put the light in place. We are very happy with our selection.

This is a beautiful high-end "Glam" lighting fixture. I installed it in my master bathroom with a dimmer switch. My bathroom is on the dark side with no windows and I needed a light that could be bright enough for me to put my make-up on and also dimmable so I could use for ambiance lighting for when I wanted to relax and take bubble bath. This crystal fixture (and I do mean real glass crystals) does not disappoint and spreads beautiful light around the room. I was so excited and pleased with this light, I purchased another one for my office!

Absolutely beautiful light, looks like it should cost easily twice its price, and it probably would if it came fully assembled. As others have noted, it will take a bit of time to get all 54 of the glass pieces installed, but once that's done, you have this amazing light for your entryway. Cleaning is also a bit of a pain since there's so many loosely hanging little glass pieces, but again, given the price of the light, I'm more than willing to look past it. If you have the patience to assemble something like this, you can stop your search for a new light... if you don't have the patience, or dexterity to basically put 54 keys onto 54 keychains, since that's the closes analog to how its assembled, look at something else.

This light fixture has an incredible visual appeal and ample lighting albeit after a painstaking installation. The light does come partly assembled with crystals already mounted along the bottom and top but you will need to then attach each of 52 individual crystals around the circumference that each have a split metal ring hanger. I would advise wearing a soft glove on one hand to avoid finger prints on the crystals during installation (the pre-installed crystals were packed well with bubble wrap but required a fair amount of cleaning due to finger prints on each one that I assume were from factory assembly). I would also recommend waiting to attach the crystals until after you have the fixture mounted in order to reduce the weight of the light you're holding up. There are two main negatives for the installation. First and foremost is that there is no included temporary hanger to support the light while you wire it to the junction box. So you will either need a second person to hold it up for you or a tall ladder to set it on. Secondly, the threaded nipples to attach the fixture to the mounting bracket do not have an indicated length of how far to screw them in; it took me three or four trials of wiring and mounting before I got the length correct such that the decorative nuts could be flush with the fixture base. All in all, give yourself several hours to assemble and mount this fixture. In the end though, the light looks amazing refracting through the crystals and illuminates well.

This light adds a bit of class and elegance to any room! Very easy to assemble but installation on the other hand, I’ll just say it was a family affair. Actually, I’ll say a bit more about that as it was an adventure that must be shared... As I stated, assembling the fixture was very straight forward. You assemble the top half and then hang it from the ceiling. During this assembly of the top half, the side crystals are attached by hand. Took a bit of time but again, easy to do. Our light was coming together, and we were excited! Then I lifted the light and looked up at the nine-foot ceiling where it would be mounted, hadn’t thought that height factor into my steps. My wife and I tried standing on step ladders, one of us holding up the light while the other tried connecting wires, but soon we called for two of our teenage children to come with a 6-foot step ladder. The hanging product finally came into place with two people on step ladders, one on the ladder, and the fourth standing on the ground providing wire nuts and screw covers. Six sore arms later the light was hung securely, and the power was turned back on to test it out. 3, 2,1, flip the switch! Low and behold, no sparks or smell of Sulphur but light began to stream through the crystals; we were successful! We could have left it at this point but now flip the instructions back a page to finish mounting the bottom diffuser. Again, simple instructions to follow and our light was finished. If I could provide one tip for anyone else, it would be to hang the side crystals AFTER mounting the light to the ceiling as this makes the unit lighter and easier to hang. Now as we proved you can follow the instructions and mount the crystals first, just be sure you are more prepared than we were with someone or something to hold the light in place while mounting.

Home Decorators Collection 3-Light Chrome is very nice light fixture. Beautiful addition to my Master Bedroom. Allot of unpacking. A little heavy to hold up and attach the wires seeings how I have a bad neck, shoulder and back took a little longer than I was hoping. The lighting is glamorous but modest and not too much. The crystals are semi easy to put on and there are allot of them, wore rubber gloves. There is smaller crystals at the top that are already attached and so are the ones on the bottom. Installed 3 LED bulbs Love the way it shines. Buy this! I promise you will be happy with the results.

This 15 1/2 lb. light fixture is beautiful. The fixture was easy to install. What ended up taking hours to do was unwrapping the 52 crystals and then installing them onto the fixture. You have to pry open the small round key chain and then insert it into a tiny hole on the metal frame. It would have been nice if they had used "S" hooks instead. Be prepared to spend hours putting on the Crystals as well as unwrapping them. It's a gorgeous light fixture but I wouldn't want to assemble another one.

The HDC chrome/crystal ceiling light fixture will dazzle your room with prismatic light. The instructions are good, but there are a lot of parts to this fixture. (52 glass crystals that need to be assembled). Plan to spend two hours installing this fixture. I installed my fixture in a small kitchen on an open-beam ceiling. As a result, I had to use an electrical pancake box. This caused me to have to shorten the circular strap mounting screws. You will need a second person when connecting the wires. After I had completed the install, I noticed that the chrome and crystal had fingerprints, so I recommend wearing latex gloves to keep the crystals and chrome clean. The light uses (3) standard bulbs. I used 60 watt CFL bulbs, but you could also use any type including 100 watt LED bulbs. This is a great flexible feature. Plenty of light for small to mid-sized rooms. The crystals reflect light up and out which add to the dazzle of your room. The bottom diffuser brings light down to the floor and work surfaces (kitchen). One concern: In order to change the light bulbs, you will have to remove the bottom diffuser to gain access to the light bulbs. Not the most convenient. A 5-year warranty will help make sure this light will last. I just installed another "crystal" light fixture in the dining room (next to the kitchen). It goes great with the other fixture. I also like the "semi-flush" feature as I had to mount this on a wood beam. It fit perfectly.

What an ordeal. Do not buy this light. Prior reviews stated missing crystals. I also was missing 13 crystals on the light. I contacted Home Depot whom passed me on to the distributor. (Just getting this far was 30 minutes.)The distributor would send me another light, BUT, I had to mail the one I received back to them. I asked them to simply send the missing crystals. No, they would not. I asked if they would quality check the crystal count on the next light before shipping. They would not. I ordered a second light from the Home Depot website. It was also missing 10 crystals. QA is horrible. 2 lights 23 missing crystals. Ridiculous. I realize this is a distributor issue, but I trust the Home Depot website to contract with reliable partners.

So excited over my new light fixture. It goes great with the dining room

Looks gorgeous in my bedroom. Unfortunately, about 3-4 of the installed crystals on the bottom are imperfect (scratched or slightly chipped), 6 of the large side crystals were missing from the box and several of those were imperfect. Be prepared to install those yourself before hanging the light. The light is out of stock so my options were to uninstall/return or keep the imperfect fixture. It produces a nice ambiance with the crystals reflecting off the walls/ceiling so I adjusted the missing crystals so it's less obvious.

I was looking for a ceiling light in our Dining room.Searched on different websites but ultimately I found this beautiful piece on Homedepot site.

Installed 2 of these. They are great looking lights. Unfortunately, both packages were missing crystals - 10 of them per each box. Count them before you install to make sure they are all there!

I ordered 2 of these for my closet. The Light is absolutely beautiful, however it came with missing parts and crystals.

The light is nice, but very poor quality control. I and my wife spent the time to hang the crystals but found out the hard way that there were 12 missing when we were almost done putting the crystals in the assembly. Called Home Decorators using the phone number provided in the manual. A rep answered my call, had me waited for 30 mins and hung up on me. Un-professional. Purchased a second one, same thing 12 crystals were missing. Very disappointed

This was a bit of a challenge since I had to attach all the 54 prisms myself! But how beautiful!! Gorgeous light! The first one I ordered was missing 10 prisms! Second one was perfect!

You have to put the crystals on yourself one at a time. Which is fine because this looks amazing. I put them on and was missing 10 crystals. Called support because it read in the paperwork to call them first for missing parts. No problem I thought, I waited this long for the light fixture to arrive, I can wait a little longer for the parts to ship to me. The lady on the other end took my information and put me on hold to talk to "talk to the parts division". When she came back on she said they didn't anymore crystals to send me and that I would have to take it to my local Home Depot and exchange it for another one and that there was nothing else she could do. I asked at the store if this light fixture had been discontinued and they said it had not. I asked if it looked like it was going to be and they said not that they could tell. The question nobody could answer was then why couldn't I just have 10 more crystals shipped to me? So I got my money back for it and will probably not by this brand again. And I'm pretty sure this is a Home Depot brand.
