We got this area rug for the kitchen floor and when it arrived we were very happy with the appearance and the quality of the rug. It's actually a little bigger than the stated dimensions of 5' x 7', it measures 5'-4" x 7'-6" which works fine for our space. Bigger is better in this case. The colors are very nice, the blue is on the muted dark aqua side and the rest of the colors go well with it. It's pretty thick but we always put a high quality pad under our area rugs. Very comfy underfoot.

This is ultimate luxury in an area rug. I must say, this is an amazing rug. When you look at this, it looks beautiful. But when you look closely, it has quality that really shows. You'll find yourself, as I have, been blown away with this rug. The pile is thick and plush, just not really tall, so you won't trip over it. But when you stand on it, sit on it, play with your kids on it, etc. you'll realize how simply luxurious this is. I did the flashlight test (shine light through it) and could NOT see any light coming through from back to front. This is the sign of a quality rug. The pile is tight and plush, but not deep enough to trip over. It feels like carpet from a multi-million dollar mansion. And it looks luxurious too! You won't be disappointed with this.

Medallion Area Rug The first thing that hit me when we unrolled this rug, was the thickness and softness, makes it feel so thick and comfortable to walk on. I have several real handwoven wool oriental carpets in the house, and this one certainly holds its own in comparison. The design is very authentic. My husband and I closed our eyes and walked on the old rug, and then this new one, and both agreed! This new one felt thick and at least triple the cushion of the old! Yet the yarns are so thick they firmly stand together. We could detect no off-gassing, which we are sensitive to. I was worried it would be too light in color because of the word Ivory in its title. The colors fit perfectly in our bedroom, with taupe/grey colors in the new floors and in the bed. The colors do change depending on the angle or side of the bed, as you can see in the pictures. We wanted the smaller size of rug, because it is easier to manipulate without hiring anyone to move it when needed. So we thought two identical rugs on each side of the bed would look best. Since the room is not square and has walls at a number of angles, we placed one rug at an angle parallel to one wall, and on the other other side, a rug parallel to the bed. This allowed us to show off the beauty of the rugs without having to bury most of the beauty under the bed!

Great muted colors in Gray, Ivory, Charcoal and Blue with a medallion pattern. This rug has a jute backing, is very soft and measures approximately 5ft x 7 ft. You might need a non-slip pad if you don’t have it anchored by a piece of furniture, especially on hardwood on tile floors. It is made of 100 % polypropylene, is about a half inch think and is flame retardant and stain resistant. Great addition to any room.

This Angora Ivory 5 by 7 rug is probably one of the busiest and most ornate patterns I've ever encountered on a rug. Yet, because all the colors are similar in tone, it comes across as very laid-back and settled feeling. Primarily a medium gray tone, there are also subdued tan and bluish tones included with the gray on a cream (ivory) background. Rug is medium-weight and very soft feeling. A rug pad will be required on hard floors. While I don't have a very good spot to display this rug, it is a classic and aristocratic looking rug if you have the right place to use it.

Let me just start off by saying I’m not generally a rug type of guy. However with me just recently moving into a house with tile, the floor can sometimes be pretty icy, especially during the winter! I know this rug is an awesome addition to my living room, feels like it has history and character all over it. I haven’t had a change to get it laid out for full review, but what I can say is that this is a think, super duper soft, and beautiful looking rug. Goes well with grey or blue interior furniture. Not gonna lie, makes me want to go get another one for another room in the house. You will not be disappointed!!!!!

This 8 x 10 Angora area rug is soft to walk on and very nice looking. The color is mostly shades of gray but looks very nice. I really like the pattern and think an area rug like this needs to be displayed in an open area to show off the pattern of this area rug. I have two Angora area rugs and love how they feel on the bottom of your feet as you walk across them. It is almost like walking on a cloud and even when your feet ache from a long day, this area rug reduces the aches and pains in your feet. I would highly recommend this area rug or any area rug made from Angora wool.

This Home Decorators Collection 8 ft. x 10 ft. Angora Anthracite Medallion Area Rug is a nice quality floor covering that lays flat easily right out of the roll and looks great. The pattern is quite complex but with the slight brownish undertones and variations in color that gets lost like it is an heirloom. It fit right in easily in our living room and blended into our neutral gray color scheme. It has a very soft, short, compact pile with a very high thread count that feels really good to bare feet.

This Home Decorators Collection Angora Anthracite 8 x 10 ft medallion area rug in grey is just the rug we have been looking for. This polypropylene rug will be just right for our nearly finished basement sitting area. The rug is a nice color for our bleached "faux" oak luxury vinyl floors.The rug is soft for the grandkids to play on and looks very nice for our new room. I think it would look nice with many decors. In fact, since our basement is not yet finished, we put the rug in our family room in order to take a photo. As you can see in the photo, the rug goes very nicely in this room also. I guess we will have to decide when the basement is finished whether to move it there or leave it in the family room.

The Angora rug looked stunning in my parents formal living room paired with gray leather couches. It was perfect as they needed a rug that had just enough plush height without being a trip hazard. The price was reasonable and they loved it so it was a winner ??

Difficult to rate. First, looks nothing like the advertised image. Maybe if they emphasized “Distressed Look” it would get higher ratings. It is well made otherwise. If I had not needed an area rug at time of purchase, would have definitely sent it back. Won’t keep it long. Already looking for another.

Minor color change is normal as the nap of this type of carpet is pushed to and fro by walking, moving chairs, vacuuming, etc. With this rug the color change was from the base colors to stark white, like an ever-changing landscape of snow drifts. This did not improve with time as the rug "decompressed" from arriving rolled. We reluctantly packed it back up and returned it. HD customer service was very good throughout the experience.
