A more budget friendly DC motor fan
I had bought a larger DC fan but needed two smaller ones. I found this and they are fantastic. Full featured remote with many useful features such as timer, dimmer, and breeze mode. Added great feature is that it uses standard A24 light sockets. We used two 100W equivalent LED bulbs that are dimmable. The bulbs supplied are not dimmable.

Good looks, performance and quiet
This is a good looking and performing fan. Real wood fan blades that move a lot of air if you want. 6 speeds are great, but i would prefer to have an actual speed number on the remote rather than a light that shows the speed in a range. VERY quiet. I liked it so much I went back and bought a total of 4, which did cause me to re-pair the correct remote with the correct fan. But that takes 30 seconds using the remote and wall switch. Even with long downrods, they don't wobble. I like that i can change the standard LED bulbs for other colors or brightness. The LED lightning isn't built into the light and the bulbs are easy to change by removing the REAL glass light cover. Installation was simple. The light and dimming can be a little slow to respond to the remote, but not much of an issue. I recommend it.

We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. The fan may be receiving an interfering signal from another device which could cause the fan to operate randomly. To resolve this issue, you will just need to change the frequency of the remote. To do so, turn the power to the fan off at the breaker box or wall switch and change the dip switch position in the battery compartment to the 1 setting. Then, return power to the fan and within 30 seconds, press and release the learn button in the battery compartment of the remote. That will change the frequency of the remote to avoid the interfering signal. If that does not resolve the issue, please call Home Decorators Collection customer service at 1-800-986-3460 and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Extremely Noisy
Noisiest fan I have ever owned. Not sure I would recommend this one. All my fans (12) are HD fans and none of them have given me the trouble this one has.

Tremedously pleased
This fan is excellent in every way. It moves air so well that I keep it at the lowest possible setting on most days. The gentle breeze from the lowest setting keeps me comfortable on hot days. The dimmable light is a plus. I found the DC motor to be very interesting; the product description and the manual both communicate very clearly that this fan takes a few seconds to get going due to the more efficient motor. I will buy this again for other rooms.

Thank you for your review. Each socket is rated for 60-watts maximum. The bulbs can be replaced with higher wattage equivalent LED bulbs if more light is required.

Very nice ceiling fan. I mounted it in our entryway...
Very nice ceiling fan. I mounted it in our entryway using a 60” down rod from the 17’ sloped ceiling and it looks great. The blades are a little unique and have a nice curve to them which adds a lot to the appearance in my opinion. But, even more importantly, my wife likes it too!
Hope it lasts longer than the Hunter that it replaced. Due to the difficulty of reaching that 17’ ceiling I’ve put off installing a new one since the Hunter died only a few years after I installed it about 18 years ago. The lights were working but no fan. So it’s very nice to have good air circulation again in that part of the house.

worst fan ever
Installed and worked for 3 weeks. Then the light turned on and off randomly and the fan would only operate on lowest speed

I love the fan just one prob....
I love the fan it is very well made and puts out a lot of airflow. The problem is the lighting , they put a white later inside of the globe that cuts back the light output significantly. Without the globe plenty of light! With the globe very dim and hard to see. That's my only complaint! It's a fantastic fan 😁👍

QUIET and great circulation - but...
This is a very nice, QUIET fan and even easy to put up. Although the “Comfort Breeze” feature is a bit yet to be desired, the fan on low speed has great circulation. One thing to be aware of: BE CAREFUL tightening the blade screws, especially the center screw. I had three blades crack down the center, one slightly noticeable from the bottom, and I was VERY careful after the first crack was heard. Customer service wanted me to return it, no way... it’s up now and staying that way!

Returned three Hunter fans that only put out ~3k CFM and purchased three of these fans based off reviews stating powerful air movement (plus they were on sale for $129.99) and boy were they right! I wanted air flow that would blow papers around the room and give us a wind chill that makes you reach for a blanket even during this disgusting Florida summer heat. Manual states CFM on highest setting is ~6k but I’m inclined to believe its higher. These fans put our $1,000 Monte Carlo Maverick to shame. TIP: As suggested by a prior review, install four blades prior to hanging. Great fans, they look expersive, super quiet, and powerful air movement. My only regret is that I didn’t buy 2 more for our other bedrooms and now they’re sold out :(

Every bell and whistle that a fan can have...
This fan has just about every bell and whistle you can have with a fan--and it can all be done right from the remote. The only problem I have with it is that the globe that covers the light bulbs is too opaque. It essentially reduces the light output by half. I have two 1600 lumen LED bulbs in this thing (the most lumens you can get with A19 bulbs) and it is still not bright enough to light up my master bedroom. They don't make a more transparent version of it, either. Would not recommend.

Straight-forward install, whisper quiet motor
The motor occasionally makes a subdued clicking noise upon initial power-on. I suspect this is the motor aligning itself. After about a minute, the noise goes away and the motor makes no noise, at all. No clicking, no humming, nothing. It's perfectly quiet.
This thing moves a lot of air, as well, even on the lower speeds. I attribute that to the design of the fan blades. If you turn it all the way up, it sounds a bit like the helicopter, but that would be due to the movement of air and not the motor.
The light bulbs that come with this light are 2700K, too warm for my liking, so I'll be swapping these out.
