The flooring looks great in my family room. I am so happy at how well it turned out!

I've used this for both closets in our master and have been very pleased in both cases. Key things I've learned when installing this stuff: 1) Use spacers around edges (which can simply be shims - but buy a bunch), this allows you to hammer this stuff into place 2) Cut some scrap pieces a few inches thick, cut off the groove side that overhangs, and then you can use them as blocks to hammer the pieces into place. (Place tongue side of block against groove side of flooring after you've pushed it as far as it will go by hand, then hammer block with rubber mallet up and down length of piece and it will "lay down" flat) 3) When doing a row, place new piece as close to existing piece as possible (I'm talking the short sides here) while still giving yourself a 1/16" or so to put the long side into place and tap it down. Then once you've got it flat, flip your block you cut on it's side, place it above the tongue on the short side and hammer it with your mallet. It will slowly move into the groove of the existing piece and your short sides will be flush. (This is where shims or spacers on the short side of the install is critical to maintain your space around the edge of the floor, otherwise when you start hammering it will go all the way to the wall) 4) When you get to final piece that's against a wall or cabinet and you have no room to hammer the long side it, just use a small prybar against the wall or cabinet to coax the piece flat.

My husband and I installed this in our kitchen and dinnig room area, its been past 6 months. I carefully inspect often for dent and scraches, have not seen any. Very pleased with product.

The hand scraped light hickory laminate added a modern style to my home. It was easy to install by just sliding together! I was even able to do a room by myself, it was so easy!

I purchased this flooring as part of a total home renovation and took advantage of several flooring promotions: $1.59/ft2; $.89/ft2 installation; and a Home Depot credit promotion. I had 1,500 ft2 of flooring installed on my ground floor, excluding bathrooms and kitchen. I love the wide boards, and so far, my two 100lb Labradors have not so much as made a scratch in the flooring. I highly recommend this flooring!

Was really debating hardwood vs laminate, Pergo vs other companies, etc... After looking at all options, prices, and reviews decided to go with this 12mm Hickory and could not be happier. Solid sturdy pieces, hooked together well, no problems. Did my apx 350 sq ft living room and dining room in 2 days (3 if you include a day of pulling up the old carpet and vinyl). Used 28 boxes and not a single broken or damaged plank in any of the boxes! Was amazed. All you need is the underlay pad, a hammer and the kit (with block, spacers, and metal end piece tool). Looks fantastic down and am extremely impressed with the quality and look. Says it has a 50 year warranty as well. Would definitely recommend and hope that you have the same success we had.

This flooring is Perfect. It was so hard to decide what to put down, as the samples really do not give you much to go by. When the flooring was down and the baseboard, it was a beautiful transformation. I would highly recommend this floor for a family who has a very active and busy life. It is easy to clean and absolutely the best. Please see below the before during and the remarkable after pictures.

Installed this in a town home I was selling. It turned out beautiful and the town home sold in 3 days on the market with multiple offers. Paid for itself many times over!

Obviously its not hardwood but it's a great choice if your looking for something you can do yourself, will last a long time and looks great! Once you get in a grove this stuff lays quickly and having a second person to tap the ends as you set them in is a real bonus. Make sure not to damage the boards as you tap the ends in with your block. I used the 2mm roll of plastic underlayment but I would use cork for my next project after reading so many great reviews.

We got this on a whim last month to replace an old warped pergo laminate that was in our main hall when we purchased our house 7 years ago. I had some left over tile from kitchen 2 years ago so did 3 x 3 square with glass mosaic tile we found at HD and hose this laminate to go around it. It looks nice and has large pattern so you don't really see any repeating of the grain. We used the trafficmaster underlayment and placed this over the old linoleum floor( we used blue painters tape on seams because the glue on underlayment isn't all that great). I also chose this because the thickness almost lines up with the tile height. The boards have a nice look and warm feel to the feet walking on them. Floor is quiet to walk on except where I have slight creak in my subfloor which i am going to tighten up from the basement. Do make sure you have a nice new blades for your saws as the extra thickness wears them out. I still have a little bit left to do but from the pictures you can see it's a nice looking product.

I was a little hesitant about this with zero reviews at the time of purchase, but my wife wanted this one instead of the distressed brown. Could not be happier with the results so far. Only gave a 4 for quality due to not knowing how it will hold up, but so far we've had no scratches at all with two kids and two large breed dogs playing and sliding on it. Installation was a breeze. There was more work involved in pulling out the old floor and prepping prior to install. Went through about 70 cases with no boards being damaged or having quality issues. This was my first install of laminate flooring so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I couldn't imagine how anything else could be any easier than this was to put down. Only complaint I have is I wish they would add a couple more different boards to sort through. We counted 10 different board patterns and in some places it got a little tricky of picking one that wasn't too close to a duplicate.

Can’t believe this has been discontinued! What a wonderful, sturdy floor! The click mechanism is above anything else I have used.

We really wanted this flooring to work as we loved the color. Unfortunately, after a couple hours of frustration trying to assemble a couple starter rows I gave up. It appears the boards we had were warped or bowed - tap on one end and the other would pop loose. Someone suggested assembling a full row to attach to the previous row. This is when the bowing became obvious. I should have taken a picture but the frustration level had peaked by this time and I just wanted to be done with it. Fortunately, Home Depot was very good about taking the product back. It was only then that the sales rep commented he had heard similar complaints about the same product line. Further online searches revealed this has been an ongoing problem since at least 2015. That might have been a handy piece of information to have ahead of time.

Very easy to assemble!

I've always loved hickory because of the knot and pattern streaks. It is really beautiful and exactly what I expected. I also liked the 50-year residential warranty or 7 year commercial warranty. It is just enough auburn tones and soft browns. An added bonus was moving everything out of the rooms and getting rid of things moving everything back. The floors are so nice I didn't want to hid them under excess furniture. Dealing with Home Depot online was wonderful. Always courteous and efficient.
