Nice fixture, I used a magnet to verify the frame was not steel since we have had previous fixtures rust out I also added a pull switch because these lights were wired on the same switch with the fan, but I wanted them to be independent if needed. I thought they were a little over priced

This is a great light fixture. Nice beautiful design. It comes with two light bulbs. Great black finish and nice design. It does not have any glass or hard plastic covers on the side. It is an open fixture. I like it because it does not hang like most of the new light fixtures since my ceiling is not high like most homes have. Itbis well made and sturdy

For years, we've had a "builder's special" light on our ceiling in a hallway that leads to our laundry room. There's nothing really wrong with Builder's Special light fixtures. They are meant to serve a purpose and give a new homeowner some light until they can decide on what fixture they really want. But ours was there way too long. Then we found this very nice, strong, vintage looking light that was painted matte black with antique nickel decorative sockets. The lamp included 2 warm glowing decorative bulbs and was a perfect replacement because It actually matched a few other fixtures that we've managed to hang in out kitchen and dining room. Once I found which breaker controlled that particular circuit, it only took about 30 minutes to remove the old and install the new. Nearly any style of bulb can be used provided they do not exceed 60 watts each (Incandescent, LED, CFL, etc.). They can also be dimmed. It's a very well made fixture. I'm including a couple of pictures but they're not that great. Oh, BTW: There is no glass to clean either - a definite PLUS!

The Home Decoraters Collection, Walden Forge, 2 Light Black Frame, Flush Mount Ceiling Light installed easily and quickly. I put the light up in a bathroom that I just remodeled. It looks great!. It is not a big bathroom and the light that is given off with the supplied light bulbs is perfect. Installation was easy seeing that I was just replacing a fixture that was there already. I really like this light fixture as it looks as great!

The light was easy to install the wires are all there and in order to connect with simplicity. The lights are bright (60 watts) to illuminate the entire area. I really love that it doesn't have a glass cover so it is easy to change light bulbs when necessary. The design is modern and beautiful. It is heavy (but not too heavy) and is durable and very well made. It added an elegance to my hall area. Definite 5 star quality!

This is the second one i installed in our hallway this month. But this one's installation was much easier using bamboo skewers as guides for the mounting screws descending from the ceiling bracket (see photo attached). I used 1/8" shrink tubing on the skewers with about 1/2" on the ceiling end for the screws.

We recently changed the accessories in our powder room to all flat black. This light complemented all the other accessories perfectly. Installation was a simple as most ceiling lights. The installation brackets and hardware that were included worked great for my situation. I really like the bulbs that are included with the unit, however, one of them exploded for no reason after a couple days of use so I had to get a replacement from the manufacturer. On a side note....I thought this light would have glass side panels and it does not. It surprised me, but in the end, it doesn't really matter.

Home Decorators Collection Walden Forge 2 Light Black Frame Flush Mount Ceiling Light with Antique Nickel Sockets was installed in our kitchen. I have a modern farmhouse décor style and I feel this industrial style matte black light fixture fits in perfect. I love the open matte black frame which highlights the warm light vintage bulbs. The vintage bulbs were included which are a nice bonus. Installation was easy. I am looking to add more of this type of décor to my kitchen.

This flush-mount ceiling light fixture from Home Decorators is 11.5 inches square and 5.5 inches high, with a 5 year limited warranty. It has a matte black finish, and uses a pair of 60 watt ST-58 style Edison bulbs, which are included (fixture is rated 60 watts max). There is no glass used in the sides or bottom, it’s kind of an open-cage design. Fixture is very sturdy with all-metal construction, even the bulb sockets are very sturdy. Installation is straightforward as long as there’s an existing outlet box. I put this in my 6x15 foot downstairs hallway, which has a dimmer on the switch. It provides more than enough light at less than full brightness. It looks great, and fits the existing decor well. I’m very happy with it.

This Home Decorators Collection Walden Forge 2 light black frame flush mount ceiling light with antique nickel sockets is a very stylish light that is lovely in any space. I installed this one on my screened in porch which is perfect because it is so easy to change the bulbs since there is no side covers or face plate cover on this light. You don't have to juggle with removing any glass plates to change the bulbs and looks good great with the antique Edison type light bulbs which are included with this light. Installed was very easy and it is ready to be wired in when you receive it. I put in the bulbs before I installed it which made it easy. This is a very well made and sturdy light. I am looking forward to using it for years to come.

Home Decorators Collection Walden Forge 2 Light Black Frame Flush Mount Ceiling Light with Antique Nickel Sockets One thing that made assembly and installation of this nice looking hall ceiling light easier was that the ceiling box adapter bracket and two little final nuts were pre-assembled to the fixture for shipping purposes. So there was no confusion as to which length screws are to be used to hold the light to the ceiling (see photo attached). The next photo shows the bracket detached with the final nuts re-attached. Note in this photo the relationship of the bulb sockets to the two holes through the fixture for the final nut screws. This is important if you want the sides of the light fixture parallel to your hallway walls. So secure the box bracket to your ceiling box accordingly (see third photo). It did require a second person to hold the fixture while I assembled the wire nuts even though I had secured the ground wire to its screw in the bracket to temporarily suspend the fixture. This was because my ancient supply wires were so to reach the opposite bulb’s wires. The finished product really looks great and we really like the vintage design of the bulbs and their nickeled sockets. And as you can see in the last photo, one bulb is orientated up the hall and the other down the hall (depending on your perspective). We are extremely pleased with new look this light fixture provides in our hall. It dresses up the ceiling just right.

Put this in a back hallway at our cabin, that just needed some additional soft lighting. This was perfect! The spot behind the bulbs is actually a gold reflective metal, that really reflects out a soft glow with the Edison bulbs. I also love that it did not have glass panels between the black metal frame. Looks very urban/modern and works great in our cabin back entry location with the lower ceiling heights.

I will be installing the 14 inch 2 light flushmount light in a bathroom we are remodeling. Upon initial inspection this is a stylish steel construction and appears to be well built. The fixture comes with two 60 watt Edison vintage style bulbs. I will be upgrading to LED bulbs but it is appreciated when a light comes with the bulbs. This fixture has a great retro look and goes with the other retro lights in our home.

Quality could be improved on. The metal finish has small dinks and imperfections in the paint. Barely noticeable when on the ceiling but highly noticeable in a close up. Love the style, this brought a modern touch to my hall way. The open frame gives ample light from the two bulbs. This light fixture did come with two INCANDESCENT edison bulbs, they are a very warm light, see attached photos. We swapped them out for frosted LED bulbs. We did find this very hard to install and I am a avid DIYer. The mounting bracket was very hard to line up with screw holes, while trying to keep the wires out of the way and the insulation clear that is on the backside of the light. Great light for that retro look, I just love this ceiling light fixture. Easy to install, This takes the Edison ST 58 lights which are the same base as a A19. I have noticed that since it has a max of 60 watts on the bulb that they all are on the low end of the bright scale. I bought the Edison stile LED bulbs that uses only 8W of power, although they are fairly bright they still have the amber lighting of the Edison look. The bulb was easy to install even though it has the square cage look to it. I rely do like the retro look light fixtures. This particular light fixture have look as a old NY style in large building hallways.

I got this light for my entryway. I really like the color combination of black/brass. It gives it a very rich look and the old fashion light bulbs make it rustic. It is a great size and gives off a lot of light (two 60 watt bulbs) for such a small light fixture. In the listing it states it is rustic, but I wonder if it meant for the little dents in the base (see pictures). Once I got it installed, you can't see them, but initially I was concerned. The best part of this light? NO glass to clean!!

I just purchased 2 of these to fit the decor. It provides plenty of light even though the bulbs are the Edison type. It doesn't have any problem lighting a room. Installation was easy and comparable to any other typical flushmount ceiling light. It's optional to put these on a dimmer, but I recommend it to get the full Edison bulb effect.

Well great product and it looks amazing in the room. The delivery was fast for not choosing a upgraded faster delivery.

Beautiful fixture that looks three times as expensive as it actually is. We have these in our hallways and they look incredible. 100% recommend.

This light looks amazing but unless you want your lights to constantly flicker then eventually blow up. Had it for 2 weeks and was wired in by an electrician at first it was ok then randomly started to flicker non stop at every dimmable setting. Lights themselves started to hum then it blew up. Changed the lights thinking it was bad bulbs, New lights did the same thing. So I went and bought another fixture thinking I got a dud had my electrician wire it in and immediately did the same thing.

The fixture is cool looking, I think any way. But the quality of the light coming out of the included bulbs is terrible. Luckily these are not integrated LEDs, you can just go get better bulbs.

This light is perfect for my guest bedroom. Matches the two lamps as if it was ment to be! I really like the glow it gives to the room. As for installation, I am a 73 year young lady and did it my self!

It blinks and the bulbs that came with the fixture is not bright enough

very easy to install, love the style and since it is a standard 8 ' foyer, this was the perfect light. It cast off a lot of light for such a small fixture
