Adding this review for anyone needing to replace their thermostat on a Bryant 90i (that had the Bryant TSTATBBNAC01 thermostat - see pictures). This thermostat works. Don't connect the "C" connection per the instructions. The "smart" Honeywell thermostats do use the "C" wire, apparently to provide continuous power for the WiFi. I put in two lithium AAA batteries so the tenants would have less trouble. The thermostat works fine.

Bought this thermostat for my rental property extremely easy to install. Love having the quality of Honeywell for the price also. Have tried other cheap thermostats just to be disappointed in the end. Watch me install it in a simple 2 wire replacement https://youtu.be/--NRsg2AFyw

This thermostat is non programmable. My A/C unit would not turn on with the old one. so I went and acquired this thermostat. Since it was installed the temperature stays steady and at the correct temperature. Would recommend this product.

Installed in minutes. Changed wires the same as the other one. That however was not the problem. It was in the unit that a circuit board was bad.

It is perfect of you like it plane and simple. Had a multi-function programmable thermostat and I hated it. It would always change the setting or stop, even if I reset it. This one has an on/off and temp setting, do not need anything other than that.

I would not purchase this product again nor would I recommend this product to anyone, the price is to much and this termostat has no light in the back ground making it impossible to see at night. I will be changing this device out as soon as I find the type that my home came with when we purchased it. Not worth the money.

The thermostat is basic. Just set the temperature you want and go. There is not a lot of extra buttons and settings that aren't needed.

Works perfectly. My old thermostat was old and wouldn't regulate the heat right. Half the time, the heat wouldn't come on unless I wiggled the temp button. Now, this cost saving thermostat does a great job and it was easy to install. It's simple, no frills (which I never really need), it's accurate, and my home is now heated as I expect it to be. It looks very nice on my wall, too. Totally satisfied.

Replaced our old mercury bulb thermostat with this simple, easy to install model. The direction booklet included was easy to follow in steps. I had to cover the unpainted wall from the old vertical thermostat so I utilized a white LEVITON Unbreakable 5 inch square wall plate ($1.67) to create a professional appearance under the new horizontal HONEYWELL thermostat. I had to drill and cut a hole in the wall plate and then feed the wires through it first - that took longer than to install the new thermostat. This new thermostat works way better than the old fashion one. PS - be sure to find a heating contractor that will accept the old mercury bulb thermostat for free drop-off to keep it out of our environment.

Very easy to install

Works great, was easy to install. Took less than 15 minutes. Homeowners lacking regulared scheduled time away from home don't benefit from a programmable thermostat. Of course, the "footprint" didn't match the one replaced, so the wall had to be repainted.

This thermostat has been working wonderfully for me. It doesn't wear out batteries. It's very simple to install and works as intended. It seems pretty accurate. If you have an old mechanical one you need to replace and just need basic functions this is probably the absolute best.

It was very easy to install and configure this thermostat. I don't need programmming functions because we have radiant heat and keep the temperature a constant value. I bought this thermostat to to replace one that only allowed setting the temperature and nothing to display the current temperature. At the time, figured it was unnecessary. However, when your heating system fails, you need to know how close you're getting to freezing pipes! The profile is shallow .... it's not any thicker than the nearby door trim. That's a nicer feature than the thermostat it replaced too.

After having a kitchen and bathroom remodel, I realized that I needed to replace my old thermostat in the house. The one I replaced was original to the house, so the system was approximately 40 years old. Concerned about the compatibility, I chose to go with the non-programmable unit from Honeywell. I had been told that their systems would work with most older systems. I have been extremely pleased with the result of my choice. It took only about 45 minutes for me to install this unit, and I am just a DIYer with minimal electrical experience. I love the fact that it does NOT have all the bells and whistles. It shows the current temperature of the house, but when you decide to raise or lower the temp, it immediately shows what the thermostat is set to and what you are setting it at. I have had no problems with it handling my old wiring. I'm very pleased with this unit.

Came with installation documents that were easy to follow. Small wire marking stickers are a nice touch. You just check to what your letters connector your old wires are connected (they are marked like R, W, RC , etc) and put sicker on the wires so you don't get mixed up. Note the orientation of the device. My old one was the same dimensions, but vertical, so I'll be putting a couple more holes in the wall, but that is fine. Simple product that works for me, I only need the heat setting, so can't attest to the cooling setting.

I just needed a basic on- off thermostat for a small room and this did the job. No issues

So easy to use, better than those programmable types! Why complicate things!

Easy to install And works well

The thermostat fell apart when I took the front cover off. The display glass fell to the floor as soon as I pulled the front cover off to install thermostat.
