Put it up and has a rubbing sound. Balanced and did all the appropriate steps to secure it in the attic. Poor quality. Disappointed as I had a hard time finding this style.

Had it for under a year and it stopped working. Took it down and found the wire burned in half. Do not buy this fan So glad it didn't catch my house on fire

This thing is noisy from the start bought this to replace in a house I'm renting because original one went bad. I would recommend you buy something better the one light doesn't bother me but the operation is horrible not even remotely quiet.

I ordered four of these. It is attractive, sturdy, and suits my living room much better than my previous fan with light. I love that this is closer to the ceiling, as my son no longer hits his head on the chandelier light than the old fan. Another perk: it comes with an LED bulb and uses only one, so once I replace all 4 of my ceiling fans I will undoubtedly use less electricity. It’s affordable and energy efficient!

Great Ceiling Fan , it cools the room very good. I did not self install ( electrician ) and it’s way better than my first options ! ! ! Also, the quality of lightning is by far exceeds my expectations. Price AMAZING

Great little fan. Time consuming to assemble, but no longer than any other fan would have been. It's very quiet, thankfully because it was installed in my master bedroom. The only complaint that I have is that there is only one lightbulb attachment and it's over to one side of the dome (not centered), so when the light is on, it's not illuminated evenly and half the dome is dark/shaded.

The Fan is absolutely wonderful. Very well made and a GREAT PRICE! I look to buy another one in the future!

Shipping was fast from Home Depot, however once we got the fan installed we noticed the fan motor wasn’t functioning properly. We attempted to troubleshoot to ensure it wasn’t user error but we realized it was in deed the a defect. We returned the fan the next day in store and purchased a floor fan.

For the price, this is an excellent ceiling fan. Took about 20 minutes to install with easy to follow instructions. It also looks very nice and circulates air wonderfully in the bedroom.

Worst ceiling fan I've ever installed -- been up for a year the bracket was so thin that the fan bounced I had to add additional stiffening between the bracket and ceiling (yes its a proper ceiling fan box with a 2x4 above as well (added that thinking it was the box at first) today I took it down and not only did some of the screws strip trying to remove it the fan motor was so hot that I think it might be a fire hazard as well

Looks great and works perfect. Some noise on one of the fans. I bought four.

Easy to install. It WAS a good fan, I'm fine with the brightness of the light. I prefer pull strings over a remote. But after a year this thing is LOUD. Like so loud I don't turn the fan on anymore. Seems to wobble now if you push the light to the side, the sound gets quieter, but you can't keep the light fixture like that. The clicking and grinding sounds is too much.

Great little fan. Would buy again. Pretty quiet. Good for smaller rooms, not master bedroom. Go bigger for that.

The fan is sleek fits our space perfectly. We replaced an old outdated light in our kitchen with this fan and it does a great job of circulating the air. The only thing I will need to change is the light, its a warm white and is just too dim but that's an easy switch!

Installed in rental house, works okay but looks cheap, because it is cheap. As long as you aren’t expecting high quality this gets the job done for minimal cost.

I had a fan in my kitchen to go out after 17 plus years and came across this low-cost fan from Home Depot. I unpacked, laid out all parts, including the "plastic dome"(not glass) and 60watt / 9watt usage bulb, read the instructions, and believe me this was a simple task, If you have installed fans before then you should have no problems, but first-timers just read the instructions. Great fan, will probably get a couple more.

I have bought 3 of these fans and absolutely love them! Easy to install, look beautiful and keep the room cool and well lit while in use! They are quiet when in use. I am actually going to buy another one for another room in my house! Beyond meets my expectations and would totally recommend for anyone!

I bought the Hugger 44in. LED indoor Oil Rubbed Bronze Ceiling light and fan kit for my bedroom. I have slanted ceiling so had to have one that was able to be close to ceiling without hitting it when put up and this fit the bill. It didnt take my son very long to wire it up and get it all set up for me. I would say it took him 25 mins. I like that the paddles are 2 different tones and that the kit comes with everything including the light bulb. This is perfect width too and puts off a lot of air when fan is running. I was so impressed with how quiet it was but after awhile it started making this ticking sound. My son said the wires inside shifted and needed to moved so they wont be in way when the fan is on. So that fixed the problem. I wasnt sure how bright the light would be but was impressed with the brightness and even with the plastic cover. I am very pleased.

The flush mount Hugger 44in fan is great for rooms where you need extra height. This low-profile design is perfect. The blades are mahogany on one side and a matte black on the other. We chose to use the matte black. The “opal frosted dome light fixture” is plastic. The 9 Watt LED blub that was provided did not put off enough light for what we needed. We wanted brighter light for the room, so we put in a higher wattage daylight dimmable LED bulb. The motor hanging feature that holds motor while you are wiring is extremely helpful. Quite easy to install. The way the wiring is done made it hard to get all the wires covered but once all packed in it was a breeze to finish. Love the matte Black Fan Color. The motor is not quiet. It has a clicking sound that eventually gets on your nerves. There is little wobble. An adequate fan for smaller rooms.

THE HUGGER 44 IN. LED INDOOR MATTE BLACK CEILING FAN WITH LIGHT KIT Very nice fan that is the right size for my application, i wanted a smaller blade fan for a bedroom in my walkout basement and this one is perfect. This fan is black and with LED lights it will look great in there. I am just waiting on my electrician to finish the wiring for the room then i can install it. I have installed other fans from HUGGER and they are easy to install with good directions but its always easier with two people.

THE HUGGER 44 IN. LED INDOOR MATTE BLACK CEILING FAN WITH LIGHT KIT is pretty much made for a low ceiling and a small space. the LED light, which I like is really a small size and with a plastic globe it warns on a larger size being used so I would not try to use a larger bulb. It comes with a 9 Watt LED bulb. One great thing it comes with a phone number to call if you need help and it's a Home Depot number. It's parts list make it a little more complicated to install that some other fans.

The Hugger 44-inch low profile indoor ceiling fan provides extra head room as it hangs down less than a foot from the ceiling. This fan has a mount that is designed to eliminate the down rod found in most fans. The matt black finish blends with most decors, and the fan has a modern look to it. The blades are reversible, with a matt black or mahogany dark brown wood grain look. Five blades provide a 44-inch tip to tip dimension, perfect size for a bedroom or medium/smaller sized room. Assembly and wiring are straight forward. Most difficult time I had was installing the light kit and getting the screws to start – but overall it took about 45 minutes including removing old fan. Light kit accepts a LED standard bulb – use a dimmable bulb – and it has a frosted white plastic globe. A 9W LED equivalent to a 60-watt incandescent bulb was included. Motor has three speeds and is reversible. Operation was quiet – no hum at any speed. Overall a very nice, quiet, and effective fan that is perfect for height challenged rooms or where you like the hugger look!

This light is very nice. I love the low profile of it and the ease of installation. My neighbor was kind enough to install it on my ceiling and he was happy with the ease of putting it in. I love it he look of it and ,of course, the fan. It will definitely be put to good use during this hot summer. I had it installed in a bedroom. I like the LED light as it put a lot of light out without using a lot of energy.

Fairly easy to install. Looks great with reversible fan blades in different finishes. The pull chains having light and fan fobs is a bonus. It whirrrrs when it's running, which was a little disconcerting at first. We replaced a dated light fixture (1980s at best) with this little fan.

This Hugger 44-inch LED indoor matte black ceiling fan with light kit in my opinion, is the easiest ceiling fan I have ever installed. The fan blades are reversable if you want the Mahogany wood look instead of the Matte black. One bit of caution I would like to express, is that you do not want to put very much pressure on tightening the screws that hold the fan blades to the mounting brackets. I twisted the head off of one of the screws. Lucky for me, a spare screw was included. Just tighten them enough for a snug fit. You can check the screws once a year to make sure they do not loosen up. Over all, I would say it is a nice-looking, quiet running ceiling fan.

So far it seems to be a nice fan 42 inch wide in the blade I did change the bulb that came with it the wall was a 9 watt 27 K on the color I changed it to a 5000k better light does seem to be working better the latest much cleaner to Fan moves on good amount of hair for a 42-inch it's quiet it doesn't rattle much so far it seems to be working rather well I would recommend this for anybody looking to buy a 42in ceiling fan

Attractive ceiling light with low profile light. All the materials, including the fan arms are lightweight. The only piece with weight is the fan motor, which is unavoidable. The biggest plus of this unit is the low profile light, only a few inches below the fan motor. If you have a low ceiling, this would be a good choice. While the lightweight nature of the pieces help with installation, I wonder how it will hold up over time.

Hugger 44 inch LED indoor Matte black ceiling fan with light kit is a great fan for the price. Low profile mounting system works well on low ceilings. The blades are reversible with a matte black on one side and a mahogany finish on the other side. Comes with all hardware needed to install this fan . This is an indoor fan however I did put this up on my porch since no weather will touch it , turn on the fan when I sit out there to move air around on a humid night. It would help to have two people there to hand items up to you as you assemble this fan. It is a 3 speed fan and one changes the speed with the pull on the chain . A dimmer switch will NOT WORK on this fan ( to control the speed or dim the light ) This is a basic 3 wire hookup ( black, white , green wire or a bare wire for the ground. There are two pull chains on this ( one to light up the 9 watt medium standard base LED bulb which comes with this fan and the other pull chain to control the speed of the fan , high, medium and low ) The fan weighs about 11 pounds and the bracket of the fan can hook up to the bracket mounted in the ceiling for easy hookup so you don't have to hold the motor part up as you wire it in. I was surprised as I put the fan on high it was very quiet. The fan also have a switch on the side of the housing to reverse the flow of air blowing downward or upward. Comes with easy instructions and a 15 year warranty. Great looking fan and moves air around in a room. The 9 watt LED light that comes with this fan gives off a nice light to gently light up a small bedroom ( 10 x 10 ) or similar room. The light bulb can be replaced if you wish. The only back draw on this fan to me was the plastic dome that covers the light . I thought it should have been made of glass but it looks fine and looks like frosted glass but isn't, no one would tell it's plastic unless you mentioned it to them. For a 44 inch fan with a light kit and a LED bulb for under 50 bucks you can't go wrong.
