This fan fits my Scandinavian office vibe well. We did have an issue with the receiver for the remote, it blew up after turning back on the breaker so hunter sent us a replacement. We also then had trouble with the manual - for us, we needed to connect it to a different wire in our home (red versus black) for the power to get to the fan. We also didn’t receive the right screws to install the remote into the light switch so it’s just been sitting on my desk but other than that, it’s fine now. Relieved to have figured it all out and now we like it.

Difficult to reverse the fan direction
The remote doesn't allow you to reverse the fan direction. The switch to reverse the fan direction inside the globe. The is very inconvenient. I bought 5 and the builder has installed them. I would not have bought them if I had understood this oversight up front.

Hello, yes, the reverse switch is located inside the light fixture to change the airflow direction. It can only be accessed when the glass is removed, then slide the reversing switch to the opposite position. Please refer to page 17 in the owner's manual. Thumbs up overall
Installation was easy as I hired someone to install it. Fan setting on 2 is breezy enough for my husband and I overnight. The light is ok but the shade is either too dark or the lumens too dim. I love the remote feature but don’t like the bright blue light it emits during use. The remote is plastic and doesn’t seem like quality. I know Hunter isn’t in the business of making remotes. Great fan overall and very happy. I recommend this fan. We use it in a 14x13 bedroom.

Looks great, dim light
Love Hunter fans, they are the only brand that I buy. Unfortunately, I bought two of these fans for great room intending to buy more for bedrooms. Installed first one and it looks great, super sleek, runs quiet. Turned on the light and it is way too dim even with dimmer all the way up. Replaced bulbs with daylight bulbs which helped some but not enough. Glass cover does not allow enough light to pass. Looks like I'm stuck with 2 dim fans in great room. Will have to find alternate fans for bedrooms. Disappointing!

Good looking. Relatively easy to install. Has a switch to pull air up or push air down. I got it for mosquitoes on my front porch. Seems like it will work for that but installed after most mosquitoes were gone.

Used same style throughout house. Dempsey style is available as “low profile”, indoor/outdoor & also one that can be used with an extension rod. Just what I was looking for. And it’s a Hunter which usually means high quality. Very pleased.

Buy a different brand
I gave it one star because there are no zero stars. I’m returning it this weekend because it developed a loud noise. I returned the first one because it had an electrical burning smell when I turned it on for the first time. Stay away from this brand. Hunter is not what it used to be !

Great Look, Significant Problem
Our certified electrician installed 3. For 2 of the 3 fans installed, the receivers didn't work...so we'll wire it to a wall switch. If you would plan to use the remote/receiver, I would probably recommend selecting a fan with a different receiver.

Install was a bit of a pain compared to other Hunter models, but it looks great in the room. It has two LED bulbs but a little disappointed in the light output. Thought it would be brighter.

The issue is that due to the frequency on each remote it appears to interfere with each fan when 2 or more are on. The fan and the light will randomly turn off for a few seconds then turn back on.

Sadly, this lovely fan didn’t work for our vaulted, sloped ceiling. If you need a downrod for installation, this fan won’t work for you, the wires aren’t long enough. It is truly “low profile”
So I had to return but still recommend
