We love the fan. It is attractive and low profile for our small guest bedroom. My only compliant is unlike other Hunter fans we bought with remotes, they provided no wall mount for the remote control. We have no place to put the remote in the room that people will find so now I have to find and purchase a way to mount on the wall near the original light switch in the bedroom.

This ceiling fan installed easily, about 30-40 minutes. The look is modern and clean. Low noise, and amazing airflow. Light is adjustable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is modern without being too modern and can fit in a variety of rooms. With 4 blades, it doesn’t look too modern and the choice of a grayish color fan blade and a dark brown fan blade side it can match any room. It was easy and straight forward to install. I knocked it one star because the light bothers me. It has a dimmer on the switch but you can’t just turn it brighter, you have to go all the way dim, completely turn it off, and then go back up to the brightness you want. Every single time.

I couldn’t find the size I wanted in store so ordered it online. It arrived in good time. I had it installed and we all love it. It’s smart looking, clean lines, and runs well. We have 8 foot ceilings, the Snugger is perfect. The only thing I didn’t realized when I bought it was that the remote doesn’t reverse the blades for winter, summer; the light has to be removed to turn the switch. The blades are a black / dark brown option. We chose Dark brown and it looks great with our Jacobean stained floors.

Quiet three speed with a good air flow on the high speed for our bedroom. I hoped to use both the wall piece and the remote piece, but we had to choose only one. I guess poor research on my part.

Not all self installs work well. I tried to install the Dempsey after a relatively easy install of a Cassius model. Initially the Dempsey was easy, until all of the assembly and I went to attach the last screw holding the fan to the ceiling mounting plate, and the ceiling mounting plate screws hole would not accept the screw. I disassembled the entire fan and tried to get any leftover screw into the hole, and could not. The fan is mounted to the ceiling, but isn’t level due to the missing screw. The fan works great, is quiet and efficient, it just looks like it isn’t quite right.

Easy to install. Very quiet. If you have old fans these are more modern by far. They change the look of the room.

The fan works really well. I purchased two of these, one for the living room and another for the bedroom. The installation was easy. The hanging bracket was by far the best hanging bracket I have ever seen. Wow what a difference. The fan operates flawlessly. it doesn't even shake at high speed. The lowest speed is really quiet. You cant even hear it. The 2nd and 3rd obviously you can hear it a little but keep in mind I shut everything off and really focused on the fan so don't count that against it. I'm just telling the reasonable truth. The downside is kind of nit picking but again; honesty is policy here. The color of the remote is a creamy off white color. Its not a true white that matches the fan. I thought this was kinda of a way to cut corners maybe and not make it a true bright white like the fan. Second, on the fan you can see the logo pop out way to much. What I mean by pop out is that the fan is white but the logo is a polished dark nickle to black color. Why in the world? Such a perfect fan and they did those 2 things that way. Theyre minor details that I can live with. However, I will add that I'm buying 2 more for the other 2 rooms in the house. I just had my 52 inches Dempsey Fan installed and it works as expected. Elegant, quiet and efficient. I love the way it looks in my bedroom. My only problem was that the lights dimming feature was not working, but there is a posting in the Hunter website which explains how to fix that. So all works very well. This is my sixth Hunter Fan (three in my previous house and three on my new house) I love the quality and how quiet these Hunter Fans work.

Just had one installed in a concrete ceiling - looks great, blows a lot of air, no hum or smell so far. Can't comment on ease of installation as we had a professional installer, but it certainly didn't take him long. Posting this only to share info about the dimmer - it did not work and there's nothing in the manual. . However I found a review with the following instructions: Turn wall switch off and back on. On remote, hold down 0 then hit light button twice. Worked for me. Hope this saves you some time and annoyance. Update, Hunter just called me back and explained that the dimmer is set to off and needs to be turned on as above, and that they get many calls about this. Hopefully they will be updating the manual to include these instructions.

Easy to install. Instructions are clear. Fan & light operate as advertised via the remote: Fan is quiet; LED light illuminates the area. Good deal all the way around.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Dempsey Low Profile 52in with light about a week ago. Had it installed and it is beautiful. It doesn't hang down as low as my old one but works better at circulating air. My only complaint is it seems that when I use the remote and put the fan on 3, the fastest speed, the lights tend to flicker once in a while. Other than that, it is very quiet on all speeds, easy to install and very nice looking.

This fan is quiet, smooth and effective. When installed, there are no visible screws or switches, which makes for an elegant look. The included remote is cheap looking and even if not, would date the fan quickly. We opted to NOT install the remote receiver, rather use the excellent Lutron Maestro C-L (P/N #MACL-LFQH-WH). Unfortunately, Hunter's guidance is that this fan MUST use the included remote and transmitter "because it does not have pull chains" rather than an external wall switch. This incorrect guidance almost led us to another manufacturer, but I researched it enough to deternime that it works without issue with an external control. Although we have not had it installed long, it is as quiet as any ceiling fan we've had. It did not require any balancing, and there is no percepible vibration at any speed (I ran it to all speeds with a light touch on the light globe to check for vibrations). The LED lighting is effective, the standard A19 bulbs are 800 lumen 3000K temperature which matches our Globe LED recessed lighting perfectly. The fan meets out needs perfectly. My only recommendation would be for Hunter to amend their guidance regarding integrating wall-mounted remotes. The Dempsey fan paired with the Lutron C-L control is a wonderful combination.

I paid my electrician to come out and set up this ceiling fan only to find out the base of the fan was not constructed properly. There should be four slots for each of the four fan blades to come out of the base, and mine only had four. This fan cost me more than the $199 sticker price. I get to pay my electrician for TWO trips out to my house. Thanks for NOTHING Hunter.

Beautiful white fan. Remote control is a must these days. The only thing I changed were the bulbs. Since the glass cover is a bit thick, 60w bulbs were not bright enough. 100w LEDs did the trick. The fact that is dimmable is a plus.

We love the final product. It looks beautiful hanging in our bedroom. We had to actually get someone in to install it because we just couldn't figure it out. So many wires.. the instructions absolutely should be improved upon because they're not so good.. But a great looking fan very functional and I love the remote control option.

Buyer Beware! Warranty can only be claimed if you kept your receipt! My motor stopped working after 10 years and my receipt can’t be read (a case of vanishing ink). Seems to me that the fact that I own a Hunter fan is evidence enough that I purchased it!!! If Hunter truly stood behind its products they would not require a receipt to honor their warranty. 🤔

Quiet efficient decorative

Picked up from store. Arrived exactly as promised. Fans have been up and running for 2 weeks. Easy install. Nice and quite. Disappointed remote saddles are not included.

Wonderful fan. Instructions were easy to follow. Had to pay close attention to wiring in the controller. Seems like Hunter could have pre installed / wired the controller into the light housing and made things a little easier for the do it yourselfer. All in I'm happy with the fan.

This fan was purchased to replace a 37 year old Hunter fan that had started to make noises during the night. Both are 52" four bladed fans. The old fan had what was referred to as a "schoolhouse" enclosure covering the single LED bulb. We were always comfortable with the old fan running at either low or medium speed, depending on the season. We find that we have to run the new one at high speed to get the equivalent airflow sensation. The light fixture on the old fan produced significantly more light than the new one. At its brightest setting, the new one brings a dark room to a level that could best be described as twilight. I have yet to check to see if brighter bulbs are available without risking an overload. On the plus side, the new fan is significantly quieter than the old one. The remote control (purchased separately) works very well but rests loosely in its wall mounted holder, causing it to wiggle when its buttons are pushed.

Prewired house had no lights or ceiling fans in bedrooms. These worked just fine.
