What can you say about a socket ? How often do you need an 1 1/4 " socket ? Like any tool, you never need it until you need it. And if you need a socket you need all the sizes. This is an impressive heavy duty socket. I'd probably strip the ratchet before over stressing any part of the socket. I do believe this is the size of my lawnmower blade nut too but it's too cold in Maine right now for me to go out and double check.
Holly moley. This thing is huge and heavy and good looking. Can’t wait to add this to my tool shed.

Can’t wait to add this to my tool shed.So nice and convenient, saves you a bunch of time depending on your skill level not having to change chucks. Don't have to switch from one socket to another and when you are deep in work this can be very frustrating. This socket is deep enough for most all applications. i.e., dead end shoes in linework and anything else that’s need for this bolt size. Large enough not to lose but very heavy, so don’t drop it on your toe unless you have steal toe or composite toe shoes. You’re welcome.

This HUSKY 1/2 in. Drive 1-1/4 in. 12-Point Deep Socket looks to be pretty good. I don't often need to use a 1-1/4 in. socket, and the only one I have is not a deep one. There have been a few occasions when a deep socket would have been better for the task at hand. I don't have any projects requiring the use of a 1-1/4 in. socket right now, but the time will come that I'll be glad I got it. The finish is chrome which will make it easy to clean (I hate dirty tools). I did notice a couple of dings in the end, but it doesn't look like they'll cause a problem with fit. The only thing that concerns me is that, if it dents that easily before its even used, it may be a bit on the soft side. Wrenching on something that big may require enough torque to break a soft socket, or round off the points which would cause a rounded bolt head or nut. Time and use will tell.

I have a preference for Husky products due to their quality and lifetime warranty. This SAE 1 1/4 inch 12-point socket has been tested and will continue to be tested on nuts and bolts on my backhoe and tractor. I often use a long cheater bar on this socket and it continues to stay strong and do the job. The socket packaging reflects it to be made in China.
Good deep reach 3" sockets with large, easy to read sizes stamped in the sides
These Husky deep reach sockets are a great addition to any tool chest. The sockets are 3" long to provide extra reach in hard to access spots. The sockets are hollow and can accomodate about 2 to 2 1/2" of access where nuts are at the bottom of a longer threaded stud. The sockets also have a 12 point design which makes it easier to locate them on the nut, particularly if you're working in a hard to reach spot.
Perhaps the best feature for me is that the size markings are engraved in large numbers on the sides, which makes it easy to grab the correct sized socket. They're chrome plated for extra protection and to make it easier to wipe them down to keep them clean.
The sockets are available in both SAW and metric sizes.
In SAE, the sizes are 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 13/16" and 7/8"
In metric the sizes are 13mm, 14mm, 15mm, 17mm, 18mm and 19mm
Best of all, they have a lifetime guarantee.
Great deep socket for the price - may not be impact rated but with hand tools this should be fine.

tough
This socket is tough, i used it to break an anode rod loose on a 5 year old water heater. I had to use a 6 foot lead pipe on my breaker bar and it stayed true to the bolt. Highly recommend!
