This is a nice set that covers many different needs when it comes to selection and uses for tools. It has torx, allen head, security torx bits, and square bits. The 1/4 drive and 3/8 drive availability is also a nice feature. There are short and long bits, while not in every size it has most of the commonly used sizes. It comes in a sturdy hard plastic case, just make sure to open the right way or you'll be picking up bits, one side snaps into place the other side does not.

The Husky 1/2 in. Drive Torx Hex Bit Socket Set 11-Piece is a great set. These are not cheap they are an upper great set they can compete with the top brands. Heavy duty fit like a glove on my 1/2 inch drive ratchet. They came with a storage rail even though it's made of plastic it is also heavy duty and does a great job keeping them organized. This torx bit set also comes with a life time warranty. I would definitely recommend this set for your self or as a gift.

The Husky one half inch drive torx bit set fills in where other sets fail too. You get a larger drive for that extra torque required on some longer bolts. Half of the set is tamper proof torx bits so you should have everything covered. My only gripe would be that these are not duplicate sets. The standard torx bit set is missing a t55 i believe. Other than that it is just what i was looking for.

Ordered the 1/2 inch drive torx bit socket set to work on my motorcycle that has a lot of torx fasteners. I needed the half inch drive to be able to apply more torque than I could with the folding bits I had been using. The 11 piece set is very rugged and comes with 6 tamper proof bits and 5 standard bits. There are four common sizes among the tamper proof and standard bits so you essentially have 7 different sizes in the set. A storage rail is included which a nice way to keep the set organized and readily available. I like that the smooth chrome sockets are easy to clean grease or grime off with a rag. I also like that the bits are chamfered slightly on each end which makes it easier to get the bit on the socket wrench and the bit on the fastener. The set is a very nice addition to my tool box and comes with a lifetime warranty. Highly recommended for these purposes.

I am very impressed with Husky's 68 piece Master Hex and Torx bit set. The hard plastic case is not your typical case where sockets float around inside. This case secures very tight with two front clasps with an additional clasp on each side which keeps it very secure. I have been slowly adding Husky tools to my tool collection and have been nothing but satisfied. This Hex and Torx set is very well made, has SAE and MM sizes and they range from short to long sizes. A great addition and must have set. I highly recommend. Great quality and heat treated for strength.

The Husky master hex and torx bit socket set covers a wide range of sizes. The set has SAE and MM with 1/4 and 3/8 drive options. There are 6-inch long 1/4 drive torx bits ranging from T8 to T30 then jumping to 1/2 drive 6 inch long for torx bits T40 to T50 for a total 10. The remaining 7, 6-inch 3/8 drive bits are hex ranging from 4mm to 10mm in size. The short torx sockets range from T8 to T27 in 1/4 drive with solid point and T8 to T30 hollow point in 1/4 drive. The torx then jumps to 1/2 drive for T30 to T55 solid point and T30 to T55 hollow point. The hex 1/4 drive sockets run from 2.5mm to 6mm and jump to 1/2 drive and run from 6mm to 10mm. The 1/4 drive hex bits then run from 1/8 to 1/4 and jump to 1/2 drive for 7/32 to 3/8 sizes. The set it rounded out with 1/4 drive E4 to E8 sockets and 1/2 drive E10 to E15 sockets. The carrying case is nice with 4 latches to keep in securely fastened. Be careful to have the case right side up when opening as only the 6 inch bits are secured in the case. Otherwise you will have a mess when you open it with the short bits going everywhere. For this reason I dropped the rating to 4 stars overall, as it seems that Husky failed on the case design.

This is the most comprehensive set of Torx and Hex bits in my tool collection. It has both ¼” drive as well as ⅜” drive sockets. It doesn’t come with a ratchet or breaker bar handle, but it’s likely that if you’re shopping for this set, you don’t need to waste resources on a handle as you probably have several already. What isn’t shown in the catalogue is the blow molded case that this set comes in. The case is average quality and opens and closes without dropping any pieces. This case is so good for keeping up with the sockets and making the correct size easy to locate. This set includes long reach torx bits and ball drive hex keys in a variety of sizes and ⅜” drive. It also includes the female torx sockets. I’ve encountered these fasteners a handful of times and in the past i’ve had to use the double nut technique to back out studs of this type. These sockets will help out a lot. The chrome-plating is flawless and polished. The stems are firmly seated in the sockets and won’t drop out. I can’t say enough about the fantastic quality of this set. For the record, all of my Husky mechanic type tools purchased in the last 10 years have been the benchmark of quality.

I have to give this a big THUMBS up! Made from S2 steel you know it is rugged. Has every imaginable size and type of bit including the hard to find ETorx 6 point sockets for general mechanical needs. All items take either a 1/4 inch or 3/8 inch ratchet. Sizes are too numerous to list but the products description picture does show them. Fitment is excellent. All in a very rugged high impact carrying case. This is just what the doctor ordered for all those weird fastener issues.

This set contains the following sizes: SAE: 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 3/4" Metric: 10, 12, 14, 17, 19mm They are beefy and solid, so if they have the size you need, they should do the trick. If you are looking for the smaller sizes shown in the HD photo as of Oct. 2020, look for a different set.

Product arrived safe and well-packaged. The hex bits are solid ‘tool steel’ and the part that is attached to the bit itself is very strong. The bits themselves are varied in the common small sizes less than .25 in. (Quarter-inch drive) and appear to be a good grade of hardened steel resulting in strong durability. I have had various Husky tools for many decades and I have never been disappointed by the quality of workmanship. I still have all of them. The plastic holder is a bit loose so get a steel or magnetic one.

Cheaply made, just like all Husky "tools". Broke like a toothpick.

Allen patent for recessed hex-driven safety screws filed back in 1909. These need to be attached to a 1/4" drive socket or drive extension. The drive socket connects to the polished chrome portion of each hex bit unit. There is a nice detent to keep the bit attached to your drive socket if it has a ball detent. The labeling on the package saying "Chamfered Lead-in Bit for Fast and Easy Placement Onto Drive Tools and Fasteners" is a bit confusing, This is the the hex bit and would be placed on the hex fastener, not onto a drive tool. I think it would be clearer to say "Chamfered Lead-in for Easy Placement Onto Hex Fasteners". The storage rail isn't particularly robust - the bits fall of it very easily. I like the Lifetime Warranty and assume Home Depot will honor this in the future (if needed).

These allen wrench sockets sure are handy for the DIYer. Sometimes an allen bolt will be in a place that is dificult to get to with an allen wrench which means that you can only turn it a little bit and then have to remove the sllen wrech to reposition it. With one of these on a ratchet you don't have to remove it, but merely wratchet it which means much faster removal or installation. Thats also handy for allen bolts that are easy to get to.

Needed some Torx bits so I decided to try the Husky brand. I like how the tips are part of the socket, much harder to loose that way. I would like it a bit more if it had a hole in the storage rail to hang it up. I guess it's nothing a drill can't fix. It's made in China but quality seems good enough that the pieces won't strip out easily, guess time will tell. Right now I would surely recommend this product.

First look you see the size in nice large engraved print. This really helps grabbing the right size hex bit. These fit well in all of my 1/4" ratchets. I also like the handy holder it comes with so I don't mix up my metric from my US. I also like how long each socket and bit are. I will spend less time requiring an extension. This would be a good purchase for a DYI, or pro.

This eight piece hex bit socket set came in handy on more than one project around the house since we got it. I do not really have anything to complain about, we keep it in a small compartment in the toolbox but I guess if we didn't I would complain the little piece to hold them does not hold them very well. We love the husky brand, have not had to use the warranty on anything yet.

This metric torx bit socket set is a perfect replacement for allen wrenches. The set attaches to any 1/4 inch socket wrench. It would have been nice if the set came in a container that closed, since over time the plastic storage rail could start to break down. The set comes with the following male torx drivers: 4mm-10mm and the following female sockets: T8, T9. T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, and T30. I have full confidence using this torx bit socket set for many future projects; and they are backed by a lifetime warranty from Husky.

I never owned a set of torx bit sockets although I could have used a set on numerous occasions. Glad I made the decision to go with the Husky brand. Now I can do all the jobs I want with these quality made sockets and do it right. Multiple places to use these as a lot of torx heads are standard on various products. Great to have option of 1/4 handle or wrench and the lifetime warranted chrome sockets are top quality. No more stripped heads with the chamfered bits.

This is the first bit set I’ve seen with the E-Torx sockets, a nice addition; along with the T-27 bit, which usually I don’t usually see in a standard set. The finish on all of the socket bases is chrome which makes them easy to keep clean, The finish on the bits themselves appears to be bead-blasted with no observable quality issues of tips. The socket locks very securely onto a 1/4” adapter. I opted to place them in a 1/4” socket adapter and hit driver on the drill and get to my stuck on/off switch in the shop vacuum. Made quick work of all 12 screws. Performance was as expected; worked flawlessly on the T-25 screws. The chamfered ends make it easy to get the bit seated fully and doesn’t cause them to stick inside the head, which can slow you down. I did notice a slight wobble of the bit tips and placed only the socket in my drill to spin a few without the bit driver attached. They’re not 100% centered, but they don’t wobble enough to make it a real issue unless you’re doing very precise work. This could lead to bit round-out though.

I really needed a Torx socket set that would be portable to keep on my European motorcycle and this worked perfectly. The package is miss marked so don't be fooled. I really like the included storage rail to keep all of the pieces together. The chamfered lead in is a great feature so that you get the Torx bit right into place without fear of scratching up a body panel or other part of your work area. I have bought other Husky tools and I have never had any issues with durability and longevity. Buy with confidence!

Ever run into one of those fasteners that aren't like a Phillips or Slotted screw head? Yep, it's probably a torx bit, one of the most evil inventions ever foisted on mankind to this day. If you've ever run into one of these and you just HAD to get a project done, you know how frustrating it can be to not have the right shaped fitting. No, sticking a screwdriver in and hoping it catches just isn't going to cut it, especially if it's a tight fit. This Torx Bit Socket Set from Husky has you covered. Not only does it have the male torx drivers (4mm-10mm), but it also has the complementary set of female sockets (T8, T9, T10, T15, T20, T25, T27, and T30), which I have heretofore not run into yet, but I knew that I someday would if I did not buy the complete set. This is an excellent 1/4 in. Drive SAE Hex Bit Socket Set. There are 8 pieces, including a nice holder strip, so they don't roll around loose in my toolbox. They seem to be well made, very heavy and solid construction. You have a good assortment of bits to use depending upon the project you have in mind. Now I won't have to drive twenty or thirty miles to a hardware store when I need a particular bit.
