The adjustment knob is a little rough when turning. Other than that it works great.

This regulator seems to operate properly, and will be an adequate, low cost replacement for the original regulator that came on my Porter-Cable air compressor. Installation is straightforward and easy; follow the arrows cast into the body to identify the inlet and outlet ports. Testing after installation showed that the regulator tracks demand on increasing pressures, and requires only a few seconds to adjust on decreasing pressures. No leaks, included gage is adequate and snubbed (no fluctuations). The one problem I found is that it adjusts from 7 psig to 105 psig, and not the 200 psig stated in the product description. Although there are no warnings on the packaging, make sure you use pipe joint compound rather than Teflon tape on the regulator inlet connection.

Very nice investment
First off this regulater is great. It works very well. The adjusting nob turns easy when needed to be adjusted. I have it set up for my air brush. that way im not running all the way back to the big air compressor. It regulates the pressure very well and does not surge. i am only putting 90 psi to it so it does not have to do a lot. I would recommend this to anyone but dont feed it a bunch of pressure.
The old gauge on my compressor had been broken for many years. I used to guess on the pressure by trial and error...and lots of blown seals on my nail gun. It is really nice to have an accurate gauge. It was simple to replace. Just used some Teflon tape and I was in business. Don't know why I didn't buy one sooner. It has a 1/4 in. NPT inlet and outlet and can be adapted for replacement use on most portable air compressors. Says it can handle up to 200 PSI.
I have a small air compressor that I've had for many years. I use it as a hobby compressor mostly for my air brush. It always seemed to put out a non-steady flow of air. Almost pulsated. So I saw this regulator and decided to give it a try. It is small enough to use with this compressor and it has solved my problem of pulsating air. It is easy to mount and use. So far it is doing the job I wanted it to do. Good price.
The air compressor that serves my shop is managed by another department and they keep it at 175 PSI. This is way too much pressure for my air tools. So I am making up regulated hoses for each of my air outlets. I have installed this at the male end of one of my hoses. The regulator connects directly to 1/4 IP fitting on the end of the hose and the male chuck end threads into the inlet of this regulator.
I installed a separate gauge on the outlet hose and confirmed that this regulator's gauge is reading accurately. Turning the knob quickly dials in the desired pressure. Because I am attaching this to the end of a hose, rather than "permanently" mounting it to the supply line, I am concerned that it will be damaged when I disconnect the hose and stow it in a tool box, but I would have the same concern with any other regulator in this application as well, anyway, it is unlikely that I will be frequently removing this hose.
Now that I have tested this out, I will buy 3 more to make up hoses to fit each of the air outlets in the shop.
I do have one small issue. When the threads were tapped for the pressure gauge, the machinist in Shenzhen or Huizhou, or wherever, was a bit sloppy. The tap was not run in square and consequently the threads are cockeyed by about 10 degrees. This makes the gauge sit cockeyed in the housing. I am assuming that this is a one off error, rather than an indication of a manufacturing system problem, and anyway, as long as it works, I am not too concerned.
As another reviewer said, mine constantly leaks air at anything below tank pressure. Doesn't perform the job it is suppose to

Mine was Fine in a Pinch
Not sure if the other guys got bum units or what, but mine seems fine. It's nothing fancy and I'd say it's overpriced but I needed one in a pinch.

Will not regulate tool pressure
This regulator loses air pressure at any adjustment point below tank pressure; in other words, it will not regulate pressure below tank pressure. Therefore, it is useless. This device will be returned, and I will visit Sears for a regulator which actually works.

Defective
Purchased this rather than going to Harbor Freight. Did not work. "Made in China." As soon as any tool began to use air, the pressure would go to zero. Turn of the tool and several seconds later the pressure would come back up. Totally unusable.
