I have been buying Husky brand shelving for a few years now and nothing seems to compare. However, sometimes, Husky might be a bit "too husky" for what I'm trying to organize and store. So, I was really excited to see that someone there came up with a less rugged, less expensive alternative to their free-standing shelving. Here's how it works: Everyone that's ever been to Home Depot knows that that have a line of black and yellow bins that are amazing. They're sturdy, they're affordable and they come in several sizes. I personally have bunches of these and in every size that they make. I use them because they protect whatever is inside very well and keep the contents 100% clean. So now, Husky developed a system where you install this simple Horizontal Wall Track and then you hang Vertical Rails on them as needed. Once that's in place, you can use their shelf brackets designed to slide those black and yellow bins right into and away from any potential flooding. You can also hang wire shelving or hooks onto the track. I've taken a couple of pictures for people to see my installation. They're sort of like "Before & After" shots. I'm not totally finished with the installation yet because I intend to add more brackets to hang more bins on. Once that's done, I intend to line one of my garage walls with them. If you've made it this far, trust me ... this system is just GREAT! You'll love it.

This shelf is very sturdy & was easy to install on the Husky shelf brackets. Was about to add a shelf to my Slat Wall in just a couple of minutes. Great option for garage storage.

This Wire Shelf is an accessory to compliment the wall mounted rail system made by Husky. It is available in a 28” and 48” size. This Husky rail system is an ideal solution for organizing the garage, basement or mud room. The rails are available in 36”, 48” and 84” lengths. The rails are designed to fit along a wall enabling it to screw directly into studs. The rail comes with pre-drilled holes that correspond to stud spacing for easy installation. Other accessories include hooks, shelf brackets, vertical brackets and a tote. The wire shelf along with other accessories can be installed anywhere along the rail in any order and any spacing. The hooks latch in place to keep them located where you put them. Simply unlatch them and move them to any location when required.

The Husky wire shelf is a heavy steel gauge shelf that is used with the Husky wall track system. Other parts of the system I've incorporated is the wall track, metal tracks (used to hang off of the wall track), and shelf brackets. The shelf is powder coated in a black finish and easily screws into the shelf brackets for added stability. The metal shelf is very strong and even acts as a hanging platform for my extension cords. I look forward to adding more of the collection for increase organization in my garage.

I definitely recommend this Husky shelving/storage system to all who want and/or need a stylish, easy to assemble and extremely functional system to help organize their garage or whatever room you choose to install it in. The instructions are very easy to follow. Minimal tools are required which makes it easy for the novice of DIY-ers to be able to install without having to hire a professional. I’m a big fan of the slots on the shelf brackets where you can hold the 27” black and yellow storage containers by Husky. And this wire shelf bolts up to the shelf brackets which makes very sturdy. I would give it more than 5 starts if I could. I will be replacing my current cabinets and shelves with the Husky storage/shelving wall system.

This is part of the Husky Wall Shelf System. This is the 28 in. Wire Shelf It's very easy to install, just connects with steel brackets. The 28" shelf is steel construction with a powder coated finish to resist rust. No chipping and cracking. 1 6 in. depth for larger items including plastic totes. Supports up to 300 lbs. All installation screws included.

The slat wall and track 28 inch wire shelf can probably be used as a stand-alone item, but it achieves its best functionality as part of the Husky shelving system. It does not seem to be as strongly constructed as the rest of the system. It attaches to the Husky shelf brackets with four machine screws (I believe #10 fine thread) that were not included with the unit I received.

The slat is very well made and it color matches the track system it holds a good amount of weight and it comes with screws to attach it to the rail and it holds very secure the slats holds very well and it secures with four screws that come with it no need to run to the hardware store and get some everything you need to attach it is in the box I definitely recommend it

My husband wanted to redo his entire tool room when he saw this storage system. The durability is phenomenal. All of the endless accessories and endless ways to use them is absolutely amazing. I think I got more excited when we started by hanging the 84" wall track system. No instructions came with any of the pieces, but I found the installation very self explanatory and quite easy to do. Make sure that you attach each end of the horizontal wall track system into a stud. This system holds hundreds of pounds at a time. A simple wall anchor will not support that much weight. The vertical rail clicks right into the horizontal wall track and is made from the same durable and quality material. Then you simply click in the brackets into the vertical rails. After that you can click the wire shelf onto the the horizontal wall track or you can click the wire shelf onto the brackets that you click into the vertical rail. I used the brackets that support the wire shelf and will also hold a tub w/lid at the same time. I do not have the tubs yet, but am eager to make that addition. Every piece is of a high quality metal material and powder coated.Who knew one could get so excited about storage.

The wire shelf is to be used in conjunction with husky shelf brackets. The shelf itself comes with 4 screws to attach it to the brackets. I almost threw them out so double check the packaging. Mine were taped to the inside bag. Back to the product, the powder coating is good quality. It is very sturdy. The depth from the back lip to the front lip is 16.5 inches. It has a small back lip and a larger front lip that is about 1 inch tall.

I got this Husky 28" wire shelf as a part of the Husky garage storage system including the 84" metal track, 24" vertical rails, and Dual function shelf brackets. This is truly a heavy duty system. The shelf can support up to 100 pounds per linear foot, so over 200 pounds for this shelf. The shelf also comes in a 48" size, and the brackets are designed to allow you to connect the wire shelves one to the next if you wish. The steel is thick and heavy. Instructions for either type of installation, and all hardware is included in the package. I am very impressed with the quality, the versatility and the ease of installation of the Husky wall storage system.

Husky Slat Wall and Track 28 in. Wire Shelf The shelf comes with a good set of instructions and 4 screws for attaching to brackets. I like this wire shelf a lot. It is strong and has a good finish on it. It has attached tabs the are drilled at each corner for securing to brackets. The shelf has a lip across the front to stop things on the shelf from being pulled off. This has the matching paint of all the Husky pieces.

There are many choices out there for garage wall track systems and I cannot make a comparison to them, however if your looking for a heavy duty system then this may be a great option. This fast track garage stuff is great. It looks clean, it would be easy to install. It's versatile and it's sturdy. These brackets, rails and shelving is powder coated metal, not plastic. I had mine delivered and they came wrapped pretty well and no damage was made to the item. These also come with the hardware unlike some other brands.

The 28" Wire Shelf is well built and looks nice. If you want a truly solid shelf to hold the maximum weight you must mount your support brackets to studs 24" on center. The rated weight limit is 100# per LF. Because the mounting hole brackets are welded to the shelf, you must measure accurately and will not hit studs spaced 16" apart. The shelves are designed to be installed Edge Lip up. This keeps items from slipping off the shelf, but makes the flat surface 16" deep. You cannot install Edge Lip down or it will not attach properly to the brackets and interfere with the Tote Slide Slots. 3 Stars

The Husky wire shelf is a heavy duty shelf that is made to hold heavy objects. The shelf is easily attached to the Husky system. Once the horizontal or vertical rails are place, the shelf attached to the shelf brackets. The wire type shelf lets you see through it to view whatever you are putting on it. It is 28 inches wide and has a turned up lip to keep items on the shelf. The painted finish is high quality and has a nice smooth finish. This is a strong product that will last along time.

So I got this 28 in. Wire Shelf, as part of the Husky system which included the 84 in. Garage Wall Track, Slat Wall and Track Shelf Bracket and a pair of 24 in. Garage Wall Track Vertical Rails. Let me say off the top this is heavy gauge steel. When you anchor it to studs this thing seems like it could hold a ton. The shelve is strong and well built. This is absolutely well thought out and EXCEEEDS my expectations. The instructions couldn't be any clearer (and probably not even needed). WELL done Husky!!!! I had the whole thing installed in about a half hour or less.

A good, sturdy wire shelf that is part of the Husky wall track system. Available also in a 48" version according to the paperwork that comes with the product, but this is the 28" version. This shelf is heavier duty than a typical wire shelf that you would get for your closet. You can confidently store heavy containers in your garage on this shelf. It also has a nice front lip that should stop anything from falling off the shelf if it were bumped. The shelf can be mounted directly to the Husky wall track using the required shelf brackets or hung from the optional vertical rails that are also available separately as part of the Husky wall track system. Either configuration requires the shelf brackets. The shelf secures to the shelf brackets by four bolts for a good firm setup. This is not a low cost shelving solutions but it's a great option if you want heavy duty shelves or you want shelving as a portion of a larger garage storage/organization solution.

I am installing the Husky Slat wall and Track System 28 in. wire shelf on to my 84 in. Track Bar system. This Shelf is one of many accessories available for the Track Bar system and Slat wall. It is made from heavy gauge wire and painted a nice quality black. It includes screws to attach it to the shelf brackets. It appears to be very strong and sturdy with a 250lb. rating. I believe it will give me good service for a long time.

Great quality, perfect size. How exciting can a shelf be? Extremely so, if you have need of a deep shelf that can handle heavy loads! When used together with the other components in this system the wire shelf is perfect for heavy, or just large storage needs. In my case, I wanted some rough storage for laundry products and some bulky painting tools in the utility room. To do this effectively, I chose to install multi-use brackets, so I could hang a tote underneath; just two uses for the same the same space saving collection. Due to space constraints,the shorter shelf was perfect though I have ordered the longer one to use in the shop. With the wide assortment of hangers, shelves and such, I will doubtless find many more uses for this system. Truly a welcome addition!

It can supports up to 300 lbs. Fastening screws included. Lifetime warranty. This shelf is compatible with Husky Slat Wall Panel and Husky Wall Track Systems.You will need two of the steel Husky shelf brackets to secure this in place. This entire system of shelves and track that Husky came up with is very neat looking. This would look good anywhere. You could put this in a garage or a shop or in any type of commercial or residential area. This shelf measures 17'' Deep 1.20 inches High and 28.60 inches wide when assembled and on brackets.On the description page it gives three different weight ratings from 250lbs. to 350lbs.I don't know yet which one is correct but it does hold a lot of weight. I would recommend to others as I really like this entire Husky system it looks terrific and is very strong and sturdy. as far as installing the shelf , it just takes 4 screws one in each corner, fast install and easy.

Was sold the shelf only to find out the mounting brackets are UNAVAILABLE and apparently being discontinued? #ridiculous

This is actually a great product as is this whole track system!!! ...but it appears as though HD is discontinuing this version of the track system. Can’t seem to get more hooks and they’re pushing other brands. Makes sense, you also can’t get more of the same husky totes they had just last year either. Such a shame.
