The brackets are not tall enough at 2 1/2” and allow the wire shelf to sag roughly 3/8”, 1/2” if the front to back wire doesn’t land on the bracket. I exchanged and checked the brackets before leaving the store, same issue. Exchanged it for the red finish and it had the correct brackets. It’s a packaging issue with the manufacturer, they’re putting the wrong brackets in the black finish kits. Buy red.

Excellent shelving. Easy to assemble. Used extra sheathing to line the shelves.

You don't need calipers to check that the steel is thinner now. The only thing the same is the footprint (so it does connect to the older ones). But see pic of the bend. This was probably too inexpensive two years ago. Now it’s just plain cheap

The Husky heavy duty garage rack is great! It was able to hold everything in my garage and give the garage a clean spacious look. I love it so much, I wish I would've purchased it sooner!

These shelves are great. Definitely very heavy duty, and sturdy. Assembly is quick, despite vague instructions- pay close attention to the pictures and make sure the supports are right-side up, it’s a breeze. They use choose a better freight company. 2 weeks late and had to return/exchange one.

I waited 2 months to get this in as I knew it would be large enough to handle all the stuff stacked in the garage. The price is unbeatable. It was easy to assemble. Highly recommend.

I purchased this rack a year ago and was looking to buy another. Each level supports 5 ten gallon tropical fish tanks. That’s about 500 pounds. Looking for another but this is no longer available.

(I agree with BobtheBuilder's review.) This is a well-built, sturdy shelving unit. However, two things that could be better. 1) there are no cross supports for the wire shelves on the ends - just the one in the middle, which causes, 2) the wire shelves to shift and slip off the horizontal bars and sag, allowing smaller items to fall off the shelf. The wire shelves need to be about 3/8" deeper to stay put on the horizontal bars. I fixed this by drilling holes in the corners of the horizontal bars and driving a sheet metal screw into the holes to prevent the wire shelf from shifting. Spend a little more money and get the bigger, 4 shelf unit that has cross supports in the middle and on both ends.

Husky: I get your brand usually in order to avoid the issues I’m having putting this thing together. WHY is there freaking slag and unground weld beads in places on the bars that need to fit to the frames tightly? Why are random wire bars on the shelf surfaces bent and warped? Why was this thing packed like it wasn’t going to be shipped and smashed around? I’m freaking angry that I have to get my stupid grinder out because you guys can’t do your weld jobs correctly. I paid 200 for these shelves.

I’ve had these for about a year now and about to order 4 more. Much better than the last ones I had. I took the top shelf off to make it easier for the wife to reach. I just wish they had cheaper delivery

Just an fyi i fit the box into an 14 equinox with the seat all the way forward and down on the pass side

After putting the frame together I found that the wire frames that actually hold boxes were too small. Too far to any side and they can fall off the rails holding them up. Seriously how much more money would it have been to add another .25 inches of material to the screen.

This really was an amazing deal and it solved a HUGE storage problem that I had, storing products in my garage. Before this, I used to keep inventory on the floor on pallets. That caused my to loose a spot to park a vehicle. Now, I'm good. Stuff is neat and tidy and I got my parking space back!

Bought a couple of these after doing some research. For the money I don't think you can beat them. They come packaged well and none had any damage. They go together super easy with zero tools. They are definitely strong and will get the job done. I got rid of my older plastic shelves and these fit a lot more stuff on them. The wire rack that comes with them is very nice an strong enough for my needs. I compared with the wire rack on other models and this is a much heavier gauge and better made wire rack setup. While I was at home depot I had some 1/8" paneling cut to fit these. I figured it could act as a shelf liner and stop any items from falling thru the wire rack. Here is what you do. Buy 3- 4x8 sheets of 1/8 smooth paneling. I bought tempered hardboard that cost $11 each. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Hardboard-Tempered-Panel-Common-1-8-in-4-ft-x-8-ft-Actual-0-115-in-x-47-7-in-x-95-7-in-832777/202189720 Have them cut the 96" edge of the panels down to 84 5/8". Then rip the entire panel in half lengthwise. (cut the 48" width right in half making two panels 24"x 84 5/8"). This will get you two shelf liners per 4x8 sheet of paneling. 3- 4x8 sheets gives you one extra liner in case one gets damaged. All in all these things are an awesome buy!

Very easy to assemble, and did not require any tools. Instructions were clear and in just a short amount of time my shelving was complete. I was equally impressed by how sturdy these shelves are, once they are assembled they are no going anywhere. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Purchased this Husky 4 Tier Heavy Duty Shelving for my shop. It took my wife, son, and myself 15-20 minutes to assemble after unpackaging it! Super easy! The unit is very sturdy! Already have it nearly loaded full. I WILL be buying another one if these soon!

Love this shelving. Fairly easy assembly. Very sturdy! Put this in a storage unit free standing, not against a wall. Very sturdy as the bottom of the legs have little feet that give it balance, not wobbly.

The wire mesh that you actually put stuff on does not fit the shelving unit. It's a huge safety issue. Can't return because I rushed and threw the box away on garbage day. I'm stuck with some worthless scrap metal.

This Husky 4 tier heavy duty shelves certainly has met my expectation. It's very sturdy and spacious. One thing I wish instead of wire racks that goes on each shelf that it had a piece to lay flat which would allow storage for smaller items. However, overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase.

My garage is small and also serves as a home gym. My wire and I purchase two of these racks to help consolidate a lot of stuff that was on the floor and move it to a dedicated location. Assembly was so easy, each rack took around 25 minutes to assemble with a partner or alone but it was a bit easier with someone else holding the other end of the end support pieces. Each box came neatly organized with clear instructions. Functionality is great, we have a deep freezer that lost its home due to the racks so we opted to leave the bottom two shelves out of one of the racks. Overall this is light years better than the cheap plastic storage solutions out there - we couldn’t be happier.

These are nice shelves, but I am disappointed in the quality from production. There are 16 plastic clips to insert at the end of assembly. Out of 16, I could only fully insert 9. Seven of the holes were drilled too close to the raised edge of the shelf. Thus, the plastic inserts are useless. The plastic inserts are not life and death. But, I bought another shelving unit, and every single hole aligned. Quality Control, I'm calling you out.

I purchased three of these to change our stacks of totes into something a bit more organized. These go together easily with only a mallet to make sure the rails are secured to the uprights. They hold a lot of weight and look great. That said, we could not get the same amount of stuff into the same area because of the spacing between the top of the totes and the next shelf. Oh well, I guess we need to get rid of some stuff. Assembly took me about 20-30 minutes each by myself. I did notice that standing on the wire grate can bend it pretty easily so I avoided doing this on the next one I built. I was able to bend it back into an almost flat grate. I would just be aware that they are strong when you have a box or a tote on them but try not to stand on them.

As a 60+ woman who normally struggles with putting things together on her own, I found this shelf to be so easy to assemble that I immediately went out and bought a second one! My garage is finally organized!!

Very well designed product. All steel construction that requires no nuts, bolts, or other fasteners. To assemble, just match the slots and tabs on the various pieces and tap together with rubber mallet. The steel frame flexes enough to allow proper alignment of parts. Just be patient and use common sense. I do have some minor concerns. The finish could be better. I noticed slag from the welding process under the painted surface. The flat black paint is thin and scuffs easily. Definately is not powder coated. Only time will tell if the steel will rust and finish will blister. I guess it can be touched-up with some Rustoleum if it does. All in all, a solid shelf system. Haven’t loaded the shelves yet, but I can believe the 1,800lb. shelf capacity claim—provided the weight is evenly distributed over the entire shelf. I dont think you’ll find another shelf as sturdy as this one for the price.
