This impact wrench made quick work of bolts that had 25 years of rust. Breaker bar didn’t work, breaker bar with 2’ black iron pipe extension didn’t work. Impact wrench had the bolts out in 3 seconds.
Great product for the money!

Reliability
I work as a diesel mechanic and work on Semi trucks. I’ve done this job for a long time where bolts are constantly seized, those bolts are mostly all over 1” in size. I don’t always oil this gun and it seems to never give up. I’ve beaten this tool so much, dropped it, not oiled it. It refuses to give up. For the price, this tool will do most work a mechanic throws at it.

It works - Honda Crankbolt is No Match!
I recently did a timing belt change on my Honda Prelude. Honda crankbolts are notoriously hard to remove (180 ft-lbs of torque). On the Prelude, I broke an impact wrench, and had to use a 1/2" breaker bar and a 4' pipe. I tried that yesterday when changing the timing belt on my Ridgeline and broke two shoulders off the harmonic balancer and a socket. I went to Home Depot and purchased this gun. Add 3/8" fittings throughout, my Dewalt 15-gallon compressor (even though 20-gal is stated as the minimum), and a Lisle crank bolt socket, and this gun zipped the crank bolt loose in 20 seconds. Impressive! Worth the $114 I paid (3/29/20). I assume it will last if you keep it oiled and maintained properly.

The impact worked real well. It took the axle nuts off my F350 4x4 front hubs/rotors easily. The hubs and rotors are assembled 2 piece with lug studs holding it together. Instead of pressing the studs into the hub, I used a lug nut to draw the studs through the rotor to assemble it to the hub. It did it quite easily. I did stop after every 2 studs to let the impact cool off and oil it. I was afraid I was working the impact to hard. I used a 3/4, 60ft. hose, with a 30gal, 3 1/2hp oil less compressor.

Very well-built, and designed impact wrench. The control switch on the rear is easy to access, as well as the reversing knob. This impact wrench is very powerful, and still quiet.

It wasn’t as impactful as I thought it would be. I was not able loosen the lug nuts on my truck with it.

Solid gun. Used to remove 1 1/4" axle nuts to replace wheel hubs. Didn't even flinch. I thought this wouldn't work at all with a 2 1/2 gallon pancake compressor, but there was plenty of pressure for this job. Recommendation was for a 20 gal tank, maybe for big jobs or a garage, but for little ones, not so much.

I am taking it back because the second week I had my impact tool, it started blowing out nothing but air and I had to use my coworker’s impact these last three weeks.

You have water in the tool as you didn’t oil it per the user instructions. This will happen to any air tool if you do not maintain it. User error not tool issue…

Followed all the factory recommendations for operating this impact gun and it would not remove the lug nut on the car. I ended up breaking them free with a Craftsman 17” breaker bar. No way is this gun 800 ft-lbs, returned it and bought a Aircat 1150, ya its more money but if it can do the job its worth it. The Husky is over priced and more like a toy. Look it up on YouTube, see if I’m right.

Good for the price
Usually I use a Dewalt battery powered one. This is a decent entry level unit. Did have to get it replaced under warranty after only a week. The replacement has worked just fine. Not the strongest but seems durable enough for light duty work.

Use this Husky impact wrench primarily for removing blades off of lawn tractors and mowers. So far no job has been to tough for it in the 2 months since purchased. After my original impact lost it's power, this Husky has proven it's self to have more power and easier to use.

While doing a brake job on the front brakes of my van, I ran into aTorx head caliper bolt I couldn't break loose and remove. I had a 300 ft-lb impact wrench and it wasn't getting it off. I picked up this Husky 800 ft-lb impact wrench and it spun it right off. I also had a couple of stubborn bolts on the break pad bracket. Apparently, someone used a threadlocking compound on them. It took a 2-3 seconds on the high setting and I was able to get them off as well. This will be my go to impact wrench for heavy duty jobs.

This impact wrench is powerful and not too loud compared to other ones. It works great and is very light compared to others. This is my first impact wrench but I have used many others. This one is my favorite especially for its price.
