I've had this desk for a few weeks now. The longest part was the delivery. It took longer than the estimated time to get ordered. Need to find a long desk to fit my gaming consoles and work computers. Used this to create a custom desk aka my Battleststion. The wood top is sturdy and very thick. I used galvanized pipe to make the desk frame. Eventually I will buy another 2 wood top to create a T shaped desk for the kids to do homework on.

This worktop is just what I was looking for to complete a black pipe desk for my office. It shipped fast, and arrived safely at my local store. It comes with 36 threaded inserts on the bottom face, and if you're so inclined, they are easily removed and can be relocated to suit your purposes. It is pre-finished, and is quite hard. If I ever made another desk, I'd get this again.

This is a thick heavy duty wood work top that complimented my garage work top cabinets perfectly. It was beyond my expectations considering the very reasonable price.

Used this as the top for my electric standing desk. If you are using it for this purpose, you will have to navigate the predrilled holes to make your new ones. Looks, feel (and is) great with a heavy build. The size is nice to git all gadgets across. While I did find some slightly cheaper real wood options, saved my time from sealing as this came pre-sealed.

I bought this to act as a replacement table top for my home office. The working surface is smooth, my only gripe here is that the finish is relatively soft; you can easily create a scratch mark with your finger nail if you apply some pressure. The underside is slightly rough to the touch but I wouldn't worry about getting any splinters; it's decently finished so that it's smooth to the touch but you can definitely feel some wood fibers in certain areas. It's heavy but sturdy, I'd recommend you get someone to help you lift the thing. I just wish Husky made a longer variant of this product.

This seems great for a work bench. The quality, heft, smoothness, and finish are very good. HOWEVER, there are three things you should know before buying. 1) the butcher block segments are very short, only 4-5” long. This is how they get the price so low- they are able to use shorter scraps of wood. It creates almost a checker board look and all the pieces are joined with “finger joints”, which is like a sawtooth pattern, so not a straight edge. This isn’t necessarily bad, but both of these traits are not typical for butcher block and aren’t clear in the pictures. 2) This is not “unfinished” it has a nice clear coating on it that seems durable and smooth, but if you’re like me and we’re planning on sanding and staining this to another color you will have your work cut out for you, it’s tough stuff If you like it the color it is, then there is no problem. If you want a similar sized butcher block top that has longer block segments and that is unfinished, there is one on the site (at the time of this writing) that is only about $60 more, and I would recommend that. (Do a search for “butcherblock countertop” and it should come up. 3) also not shown in the pictures is the bottom side of this, which has screw holes with threaded metal inserts, plus three slots cut into it (segmenting the underside into four sections). It also comes with a bag of screws. I assume this is all for fitting it to a specific work bench. Not really a problem, but thought I’d mention it because it’s not in the pictures.

Its wood, i put 5 legs on it and BAM! desk. Solid wood, ready to use. Nice smooth finish on 90% of it. Cant complain.

Great bench top, solid wood, looks so nice i am afraid to use it:) i replaced my the original top on my Craftsman workbench, the quality is far better then the Craftsman top that came with the bench and it looks great. i love it.

I bought this to put inside my pantry as a counter top. I absolutley love it, packaging was fine, delivery was fast. I stained it with Watco Danish oil, 2 coats and let is sit over night. I bought the 72"x 24" and cut to size with a saw. Fits perfect, very happy with the results especially for the price.

Board came in cracked.

I ended up using this to make a floor-sitting computer desk with black iron pipe nipples and floor flanges. Absoluetly overkill for my purpose, however at this price it was a steal.

I have nothing but good things to say about these husky tops. Very flat, sturdy & the color & finishes are consistent throughout the product line. I own 5 types.

There is nothing wrong with the quality of the item. I return the item do to the specifications. This item is not what I expected, the item dimensions of 6ft x 2ft was too large for my Husky six piece set. The proper size that I would need is 6ft by 1 1/2 foot (18 inches), which I can not find with in Homedepot.

Arrived in perfect condition. Finished and ready to go.

Solid surface, exactly what I wanted. Arrived with a large dent in the side, likely from shipping.

High quality butcher block top. Metal inserts make attaching legs simple. Screws are included.

Great option for home office desk top. I installed my own threaded inserts that work with my sit/stand frame and DONE!

They sent the wrong product as in the 'entire workbench’, which if I had a truck I would have drove off with and never said a thing. The bigger problem was the attitude of the girl handling my return - next time I will bill you for my time wasted on your bad processes. Hate this store/ownership but wanted the product…but never again.

Description is completely deceiving. It caused confusion.

The top was excellent quality easy install on an existing workbench I have.

Used as a desk. Looks great, smooth finish.

These solid wood work surfaces purchased as a solo units make great 72 inch storage shelves for under the same size work bench. Just a little cutting is needed to fit around bench legs.

Solid wood surface, strong and sturdy desk holds all my equipment with ease.
