Don’t put the sticker on the blade!!! It’s useless cause why do I want waste 20 mins scrubbing it off with goo gone and a wire brush when it should be ready to use. All these dumb companies do it. I wanna use both side the blade for mud, didn’t pay for a one sided tool, or did I.

One thing I've learned during my years of remodeling and home repair. The secret to a good drywall finish is in tapering the joints. The wider the finish knife, the less obvious the seam. I've had a 12" knife for years now, always faithfully cleaning it, but drywall compound is rough, even on stainless steel. So I got this knife to replace the old one. What I failed to realize is that my mud pan was only 12" LOL! So be advised that the extra two inches may cost you a new pan. Anyhow, the soft grip handle is a real improvement over my old hard plastic handle. I don't finish drywall for a living, so the extra comfort is appreciated. I'm remodeling my kitchen and this should help speed up the work and give me a better finish.
The 14 in. Stainless Steel Taping Knife with Soft Grip Handle is a real joy to use. The grip has a very nice feel to it as mud is skimmed for a final finish coat. After the initial taping and first two coats of drywall compound are applied this knife does a beautiful job of smoothing the final finish coat so that after paining you have a professional looking job.
