Wanted something with a filter but this was the largest one they had. Bought one with a filter to add to the line in addition to this one.

I got this to remove moisture and dirt between a portable compressor and a plasma cutter. I had little trouble installing it, although I had to mount it via intake and outtake pipes rather than the filter itself. So far I haven't seen any moisture collected, but I can feel it when I release the air from it after use. Our air is so humid it should be collecting visible amounts, so I don't know how effective it is, but I have had no trouble with the air that arrives at the machine.

This new version started leaking air at the drain assembly after a week! I have a couple of the older versions of these and they work great! The old ones have a piece that you turn to drain and still work great after many years in operation.

Unit is less than 7 months old and only used occasionally. Constantly leaks air from the plastic drain valve. Contacted Home Depot customer support as recommended and got referred to the Manufacturer (Campbell Hausfeld) customer support line. Without a receipt, they will do nothing and there are no parts available for the filter. More disposable junk.

Only 10 months later and the vent valve on the bottom of the bowl starting leaking. What a joke since it cannot be disassembled or repaired. The warranty is only 30 days and this is total crap. For comparison I have a husky filter on another air tank for over 15 years and its still holding 90 psi. Husky brand has totally lost my respect. I would provide zero stars if that was an option. Buyer beware. Save your money.

After connecting this to my compressor, there was little to no water being captured. I still had a lot of moisture coming out of my rotary tool. Also, the box showed a ¼ turn quick release. However, the release was a twist off and was very hard to remove. When I did finally open it, there was just a little moisture in the filter. I used the compressor for over an hour.

Seems to hold air. Unlike the regulator...

Because it filters nothing, no water, dirt! No nothing. Only Manual you can get shows the warranty! Worthless! Just extends your connection out, so you can break your compressor out line.

Was easy to install. I did have to buy extra parts because my connection was 1/4 each connectors and part was 3/8 thread holes. Make sure you use lots of teflon tape for good seal.

Just picked this up formy 27 gallon Husky compressor. Mine DID NOT come with the 1/4 turn drain valve. It has a push button style valve. All 3 filters on the shelf were the same... Also, be advised that these accept 3/8” fittings, not the typical 1/4” fittings. I made the mistake of grabbing an assortment pack of 1/4” fittings that ill need to return.

it pulls the water out great. no shut off for air.. if i do not have hose hooked up at all times air escapes. so each time i use compressor i have to take all apart. the water drain valve drains all over your hand cause u have to push it up. I does a very good job for purpose and excellant for cost but design could be little better.

Picture shows a twist turn drain valve. One I bought has a manual push up valve which is hard on the fingers trying to use.
