it's not very bright. I thought it would put out more light. I'm going to return it.

Good light battery last about 4 years. I repurchased a new one . I also purchased a new battery for the old one not hard to change now have two, work well when power is out plenty light.

I had this same product for 20 years when it was owned by Universal. Even though they still worked I recently decided to upgrade and found they were a different company "Ideal" and a bit more expensive but they have made some improvements. This item can be used as an outdoor light for evenings or as a flashlight, also used when the light go out, they come on automatically so no one is left in the dark. But Ideal has added a feature. Its a night light and comes on when there are no available lights around which is awesome. They are a bit cumbersome but I am loyal to what works and love them. Gives you 48 hours of lighting with one light or a bit less with 2. I usually just go with one when electric goes out. I love these lights. Hope I get another 20 years out of them. Thank you Ideal. Also, great customer service from Ideal.

Any emergency light that last 48 hours is a really good buy.

Works great excellent for power outages two very bright lights

We live in a place of many blackouts. Each time the power goes out the lights do their job. Unlike other lights these last up to 40 hours. We are safe and no need for candles

We bought this to replace an old larger unit and it fits in nicely . Easy to install

Compact size and bright light. The single bulb night light feature is most useful as is the ability to select three or six bulb lighting during power outages. Our power company has all too frequent outages, and this product is very helpful during those periods.

The upmost in safety devices for the house. In pitch darkness, this beats falling down and breaking your neck or even worse. I purchased three units. One for the bedroom, living room and dining room. I liked them so well I bought three more. One for the toilet, one for a place I haven't decided on yet and the last will be a portable unit to carry for a light. For additional safety I bought 2 fire extinguishers.

Just what I needed.

Placed several of these around my dads home to help him get around during evening power failures. Easy to install. Be sure to set the switches properly for your application. For us, top switch all the way up, bottom switch all the way down did the trick. Not yet sure how long the batteries may last.

Wonderful size and ease of use makes this a great product.

It's nicer than expected! It lights the whole room enough for when the power goes out.

Rate it excellent, 5 stars. Other units only last 2 1/2 hours. this is good for all night till the sun comes up! The kids love its carry handle, too.

This product was easy to install. It plugs into a wall outlet. It also has a night light feature that does a very good job of lighting up the dining room and living room. I have only had it for a couple of weeks so I have not as yet used it during a power outage. The claim is that it will operate for up to 48 hours on fully charged battery. I don't know if this is true or not, but I will be happy if it work for 8 to 12 hours in a power outage.

Easy to install - no wires or electrical. Just charge for a few days and then install where you want it.
