I live in Florida so grilling out is a pretty common thing for me. I had been using a bottled gas grille for years and recently was invited to a friends house for a BBQ. They were using nice high quality charcoal Briquettes in their charcoal grille. Boy was I amazed at the flavor of their chicken and streaks. SO as I was in need of a new grille I decided to find a nice high quality charcoal grille. After doing some research I decide on the durable stainless-steel IG Charcoal Barbecue grill. When my grille arrived and I opened the box...WOW was I impressed with the quality and how well made the grille is! Everything about it right down to wheels seem to be high quality commercial grade. My son and I quickly and easily assembled the grille and were amazed that NO tools are needed per the instructions. In no time at all we had a beautiful and very well made grille ready to use! I did get some photos of the grille after we assembled it...BUT as we really wanted to try it out and did...with marinated chicken on squires we fired it up...the grille was perfect for using squires as they mention in their info about the grille. My son's chicken turned out great and we got so into them did not take any photos...BUT they were great! Will be doing thick strip steaks next week! Love this grille!!!! I am going to get a cover for it and would recommend doing so. This very well may be the last grille I ever have to get!

This is an awesome grill. It is easy to assemble, easy to move and easy to use. There are instructions to assemble and use included and they included tips about grilling too. The total make up of this grill is stainless steel with the exception of the handles. The stainless steel is easy to clean and it is very nice looking. The ash tray can be remove easily and the charcoal rack and be adjusted for the right cooking temperature. A rain storm came up last night and the grill got wet, but just use some paper towels to dry it and all is well.

Unleash your inner Gaucho. I really like this grill when cooking for a crowd as it maximizes the grilling space for burgers and chicken etc in a simple and efficient design. It is also useful when cooking for one or two people as you can simply keep the coals to one side like I show in my picture cooking jerked chicken wings and thighs. The grill grates come in two pieces with a rubber handle on each side so you can quickly slid it off with the food still on it and replenish coals. They are stainless steel and should last a lot longer than the ceramic coated metal grates. The coals move up and down to adjust the heat. Mainly useful in the beginning if you want to get a really good sear on steaks then lower to cool it down and finish off the steaks using an indirect method. Or near the end when the coals are waning and you need to get that last bit of heat out of them. Assembly was super easy. It literally took longer to unwrap the parts than to assemble. It truly is a no tools needed assembly. This also means it can be taken apart for easy transport to the park or campground. Its sturdy and not flimsy when put together. The legs are held in using spring buttons like you find on adjustable tables. Requires the BBQ to be upside down when installing or removing. The two side tables fold down for more compact storage. Provides a lot of extra room to hold whatever you want. Metal is thick enough and sturdy. The shelf below just rests on four brackets but is sturdy and holds a lot of stuff like buns or uncooked food to keep it off the ground and out of the way. The box is all stainless and fully welded so it should last a very long time. The lever to move coals up and down works well. smooth operation. The grate holding the coals lets the ashes fall down to the removable cleaning tray. Super simple clean up. Pro tip - Get a couple of chafing dish covers or disposable aluminum pans if you want to cover the food for lower heat using a more traditional kettle style BBQ method. A friend who lived in Argentina where these Gaucho style grills are popular said to just put a paper bag or newspaper over the top to keep in heat. I used this method and show it in the picture. worked great as the outdoor temp was 50 degrees and I didn’t use a full chimney. Paper wont' combust without an open flame below about 450 so its generally safe after the coals have started to cool. parchment paper would also work. Clean up is very easy with two grates as they fit in my utility sink for an overnight soak. Each grate is 14.5 x 15 inches without the handle. Cleaning the box is about the same effort as cleaning a kettle grill. Easier actually because of the ash tray. Price may seem expensive but since it is all stainless it should last forever and will take a lot more abuse than a typical kettle BBQ. A rectangle shape also provides more usable cooking surface than a round grate. With the grates flush with the top of the grill it is easier to flip the burgers. I imagine the first thing to go will be the grate to hold the coals. The grate is welded in place but could easily be replaced with a drop in grate when the time comes.

A marvelous charcoal BBQ! This seems to be a great product. It is well designed, goes together without tools, and works well. It looks good too. The parts are all wrapped in bubble wrap preventing them from scratching each other during shipment. The main body is already assembled, and all one has to do is attach the legs, wheels, shelves and crank handle. Slide in the ash tray, and add the two grids, and one is done. All the steps can be done without any tools though I did use a Phillips screwdriver to hold the screws for the side shelves. The legs clip into the base and they have very nice big sturdy wheels that allow the whole grill to easily be wheeled about. Two wheels have robust foot locks to lock them when in place. The main body contains a grid on which a fire is started. The grid can be raised or lowered using the crank handle on the front of the grill. It goes up and down easily and stays at the selected height. The distance between the cooking grid and the fire grate can be varied from 3½” to 8½”. There is plenty of air available for the fire and I was able to start a bunch of briquettes easily using my usual solid starter fuel blocks and some twigs. Fire was ready for grilling after 15 mins. If one wants to add charcoal or tend the fire, the two cooking grids rest on the top and can be slid outward over the side shelves. Their plastic handles remain over the side shelves preventing them from getting too via direct heat from the fire. They provide plenty of cooking area. An ash tray slides in from the front below the fire and catches the ash as it falls though. Once the fire has cooled, all the remaining ash can be knocked down into the ash pan and then the whole pan can be removed and carried off to dispose of the ash. Adjusting the grilling height is a piece of cake allowing very fine control over heat arriving on the food. If one turns the ash pan upside down, it forms a reasonable lid over the cooking grids and I will do this to keep rain and snow out. I do wish they had designed its size such that it could double as a weatherproof lid and ‘sideboard’ when not using the grill. Apart from the handles, everything seems to be made from stainless steel, except perhaps the fire grate, but I am not sure about that. If that part does ever rust out, I am sure that a grid from some other BBQ will make a good replacement. A small, (poorly printed) instruction booklet is included, showing the steps to assemble it, how to clean it, and all the legal warnings you would expect with something made for fires. The ease of assembly and great design of the BBQ makes this a winner. I think I will enjoy this grill for many years to come. Made in China

I have used my IG CHARCOAL BBQ STAINLESS STEEL CHARCOAL GRILL a few times now and I've seen enough to know this is a good grill. The measurements of the grill 30x15.5, with side shelves stored 40.5x18 and shelves up 62x18. There's about 9in. of clearance from shelve and ash tray. There's 4 inch screw on wheels with 2 caster locks. It came in 15 major pieces and took me 10 minutes to put together, very easy assembly. It holds a lot of coal, comes with an adjustable coal rack so you can adjust the heat. the grill can hold 20 strips of pork belly or 30 chicken drumsticks so that's great for small or large groups. A few concerns. Even though everything snaps together or tightens with wing nuts.. if the shelf was just a little lower, you would have more clearance and might even make the grill seem more sturdy. And it does not come with a cover so storage can be tricky and the frame warps when heated and making the ash tray drawer pop out about an inch but it returns after grill cools down. Very minor things that can be over looked after a great cooked meal.

Great BBQ!
I have had this BBQ for 6 months now and I have been barbecuing a lot and it is still in a great condition. I love the option it gives you of adjusting the heat with lowering or lifting the charcoal bed. Another great thing with this BBQ is the foldable trays that you have the option to use for more storage. Previous BBQs that I have had never provided this much storage which is needed when you are having a BBQ. I am truly happy with this purchase, it has brought a new level of joy when it comes to cooking!

The "Hottest" charcoal grill I've ever owned.
My family and I are avid BBQer's. We grill 2 to 3 times a week on average because of sunny CA good weather. This bbq has been a great performer. the design is sleek and the utility is unique. I love every aspect of the grill. whomever designed this thing must have either been a chef or a bbq lover as well. everything is in the right place and just where you need it. At the end of each session, I hose it down and it looks brand new!

Most Durable Grill that I have Used
This was one of the most durable grills I have used. I have had it for over a year now and it is still in good shape. I love the charcoal bed feature on the grill. I can change the heat temperature with it. Also this is one of the few grills that I have seen with alot of storage space for my utensils and food. Highly recommend this grill.
