Perfect fit as a replacement for a dog door I installed a decade ago! It finally developed a tear after years of abuse by my two medium size dogs. I was concerned that it was going to be different in some way. The only difference was the one I took out was filthy and the one I put in was brand new! Well worth the money I spent!

Very POOR item description. The replacement flap looked great, but, didn’t fit our door. The item description was that it would replace a flap with the Ideal Pet Logo print in the middle. There was no mention that it must be a round logo. Ours is not round. I was very disappointed that this item did not work. As I said, the flap looks great but didn’t work for us. So, we’re still looking.

Installation took less than 5 minutes including removal of the old flap and installing the new one.

The Ideal Pet extra large replacement flap for the original and aluminum frames was required 15 minutes to install with a #2 Phillips Heads Screw driver and an additional purchase of four #8A 1/2" screws. Meant time between failure of the previous flap was 2.5 years of daily use.

Very easy to remove old and install new

Perfect fit! Took all of 3 minutes to install. I forgot how clear the flap was, looks brand new again. Definitely worth it! It would be nice to have a replacement magnet for the bottom. Our dogs run in a out so much they took a chunk out of the bottom plastic covering the magnets, but a little sealant should do the trick.

The replacement flap fit perfectly in the existing white plastic frame. We've gone through three flaps in just over five years, counting the initial one that came with the door. It took less than five minutes to install in the existing frame and required only a Phillips head screwdriver. Our lab mix is pretty hard on the flaps as he only has one speed - FAST. Over time the flap tends to start tearing at the top corner and eventually rips all the way across the top.

After many years of a German Shepherd running full speed through the door it finally became torn. The replacement door fits perfectly and was very easy to replace. This should last for a while as my GSD is getting older.

A bit expensive but everything is now a days. Saved money over buying a whole dog door setup though. Fit perfect and very plyable rubber. Seals well.

Just a bit too short for opening. Air leaks in. Like the clear and weight. Have to figure out how to seal outside air out

Bought this flap to replace an old one my dogs chewed up as puppies. The old flap was very old, but this flap still fit perfectly.

Ez to replace and install. One screw driver and 5 minutes later it's complete.

The flap took about 5 minutes to install. I went to the store to get mine. There was a bit of confusion because there was a complete dog door on the shelf and no flap only visible to me. Very nice young man got down on the floor and dugsome out from the back of the floor-level shelf.
