It was easy to install. It is very powerful. The use will be infrequent so I could have gotten away with a less powerful appliance,but it is peace of mind that it will handle a tough load.

Sooooo quiet. Can barely hear it when the water is running. Cleans itself throughly with each use. Was just installed yesterday so I don't know about durability yet.

Easy to install, but I think I must have missed the part about knocking out the little plug in the dishwasher drain. Ergo the first time I used the dishwasher it didn’t drain. A little YouTube research got me straight….knocked out the plastic seal and bingo….works! This Insinkerator is much quieter than my old one…..sweet.
