[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving this trash can. I like that it is fingerprint free stainless steel. I have kids and they touch everything! The sensor works with a wave of your hand and stays open for about 3 seconds and closes completely. It is size C battery operated, in which it DID NOT come with batteries. It does hold a regular 13 gallon trash bag. I did notice it’s a tad bit shorter than my standard 13 gallon trash can. Overall, I like that it’s compact, stainless steel and compliments my kitchen and other appliances!

This product was damaged when I received it. The bin had a large dent on the side. The cardboard container looked like something had rammed into it. Why wasn't this inspected before it was shipped. I don't know whether it was damaged during shipping or not. Unfortunately the Home Depot store where I returned the item doesn't handle this type of trash container so I wasn't able to get a replacement for my trouble.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my Motion Sensor Kitchen Trash Can for a few weeks and I like the convenience of it. I put it in the area where we do a lot of our cooking prep. It is nice to not have to worry about touching the can lid to open it and have to dirty your hands while preparing food. Of course we can have a can with no lid but the dogs would enjoy that. It is funny however to see the dogs go up to the can and just as their snout activates the sensor it opens and scares them. It has been a deterrent to keep them away from the trash. It does use batteries and so far they seem to be lasting. To be honest I have not noticed if it is fingerprint free stainless but so far it has stayed very clean through much use. Putting trash cans in and taking them out are very simple. This is a huge plus. I had another Motion sensor can a few years ago that used a huge rubber band to hold the trash bags and it was a real pain to put the bags in and get them out. For that reason it didnt last long. I know that can will get a ton of use and last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this trash can! The motion sensor works flawlessly every time. It was super easy to install the batteries and set-up. I use this trash can in my craft studio- since I work with stained glass, the motion sensor is so important because I'm always throwing away glass scraps which can be tricky to not drop all over the floor. The automatic opening is helpful so I'm able to carry those scraps with two hands. It's also the perfect size and is easy to remove once full. Super happy with the high-quality materials used too!
