Could not duplicate this by buying lumber for 1/3 more. Easy to assemble, took teak stain easily coated with satin poly.

The shelf is not ready for assembly like the instructions show No predrilled holes for proper assembly

After a lot of searching for some end tables, I decided to buy 2 of these because of the price and the ability to customize them to my liking. And I am really impressed with them! Assembly was fairly easy. Just be careful to note where the holes are on the legs for the lower shelf because we noticed them after we screwed them in and had to re-do it. Also, I wish they provided extra assembly parts. One of my screws was faulty and rather than contacting customer service and waiting for them to ship me a new screw, we went to our local hardware store to replace it. Not a big deal, but extras would have been nice. Other than that, I really love how they turned out. We stained the top and left the rest as is for now, but I really love the way it looks!

Solid wood, easy to assemble (all you have to do is attach the legs and the bottom shelf, the top is pre-assembled) and perfect for customization! I was incredibly surprised at how great the quality was for only $35 each.

I was looking for a black end table in this size and couldn’t find it anywhere so I got this intending to stain it to match my coffee table. In the end I just stained the legs and left the top and shelf natural and it looks great. Only con, attaching the shelf was more complicated than expected. I had to use some clamps and electric drill to line everything up and get the screws into the shelf. The shelf didn’t have pre-drilled holes like the instructions showed but I was able to make it work and it’s VERY sturdy and high quality.

My wife bought two of these and we sanded them a little and the proceeded to paint the legs. While we set those aside to dry, we began staining the rest ( we painted and stained before assembly as I'm sure most people would). Very satisfied with the outcome and the product. I wish it was just a little taller but still satisfied none the less.

So far I'm really liking this table. The table is more hardy and sturdy than I expected. It has a solid feel to it. I like the color and the feel of the wood as well and am considering not even finishing it but just keeping it in its unfinished version. I have maple colored and white furniture next to it and it looks good as is. Not sure why I would need to finish it or even put a clear coat on it. The dimensions are just right to hold my HP LaserJet printer. Also, I chose to not add the lower shelf so I could put it over my desktop computer tower to save space. It fits nicely over it. And... I noticed other reviewers say it requires a drill to install the lower shelf. I initially did install the lower shelf and didn't need a drill as I had expected. I just used the screws that came with the table to enlarge the holes in the table legs and it worked fine - although I can see how a drill might make it easier to enlarge the holes to install the shelf.

Table went together easily and is exactly as shown. It is sturdy and solid and required almost no sanding to prep for finishing. My project required a very dark stain and almost opaque coverage. Since the wood is so light and somewhat resistant to take a stain, it required 5-6 coats of a dark PolyShade to get coverage needed. I knew this going in, so was ready for it and quite happy with the result.

Purchased this for a small bedroom, used as a bedside table once we painted it. Used a primer and then painted it and finished it off with a sealer. Came out nice.

Assembled easily, and all pieces fit together very well. Required very minimal sanding before finishing with exterior paint. To be used on a covered porch.

Purchased two of these tables to be nightstands. Both tables were easy to stain but one table once assembled had gaps that required you to pull the legs inward to make them go away. There were not pre drilled holes for the L brackets so it made it a challenge to anger the legs to the base.

Love the look. I bought a set so I could customize the color I wanted. One of them had some glue or something that prevented the stain from absorbing in certain areas but I was going for a rustic look so I wasn't too worried.

Table is made from rubber wood, nice hardwood, very well finished to accept stain. It is perfect for my 10" subwoofer and the bottom shelf holds my Entertainment system's UPS. The bottom shelf really stabilizes this table and was the main reason why I chose it over others. Price was right as well for real wood. I really dislike particle board and engineered would products with offgassing glue.

There were no assembly instructions included and for the shelf the screw holes were not pre-made so I had to have a friend drill them for me to assemble.

No flaws, easy assembly, sturdy, everything I was looking for. Haven’t finished it yet, so have no thoughts on the suitability of the wood itself.

Lower shelf is slightly warped

Great little table! If the wood used to make this is the same as other tables from International Concepts, it comes from rubber trees no longer able to produce the sap used in the production of rubber, and the wood it beautiful!

Quality was better than expected compared to products today. I put it together with ease and then added some oil stain. Came out beautifully, love the look of all of the grain. Perfect for my record player and records tucked neatly in the corner of the living room.

Really hard to put together, definitely need two ppl and power drill. They expected me to just hand screw into solid wood, no pre-drilled holes, nothing! I also can see the brackets that hold up the bottom shelf... It's not shown like that in the picture on the website... It's sturdy enough though, and I'm gonna paint it anyways... If you buy this you're gonna need another person to hold the bottom shelf while one predrills a tiny hole and then screws all the screws in! Just be prepared!

We bought this table for a bedside table and didn't want anything large or bulky. It came in a timely manner and it was fairly easy to assemble. It is perfect for the spot next to the bed. I am spray painting it to match the table on the other side of the bed.

Nice little side table that we put in a spare room. I was a little disappointed that one leg had a noticeable bow in it, but I was able to minimize its unevenness by taking 4 inches off the legs. The shorter table suited the room better anyways, and for the affordable price I didn’t want to bother returning the whole package. Otherwise, it’s well-made and looks to stand the test of time.
