Looks amazing, but paint wore off immediately
Great color and super fast shipping - it looked even better in person than online. Battery life was good, too. However, I took it skiing 3 days and it's already missing a lot of paint that's chipping off from the custom design.

Great Sound and Great Customer Service
I ordered mostly for my showers and baths.. the sound is perfect...loud and clear. Accidentally shipped to the wrong address...not sure whose fault BUT once I got in touch with customer service, they replaced it immediately. I was so grateful. Love my little clip.

Love the speaker itself as I use it in cold storage. Actually lasts me all day if I charge it every break. Unfortunately, I ordered a personalized one and after a single day the image is starting to scrape off. Literally just from my hand slightly touching it every time I use a button. I can see why the personalizations aren’t extra cost.

3rd One broken again
I'm on my 3rd Jbl Clip 3 that is now broken again, 2nd time the mesh protective face came loose and won't stay on. The last one they replaced the clip broke after a month of use. This product sucks, save your money.

Loved it for a year
I purchased this a little over a year ago and have loved it. However, it recently stopped charging. I can turn it on, it connects to my bluetooth and then shuts down- no red flashing light indicating it needs to be charged. I plug it in to charge and nothing lights up showing it is charging. Super frustrating as I take good care of this device.

Here are some things to try that often fix these issues. It could be as simple as a bad USB charging cable. If you have other charging cables, give them a try. (Be sure that the cable has the same type of connector as the original one that came with your product.). Same for the charger- if your product charges by USB, try a different USB charger. Be sure that it is rated at least 2.0a (2 amps) output. Try other electrical outlets at your location to be certain it is not a local wiring issue. Charge the product overnight for at least 8 hours. Sometimes wiggling the connection restores charging power. if none of these fixes the issue, contact JBL Customer Service for technical support and assistance. https://bit.ly/3u9M8Wz

It’s 100% worth it
This is a great little speaker but let’s get some “problems” out of the way first. First off is arguably the most important, the sound. It’s got a bit of feedback that can be heard at low volume so it doesn’t sound as clear as it could be when doing things like relaxing to some nice quiet acoustic stuff. There is some lack of bass and has a very noticeable amount (at least to me) of bass loss at high volume. It also rattles when pushing a ton of bass. And lastly the little pin for the pivot point of the carabiner likes to wiggle its way out a couple millimeters. Now one minor nit pick is when I double click the middle button like the instructions say, it doesn’t skip songs it just does nothing. But after reading that please don’t think that I don’t like it. This thing is awesome! It’s beautifully designed and I literally find myself looking at it a lot. I love the metal ring going around the whole speaker, it’s gorgeous! Although a little low on bass for my taste (and I’m not much of a bass junkie) , the sound still comes through pretty clear and at a good volume. I’ve only had mine for a couple days but my cousin has one and has given it some serious abuse to which it’s help up to. I hope this little guy lasts me years. Great job, sounds nice, I’ve loved it!

Utter piece of garbage.
Glitchy audio - pairs ok but plays no sound. I have re-set the settings, to no avail. Pairs fine with iphone but no sound once pairing is complete, no matter what I do . It worked fine for 6 months, then seized up.

JBL Clip 3, my 2nd one owned. Pairing Issue
Second Clip 3 I have owned. First one was perfect, never an issue. This one pairs up and if I turn it off, it loses pairing and the I have to “Forget it” on my iPhone 12 and start process over again every time I want to use the Clip 3. Very frustrating and not a good example of good product manufacturing quality.

Great Sound
I love this speaker I listen to all electronic music with lots a bass it sounds great and is loud for a little guy. Well I’ve only had it about a year and I do use it everyday all day all of a sudden it just dies after less then hour. After fully charged no red light or nothing just dies. Js I do have the Party Box now

Great sound, but GRILL FALLS OFF
I love the waterproof JBL speakers—this one is sleek, had great battery life, and really great sound. However, the front grill falls off. This is an issue with this across the board it seems. I do not recommend the Clip 3 for this reason.
