The door was the exact design I was looking for the overall quality is not the greatest for what they cost. There was nothing to compare it to construction wise in store, I was surprised when they arrived that it feels like recycled cardboard. Looks are great, quality is lacking.

It took months to fabricate and deliver, even though they are stock items on HD webpage They arrived with damaged hardware and paint and finish was missed and needed repair. Generally low quality and flimsy, and no bargain at 108.00. Next time I will buy wood doors from another fabricator.

The door is exactly what I was looking for. I only gave it “good” because it really isn’t primed white though the paint covered without a problem. There was a slight bubble in the wood that we didn’t notice until after it was painted. No one will notice it but us!

I order a qty of 3 for a 24" opening and a 48" opening. After waiting 6 weeks for them, I was extremely disappointed to find they were all built slightly different. 1) One of them had different style of hinge compared to the other two. 2) The "pin" hole locations for the pivot was different on one of them compared to the other two. 3) One of them won't close fully and I believe is because the hinging mechanism at the bottom is very tight compared to the gap at the top hinge. 4) The two panels are not flush at the top on one of them. They are barely off and would not worry about issue if I was not already writing about the other issues. I tried all three of the panels in different locations which confirmed the issues followed the doors and not my installation of the mounting brackets. No consistency in how they were built. To make matters worse, I called home depot and they guy I talked to got my order information and said he would call me back after he was done with a customer. I never received a call back. Over 30 hrs later I went into the store to be told by the associate my best way to fix is to order 3 more online and see which ones I can make work and then return the "miss-fits." Now, I am online ordering (to wait another 6 weeks) to find out they are "grayed" out and I can't order them!!!! Someone please comment on how I can resolve this fast! Our first baby is due in 6 weeks and this is the last piece need for the room.

Door picture show a true craftsman (shaker) style door with square edges surrounding the panels. This is not what you actually get. What you get is a single piece composite door with beveled edges. Does not match any of the custom built cabinets in the same room.

the style is great but the quality is very disappointed. It is core (hollow) with four wooden frames but covered with cardboard/composite material showing frail edges already. It is a hassle to paint this paper-liked material, very patchy with paint. Very disappointed. Size is not as specified, have to shorten length. We purchased 9 interior doors (wood) before and was very satisfied. But not this one.

Easy to assemble. Only issue was that there was a scratch on one of the panels which they attempted to paint over with a color that didn't match the door. This mismatch of color and scratch is obvious under certain lighting but we didn't notice until after installation. Why send a damage product?

Although the installation manual claims 1/4" can be trimmed from all sides, there is insufficient solid material left to structurally holds the anchor pins on the pivot door.

The doors are well made. Unfortunately they were chipped and missing pieces when I received them. I just got them but need to contact customer service tosee if I can get the lost hardware replaced. Good price that matches my interior doors.

Came packaged in cardboard boxes. very good condition. All parts included plus fairly easy instructions. Would recommend to anyone wanting an affordable & good looking solution.

These are so flimsy and ugly, I can't believe Home Depot (or Jen weld) actually sells these doors. Hollow core doors are pretty standard in homes in the last 60-70 years, so I was not expecting anything super solid and heavy, but I was expecting something fairly attractive as many composite doors are these days. I knew these doors were plastic when I ordered then, but I was expecting rigid plastic. The doors that arrived were FLIMSY PLASTIC. Like plastic water bottle flimsy. Horrible. If I could give these zero stars, I would. They were a total waste of hope and money. Luckily Home Depot let us return them.

I love this style, but when I received the door, it was really low quality, especially at this price. If it was a $50 door, I wouldn't be complaining. These are flimsy and very prone to damage. The white paint is matte, almost like primer, and every touch shows (should be a semi-gloss for wipeablity). I have the smallest size for a bi-fold door, and this door & hardware are so flimsy, it should've come with a full lower track. This feels odd every time I open it and I don't think the hardware/door will stand up to daily use. Even the door knob that came with it is cheap. Shame on Jenwen for charging so much for this cheepo product. I'm very disappointed (and frustrated because I haven't found another craftsman style).

Doors had to be trimmed by Home Depot (according to the instructions of the manufacturer), and when I unpacked the box, there were large scuff marks from where the doors had been handled. Scuffs were on interior sides, so they weren't noticeable. Problems are with the hardware -- the very items that need to be engineered for heavy duty use -- are flimsy and not up to the task. The overhead track is made of thin metal, which flexed so much, that the mounting units that sit inside the track needed constant tightening. Within one year, the plastic pivots then snapped and the bottom edge of the door caved in. Knobs are flimsy and also needed to be tightened often. Very disappointed with both the manufacturer and with Home Depot. "Buyer Beware"

I wanted a craftsman bifold door and this was seemingly the only option. I had purchased a set of Jeldwen french doors last year that were better made and I thought these would be the same. I waited a long time for them to come and when I unpacked them one of the lower corners had been crushed showing me that the door looked like it was made from sawdust and glue molded into a shape. We don't use the closet much and I didn't want to start from scratch and try and find another door so I didn't return them.

Good door. I liked the color and the finish. Somewhat easy to install.

I did have a bit of a problem with the installation since I was installing them in an old doublewide trailer from the 70's. The instructions state that only small amounts can be removed from the height and sides of the doors since they are hollow. I did remove 1-1/2" from the bottom. I then just filled it with a block of wood which I glued in place. Overall, these door are very good quality and look great. The finish paint is beautiful. I don't feel you would have to paint them if you choose not to

I had a contractor install so I don't know if it was tough but they look great. Nice Craftsman styling, solid material and they really buffer the noise of the washer and dryer. I have them in a home office in basement and they really pulled together the whole room.

We had these Craftsman style Jen Weld doors installed throughout our vacation cottage to replace the original flat hollow core doors. What a difference! We got just the look we hoped for and we were pleasantly surprised by the weight and appearance of the doors. We also purchased them on sale which was an added bonus. The fact that they come already primed made painting a breeze. We were disappointed that we could not find an entry door to match. We ended up choosing a raised panel entry door from Jen Weld rather than a recessed panel. Not the end of the world. I highly recommend these doors.

I ordered these doors at a custom size and paid a custom price. My main concern after the fact is that I found that the track was not custom they came in a standard size 60". Now I have to cut to fit. I am not handy so this made this job a chore for me. Since I paid the price, I should be able to take out box paint and hang it, without cutting.

This is a nice quality, mid-range door. We bought it as a temporary fix to keeping a dog away from the cat food and were pleasantly surprised by the weight and substance of the door. It was easy to install. Be careful to take care of the corners as you install, we bumped one up a bit. Overall, it is a good buy.

There was a big paint chip on one door...since these doors are spray painted it would've been impossible to hide the chip. The screws used on the hinges were too big for the application. The heads stuck out not allowing the doors to hang flat when completely closed. We tried to screw them in further only to discover the screws were stripped, they just kept spinning. Overall, the workmanship was very poor. Someone needs to feed the workers more food, their workmanship is lacking.

Love the fact that we do not have to paint these ourselves - well worth the wait. Installation was easy (considering we had heard hanging bi-fold doors could sometimes be challenging), and they look great! We had one installation question so we called JELD-WEN, and their customer service rep actually reached out directly to the person who writes the instruction manual for clarification. Amazing experience - would order JELD-WEN again just for that level of service.

Many years ago I worked at Jeld-Wen door Inc. in Klamath Falls. Back in the 70's we made fine, solid pine interior doors. These days the doors are not made of 100% pine and are not solid. In fact, most everything Jeld-Wen now produces is finger joint paint grade and does not hold up as well as their solid doors of the past.
