I ordered 3 of the exact same kits. Two of...
I ordered 3 of the exact same kits. Two of the kits had all the parts. Lots of parts and manual assembly. The self tapping screws they send strip out very easily. The bearings seem ok on a light door but I need hang a heavier door to try it out. The third kit was not complete and had a couple random extra parts that aren’t even on the instructions. All three kits were assembled somewhat differently (only the top part of the frame comes assembled). Two of them were crooked and one had a screw that was stripped out. True lack of care.

Worked well. The only suggestion is I see other brands...
Worked well. The only suggestion is I see other brands that have wood inside the metal up rites. I think this would make it easier to trim and attach Sheetrock.

Sturdy and EZ to install once you decipher the intructions; take your time if it's your first install for this product. Note that the HD version has solid metal vertical channels instead of the combination wood and steel construction for the lighter duty version.

Item was different than ordered and previously pictured/described, cheaply made without 1" x 3" wood slats to strengthen the side walls along with the metal as the reason I ordered this. Thus flimsy as the new recently changed pics show!!! I have previously gotten all wood kits for less and as good quality.

We noticed in your comments that you stated, “…cheaply made without 1" x 3" wood slats to strengthen the side walls along with the metal…. Thus flimsy…”.
Our new All-Steel Studs provided in the Johnson 1500HD are actually slightly more rigid than our steel-wrapped wood studs. They also allow for 1-3/4" thick doors without needing an additional adapter kit, and since there is no wood product they will not warp.
Those are three qualities in a pocket door frame that are consistently asked to be improved upon by our customers: rigidity, clearance and warping. This change to the All-Steel Studs is in response to our customer feedback, and improves upon all three issues.

The hardware that was pictured at the time of my...
The hardware that was pictured at the time of my purchase was not the 1500HD model. The one you pictured had wood inside the metal studs with a 125lb door rating. This caused me to use the self taping screws provided rather than just nailing the trim. You have since corrected the picture.
