Extemely high quality small cutting pliers that are based on bolt cutter concept. These are not bolt cutters. I played around with them and cut through an old antenna. 4mm hardend steel. No way I could bend it by hand. Pliers took about 5 tries to cut bites into the steel but they worked. This will cut through any fence like a hot knife. Will be quite handy in an emergency.

This is one of the easiest two thumbs up I could give. The Knipex Cobolt bolt cutters, despite being 10” long, seem only to be limited by the capacity of their jaws, which can accommodate up to 1/4” thick objects. Remarkably, they achieve up to 40x leverage while delivering a straight cutting force centered on their target through an ingenious hinged mechanism allowing both blades to pivot up and clamp down in concert, cutting anything from a piece of paper up to 4.2mm piano wire, 1/4 bolts and rods, etc. These bolt cutters are possibly unmatched in quality and performance in their size range, and come with a lifetime warranty from a respected brand. Therefore I feel they are a solid value and well worth the price range at Home Depot.

This compact bolt cutter is a nice tool to have. Mine has chipping on the cutting edge from use. I am currently looking for a replacement. I may end up purchasing again.

I was able to cut rusted barb wire that was surrounding the boarder of my property with ease.

The tool seems well built. However, it cannot cut through nails as advertised

Has quickly become one of my favorite pair of pliers. The twin grips are a must have. Great quality, as usual from Knipex.

I've been using these for a few days and I'm not satisfied with them. They cut pretty good but requirea little extra squeeze. I'm thinking it's the size i got. I'm gonna see if i can return for a different product.

Cutters barely open and close, I've tried lubricant to no avail. Can't open orclose with one hand needs both arms to spread and close,extremely disappointed in these

Excellent small bolt cutter

I purchased 2 of these. They cut wire easy. Highly recommend.

Good for common nails. Do not recommend for the harder ringed nails. Cutting edge dulls quickly.

These are the cutters for anything beyond small nails and screws. You can cut through just about anything if it can fit in the mouth, it can cut it. Also very easy pressure from the hand is all it takes.

I never knew this was the tools to keep me from ruining my angle cutters! Great tool, high leverage, an definitely made with quality, I may buy another pair.

I used these for cutting 14 gauge wire fencing into 9' sections. They were easy to use, easy on my hands (female, not too large), and they let me cut the wire with minimal pressure. I can't imagine a better choice and I'm so glad I invested in them. They are worth every penny.

Cuts 316Lss 3/32 tig rod with no effort, cutting edge still like new.. second thought is... I should have bought the ones with the spring return 71 12 200. No biggy but just an after thought. These cutters are the "ONLY" ones that I would buy again (Angled cut as my seconded pair).

I use these to cut 9 wire for scaffolding. By far the sharpest, strongest and most reliable cutters around. We refer to anyones cutters as their “knipex” because everyone in my local that does scaffolding uses them, great tool.
