First off don't expect your new roses to look like the picture. I ordered 2. Out of the box one of the plants had 2 small blooms and the other had none. The one with none looked weak and frail. Granted it has been only a month so maybe I will have to update this review. I do have a black thumb but I followed all the advice about sunlight and proper planting. Disappointed so far but thinking positive thoughts.

Dead Rose Bush Delivered
I received a dead, completely crispy leafed, roots exposed, supposed Rose Bush. It shipped from N Carolina so no wonder. Tried to revive it but too far gone. Waste of money.

    Perfect
Prrfect confition… packed to ensure minimal danage, but definitely misshandled, even by Home Depot.

Beautuful blooms. Supposed to be pest /disease resistant, but half of the bushes have spots on and holes in the leaves. 7 bushes planted a month ago. Ordered half online. Disappointed not to receive the 1 gallon roses as ordered. Rather received 1/2 gallon roses, requiring physical trip to store and firm discussion with clerk to get the 1 gallon roses I paid for. Clerk was trying to turn me away.

      Great Rose Bush!
Bought two of these on a mail order (they looked sickly, but make sure you plant and water the roses immediately and they’ll spring up). They’ve quickly become the star of the show. No need to cut the old blooms, and within a week of planting them I’ve had ten roses on each non-stop!

          Disappointed Delivery
I ordered 2 of these red double knock out rose bushes along with 3 pink double knock out rose bushes as the pink were not available at the local store. While unpacking the bushes, I immediately noticed the red bushes were a quarter size of the pink bushes. Since they were all healthy, I properly planted them, and they are thriving in the new rose beds I created. I was disappointed by the size and noticed the local store had the red in the same size as the pink that were delivered.

It looks nothing like pictures and leaves falling off. Looks like it is dying! I am so disappointed!

They arrived early! I was very happy the landscaper was available to get them in the ground within a hour of delivery. Packaging was excellent to protect them in transport. They were in good condition and are thriving. Thank you.

              Better to Purchase in Person
Last year I purchased three double knockout roses from Home Depot. One I picked out myself at the store and two were ordered online. The one I picked out myself is the one that has always done the best. This year I ordered four roses online and to say they look sad is an understatement. One looks good, one is fair, two will probably die. I will only buy in person from now on. Lesson learned.

Love these roses. Bought another one this year.
So happy with these roses. I bought in store last year, once I moved them to a bigger container they bloomed all last summer. Survived winter in zone 7b (on a windy exposed balcony) and bloomed this year full of flowers. Very happy with these that I got a smaller one this year also from Home Depot.

                  Small Bush
I admit i blame myself, if I had waited a few days I could have gotten a lot larger bush, exactly the same right from HD. One that already had flowers on it. This bush is very small, no flowers, no buds. It was alive when I received it which is a plus, finally has a bud on it read to bloom finally. For me, I won’t do this again however.

Knocked out by these Double Knock Out Roses
Arrived on the projected date. Healthy, loaded with buds and fully blooming a week after planting. I couldn't be happier with the experience.

                      Just planted and already blooming!
Arrived in excellent shape and on time. Easy to plant and doing extremely well which is not always the case since we are in climate zone 9 in the mountains of Southern California. Looking forward to them getting 4 ft tall!

                      Sad looking plants
I bought 4 of these “Knock out roses”, 2 in 2 gallon container and 2 in 3 gallon. First off the 3 gallon plants are smaller than the 2 gallon. All have yellow leaves and weak stems. These 4 plants cost me almost $200. The root systems are non-existant. They were not grown in these pots for sure. Going back

I ordered this bush early in the season, it was very small & base trunk was loose in soil. Easily blown around, had to put stake to hold upright. 4 weeks later doing great. Blooming

                        Surprisingly nice!
I was sceptical about ordering these online but no one had any locally. As you can see by the pics, they arrived in perfect condition. They have the packaging down to a science. The plants don't move at all and the soil stays in place.

                          Superb Conversation Starter!!
My neighbor had suggested placing a rosebush by my mailbox, but I’ve never had good luck with roses in the past. Yet something still encouraged me to try it, and I had read about the Double Knock Outs so 3 years ago I got one at Home Depot nearby. It is absolutely the most lovely plant in my yard. It is truly stunning and so easy. I make sure to give the area water during these drought times, and it rewards me with beautiful blooms and happily overpowers anything else in my mailbox garden. Often people will stop to ask me about it when I’m in the yard. It is worth the effort of digging a hole to accommodate its sweet roots. I highly recommend it - and got another one for my lamppost garden, which is delightfully gorgeous also. I may get a couple more for a side garden to enable it to start to become a No Toil garden.

Worst Purchase Ever. Not worth $26.00 when they look sickly
Plants had spotted leaves yellow/brown/ holes from insects. Returned in store. Not worth $26.00 This review has been rejected at least 5 times by home depot. They are stating that this was a shipping issue. Plants don't get holes/spotted leaves/yellow/brown leaves in that short of a time.

I needed to send a gift to a wedding that I couldn't attend so ordered through Home Depot. I chose a red rose plant from Baucoms Nursery. The plant was delivered in good healthy condition. It is the chosen color and the bush has good shape. It is small (2 gal) so isn't very showy right now (one bloom on plant). It was planted in a place of honor and will grow to bloom man times in the future.

I've always had a love-hate relationship with roses, and learned the hard way how difficult they can be to grow. The lovely tea roses that highlight catalogues from a number of growers require a lot of attention, and are highly susceptible to disease. It had been years since I planted my last rose bushes, in spite of my love for them, but then I read an article on hardy, easy care roses and decided to give them another try. The top recommendation was for the original Knock Out rose, but it seemed rather plain. However, when I saw this new variety, a Knock Out Double Rose Plant, I decided to give it a try. The plants arrived in individual boxes, in a pot vary similar to the one pictured on the site. Mine had buds rather than blooms, but the plants appeared to be healthy and well-packaged. They had healthy root systems and took very nicely to planting. This is my first time planting roses in containers, as I now live in a high-rise building. They're in individual, large planters with plenty of room to grow and with superb drainage and ample sunshine, both of which are essential for roses. So far, both plants are doing quite well and I look forward to years of beautiful blooms.
