Customer Reviews for KOHLER Archer Drop-In Vitreous China Bathroom Sink in White with Overflow Drain

We purchased this sink in Dec 2020 and the installer had to rout away a portion of the countertop to make the sink sit flat, a manufacturing defects verified by placing a level on the countertop. Also, the sink drain has developed rust stains around the outside of it and you cannot remove the stopper to clean the drain itself without disassembling the flimsy connecting parts under the sink. This sink does not match the quality of our other Kohler products.

Like others have stated having one of shipped is dicey mine arrived smashed, the sink is casually just thrown into a cardboard box with no padding whatsoever.This is going back and the next one I'll be picking up instore.

Purchase arrived broken, which isn't really a Home Depot problem. However, I can't understand why box had no foam/packaging/bubble wrap to guard against breakage. Also, why wouldn't the box have a fragile symbol to keep someone from dropping it. Called the Home Depot 800 number and was told that there weren't any replacement sinks in stock. Website it says there are 28. A friend told me I should just order 2 and plan to return one since arriving broken seems to be a common review comment.

We were remodeling our cabin master bath and I'm so glad we picked this sink- great quality, design and cost. We had an old pink sink that this one replaced and the dimensions listed online were spot on to make sure this new one would work.

Used to replace rusted 1970s tile-in sink in our bathroom. This was the only sink with a large enough footprint to fit the opening left by the old sink. Will buy again for second bathroom.

I could see what 1 reviewer was talking about how it was slightly uneven. However when our contractor applied caulking the minor imperfection was not detectable. If it is that bothersome, then I would not recommend the sink. In our case, we think it is a beautiful upgrade.

I didnt realize how common this problem was until mine was checked just before installation. I bought this sink for two reasons, the color matches our Kohler toilet and the size fit the opening left by the old (pink) sink. This was the only sink in this price range that was big enough. The installer pointed out that the front edge was warped in the manufacturing process and the counter top had to be routed out to allow the sink to fit flush with a minimum of silicone around the edges. Kohler used to be known for quality but a simple straight edge check would prevent a host of problems at the time of installation. Once the old sink is out and the plumbing is disconnected and you find you have a defective sink, your options are limited to the skills of your installer to make it right. I would like a $50 refund for the extra time my installer had to spend to cut out the countertop to make this fit. He also had to modify the mechanism for closing the sink stopper to make that work.

Love these sinks, great finish, excellent depth and width. Great looking. replaced 19" drop in, oval enameled steel sinks, and it does require cutting out the counter w/included pattern to fit. The drain alignment will likely be different so don't forget an S-trap drain kit.

Love this sink- the wide rim allows for soap, toothbrush or other items that a wet to sit nicely without getting on counter/vanity. Unfortunately, the sink cracked and we are trying to contact Kohler/Home Depot to get that remedied. I’ll update my rating once we hear something.

This is a nice sink looks great but would not set flat it would rock when set it in and had brand new onyx top almost returned it I just live to far away

Sits beautifully on counter! . Use caulking glue to install . Great finish!

Great sink and was overall happy with the quality and the final installed product. Installing this sink was a challenge because the old sink that I removed was smaller so had to cut the countertop. Also the distance from the drain plunger to the pivot ball rod is longer than normal.

Beautiful color. Great depth as our previous oval sink constantly splashed outside the basin. Easy and straight forward to install. Matched with a single hole Kohler oil rubbed bronze modern faucet, it looks stunning on our granite tile counter.

Hard cut out/ large cut out required ... but great quality and the best depth and width available let for bath sink. CantC beatbthe price at $100 ... Used several or these sinks on different residential remodels and they always look andafunction great! My customers love them usually and have commented on the more elegant upscale feel and look of sink. Usually install over quartz countertops with no problems(both 2cm and 3cm thick quartz).

We did not realize how big this sink is till it came in, they did not have one in the store, it is HUGE. we were able to get it in the vanity of the bathrooms and it looks good. It was easy to install and is well made.
