This is the worst toilet seat ever!!! I had this seat for maybe a year or less and it's already broken....no way to fix, so upset. Had my old seat forever, lasted for 15 years... This new seat, really isn't worth the money....but I have no choice to order another because of the color.... Kohler, what happened to your excellent craftsmanship??

The seat was extremely easy to install and went on in less than 5 minutes. I absolutely love the "no slam" lid no more accidental drops. I must admit this is my second purchase of the same toilet seat. I replaced the master bath seat a few months ago with the same product.

I'v had the seat about a month now. we love it. the quiet close is fantastic. the seat is comfortable. the grip bumpers really help to keep it in place. the quick on and off seat release is great for cleaning. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

This Kohler seat didn't make it one year for a non-obese adult couple. The plastic quick-remove system keeps loosening and finally, the plastic threads stripped and wouldn't tighten anymore. Thank you Home Depot for the store credit. I purchased the competitor brand with a quality hinge system.

The product would have received 5 stars but it arrived with a broken piece. Now I am left responsible to find out if Home Depot or Koehler will replace the piece. If I get a replacement piece without a lot of hassle than I would give a better review.

4634-K4 Cashmere color toliet seat to match toliet, I purchase for my husband to have quiet close seat, finally after a few weeks after receiving it, husband finallly put on toliet seat and it was crooked, not at all a perfect toliet seat, it hangs over the edge and do not cover up the toliet rim, finding my receipt and sending back!

Very easy to install. I like how it locks in to keep it in place. I'd probably give it a 5 but I haven't test its performance ;)

This is an excellent plastic toilet seat. It has four bumpers which help distribute weight. It does not have the feel of a wooden seat, but it also does not have the problems associated with wooden seats. The quiet close feature is great, but takes a little getting use to. It fits well and looks great!

I bought 1 to make sure the color matched the toilet and to see how easy it was to install. The color matched perfectly and it was very easy to install. It was very study and performed as promised. My wife liked it so much I ordered 2 for the other toilets. Happy wife happy life.

This item was special-ordered and shipped directly to my residence after I returned the pure white model to the store because it did mot match my toilet. The proper match was "biscuit'" Kohler's warmer, off-white color. The store did not stock the seat in biscuit, so they set up a special order. Store service regarding the special order was excellent! Pricing was a bit high, but not unreasonable, considering the free shipping. The product arrived in short order. It is well made, easy to install, and functions/fits well. BUT, I have one concern: "biscuit" is in the white range, but it is not white. However, the biscuit-colored seat has the pure-white, very visible hinge/mounting assembly! I do not understand why Kohler would mismatch the color of the hinge assembly with the seat. For this reason alone, I cannot recommend the product.

Installed this unit about two years ago and it had been a good seat for taking care of business. About 6 months ago cracks began to appear on the underside of the seat. It's still hanging int there but the cracks are growing and it's just a matter of time before the seat fails. We're of average height and slender, so it's not due to excessive loads. Of course Kohler stands behind the product for one year. Plan on it lasting just about that. I shared my experience with Kohler through their website but to date, I have heard nothing back.

Many people have seats that crack after just a couple years of use and just outside the warranty period. Check out the Reddit posts on this. Avoid buying Kohler seats!

I bought this 3 months ago specifically because of side to side restricted movement. It was easily fitted by following the enclosed instructions and sideways movement was restricted but it didn’t last. As time went by, one of the seat hinge covers would lift off occasionally allowing the hinge to unlock and the seat assembly to slip off of the toilet. Even after checking the tightness of the hinge mounting screws and refitting the hinge covers, the hinge covers still come off and allow the seat to move. The mounting screws have not loosened, they can’t be tightened more because it would cause distortion of the mounting clips and not allow the locking covers to fit. Long story short …. sideways seat movement is restricted but is unreliable because of hinge locking failures.

Purchased a Kohler seat to match Kohler tank/toilet about 4 years ago. No problems with quiet close, no problems with cracks, but the seat is turning yellow/brown. It started slowly, but discolouration has accelerated to the point that it looks like it's never been cleaned. It is also showing some pitting. There is no sunlight hitting the seat. Perhaps there are cleaners that should be avoided? We've been using Mr. Clean disinfectant, perhaps this doesn't get along will Kohler's plastic?
