I was looking for a replacement shower head in my guest bathroom and ordered this product. The finish of this product looks great. I was a little surprised that it was mostly plastic and not heavier metal. Installation was a snap. Just use a little bit of Teflon tape and twist. I had no issues with leaking or water flow. I would recommended that if your shower arm flange is corroded go ahead and buy a new one when you purchase the shower head because the arm is sold separately.

I installed this shower head one or two months ago, replacing a "raining" shower head that I never loved, and gradually lost any decent water pressure over the last year. This shower head was among the least expensive in the store, but it installed literally in minutes and has been great. I didn't even need a wrench - just hand-tightened with work gloves. No leaks or drips, excellent pressure, looks good. No complaints at all.

Shower head works well. Very easy to install. I would recommend this produce to family and friends.

This shower head was very easy to install, if you can change a light bulb you should be able to install it. It looks very high end and has many adjustments that allow for many different spray patterns. It has a larger diameter head than your typical showerhead. it's another fine product from Kohler. It isn't made of plastic like most showerheads on the market.

We do a lot of remodeling work, and this Kohler shower head installed easily, and made a significant impact on the performance and look of the shower (see the attached photo). In addition, it is easy to adjust with a small lever on the front; you can select 5 different spray patterns ranging from gentle rainfall to a pulsing stream. Our client was very pleased. Highly recommended. A couple of tips for installation: (1) Use teflon plumber's thread sealant for the connection, instead of teflon tape -- which often leads to leaks. This product fails the reputation of the Kohler brand in several ways: 1.) The shower head holder does not grip the head - it remains loose so that the water pressure or hose tends to let the shower head swivel in its base. This lets the water aim not where you want it to go - SO frustrating - what a poor design! 2.) The plastic construction of the head stay and sealing mechanisms are very old school and prone to loosening over time and then spraying water out - doubly bad as you are constantly adjusting and fiddling with the shower head to get it aimed where you want it. 3.) The off position of the shower head leaks a LOT. 4.) There is no way to adjust the amount of water that you use - It says its a water saving design, but it has a lot of flow with no way to regulate it. My recommendation would be to look at another product as this one isn't worth the price premium Kohler seems to think its worth.

Being a Kohler product, I was thinking it would be high quality metal, but it is chrome plated plastic. Now there's nothing wrong with plastic, it's very light weight, which may be a benefit if you don't want a heavy metal showerhead. However it does not have that solid, precise feel of metal. Depsite my high (over 90 psi) water pressure, the stream is not forceful, but it is comfortable (not needle-like) and does a good job of rinsing soap. The spray pattern is a bit narrow for my tastes, and with a diameter of only 4 inches, it doesn't cover a lot of area. I think it is 'ok' for a showerhead, and despite being plastic, it is probably one of the better qualtiy plastic ones out there.

Good product for the price point. Functions well without any compromise in water pressure. Installation was easy, I put this in the kids'/guest bathroom ... the 5 different water spray settings are sufficient for most people's tastes and preferences. I wasn't overly impressed by all the silver colored plastic. It just makes it seem a bit cheap to me and like it could crack and break over time. I would have preferred metal of course, but then that would probably make it more expensive as well. Just my opinion.

I installed this showerhead for my daughter because her old one was spraying everywhere it should not. This Kohler piece is beautiful. The chrome is flawless. It looks as if it should weigh five pounds, but it's actually light. The Kohler adjusts to provide a variety of sprays from a mere trickle to a drenching spay with good pressure. Installation is easy. The hardest thing was removing the old teflon tape before applying the new teflon tape. I wrapped some electrician's tape around the jaws of my channel lock pliers so I wouldn't scar the finish on the Kohler. It looks so nice that my wife wanted to keep it. My daughter says the Kohler showerhead is "amazinGGGG."

This shower head is good if you live where there is city water supply at a good pressure, as I live where I have a well that operates at a lower pressure. I was disappointed to find out it was made of plastic. An even bigger one was that it was made in CHINA and that will tell you how long it will last. I can not recommend a product that misleads you with an American brand name that was always has been associated with a high degree of quality.

The Kohler Radiate five (that's 5!) spray chrome shower head is now my favorite. For one, it's design is beautiful, but the real desirability is in the way it works. The lever adjustment control on the side is easy to use and is smooth to operate. The five adjustments allow for any spray pattern and water intensity that you or your body calls form from a soft rain like spray to an intense massage spray that works on tired muscles. I do not regret installing this excellent shower head.

The showerhead is well packaged and easy to unpack. It's easy to install (the manufacturer might have included thread sealing tape) and simple to operate. The five sprays are all useful. It feels like it is manufactured out of plastics, the chrome finish is very reflective. The showerhead includes a limited swivel capacity so you can adjust where the spray lands. Perhaps I did not tighten it down sufficiently, but the showerhead was unthreading when I adjusting the spray settings -- the internal resistance was greater than the resistance to unthread from the showerhead stem.

This shower head is one of the best that I have ever had. It has five different spray patterns so you have a choice when showering. The shower head was very easy to install and no tools required. The master clean nozzles system is great and Kohler has a life time warranty on the shower head. Kohler has always offered the highest quality products. This is the best .

This showerhead is nice looking with a chrome finish and black rubber nozzles. It looks like it is metal, but it is plastic. It isn't very heavy. The instructions tell you that you need Teflon tape around the rod before attaching the showerhead. It does have the rubber gasket with a screen to filter debris so that the rubber nozzles don't clog. You just rub the nozzles while the water is running to dislodge any particles from the nozzles. In order to clean the screen washer you will need to remove the showerhead, if it needs it. The instructions are kind of skimpy, but it is easy to install. It is guaranteed to be drip free and leak free with a lifetime limited warranty. With the five settings it gives you plenty of spray types.

This shower head has to have very high water pressure to work. The Shower head has 5 different cycles to have the water come out. With low water pressure only 4 work. We had a water leak down the road from us making us have low pressure. As soon as it was fixed the shower head worked pretty good. The shower head itself is pretty large and can cover a large space. It doesn't have a massage cycle, just different ways for the water to come out which is nice.

While there is no mention of metal in Kohler's description, there's also only about an ounce in this thin plastic showerhead. The price suggests more than what you'd find in a dollar store. That said, on first use, the selector indexes well; the fine spray is very fine and seems unusual, but then saturn's ring seems unusual, I don't necessarily have use for it in my shower. This is where you really feel the loss of .5 gal/min The inner water channel and possibly ball joint seem to be stainless; everything else is plastic, including the socket. Multiple member households probably can look forward to getting a brand new one with some frequency. Three stars because it is everything they say it is. Only the price and "Kohler" are misleading.
