Great sink but shows a LOT of scratches..
Love the look of this sink, however the scratches that show are not cute!!! If you are looking for something that is nice to look at, beware that scratches will appear and are very hard to remove!

Fortunately we check the sink before we left the store. The porcelain on the front apron was defective. There were ripples in the surface that I could feel and see. Very poor quality control for such an expensive sink. Quality control must have been on vacation that day.

Due to the nature of enameled cast iron, there is a measure of rippling or waviness to vertical walls as gravity pulls the enamel down during melting in the furnace. Horizontal surfaces melt smooth. Lots of room!
We have been enjoying our new sink for a couple months now. No more splashing out. No more pans that won’t fit! We love it!

Enamel coating coming off after 1 1/2 yrs
This is my second whitehaven kohler kitchen sink. The first sink I purchased 6 years ago and not a single issue, it’s beautiful! Second sink I purchased nov 2019 and installed feb 2020. With gentle cleaning the shiny coating is coming off and the underneath is getting scratched from normal wear. We are very gentle with this sink. I’m so disappointed as it’s my favorite part of the kitchen. What has happened with manufacturing?

I wouldn't
I've had this sink for a few years, and it is a mess. The sink surface is mottled and uneven. It stains and gets marked easily. Just not worth it. Now that I have it, I would have to get the stone counter removed and re-installed if I want something different.

Had to order three times to get one not blemished. 3rd one was a charm, love the sink just wished better QC before leaving manufacture. I suggest checking at the store before you luf this monster home.
