This is a nice towel bar. Easy install using the template. No backplate; you install it with screws into the flange. I used the included molly screws and got a solid mount. Upgrade to this towel bar - you’re worth it.

We assumed that the towel bar was 24" total. ...
We assumed that the towel bar was 24" total. It was 24" without the mounting flanges, so it didn't fit.

The length measurements given are from the center of the left attachment to the center of the right. We offer five grab bars at an 18" length. it was super easy to install! I chucked the anchors it came with and used the ZIP anchors instead...
it was super easy to install! I chucked the anchors it came with and used the ZIP anchors instead. it took longer to move my tools around than it did to install this towel bar.

Very good towel bar. The template of the screw location could use improvement, does not line up exactly on wall. Flimsy cardboard and hard to get steady against wall. I would definitely recommend the bar. Love Kohler products

I was looking for something specific where I can screw...
I was looking for something specific where I can screw the holders directly into the drywall and not have to mess with allen wrenches. I was happy to find this one as there are not many of those types out there and this one was of good quality and matched my bath hardware already. I couldn't be happier.

It is very good. I removed previous type of hand rail and use this one. I had one earlier to try...
It is very good. I removed previous type of hand rail and use this one.
I had one earlier to try on then decide to remove other brand before tile the whole bath room.
Reason is the feature that it is screwed to the base. Not small pin screw hold rail to the base.
It is hard to come loose since it is not tight to base with small pin screw.
