Used it to seal the flashing around my chimney. ...
Used it to seal the flashing around my chimney. Easy to apply, but you do need to use a spackle knife or similar to do so. I suggest you don't do it while the sun is brightly shining on the area you are sealing. A cloudy (not rainy) day may be best or when sun is not directly hitting the area.

The product failed to cure after 48 hours resulting in a meltdown and flowing through the buildin...
The product failed to cure after 48 hours resulting in a meltdown and flowing through the building then finally finding a resting spot in an air conditioner unit. There were no instructions on curing time on the can so I had to you tube it and still not much help.

KARNAK 19 Flashing Cement or KARNAK 19 Ultra Rubberized Flashing Cement begins to skin-over after application. Depending on the outside temperature and the thickness of the application, full curing(Drying) can take from a few weeks to months.

Sorry to hear you have not experienced the results you anticipated. A few things to check would be to make sure the substrate is securely attached, the surface is clean and free of loose sealants and coating and that fabric reinforcement was used with the flashing cement.
