[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shipping box was large & very heavy, I took opened it on the doorstep and took to the garage in pieces. There was a lot of gritty dust on all of the packing and pieces, like sands, so you can't open it indoors. I assembled the top and bottom and the latch system in the garage so I wouldnt lose any screws. I recommend using power screwdriver/drill as there are a lot of big screws, they go in easy but it would be hard on the hands. When the major parts were ready I took it out to the yard and we assembled it easily. You need a second person to help hold panels in place. A lot of it is interlocking but needs tome muscle to push into place. Took 1.5hr in the garage then 1hr in the yard, so 2.5hr of unhurried, instruction-studying building. All parts were clearly labelled except the doors (and it just took some study to make sure they were the right way round). The instructions are similar to Ikea, all illustrations no words, looks intimidating but one step at a time and was fine. Closing the lid you need to make sure everything is lined up correctly. I padlock the lid, it has rained but seems to stay dry inside. Note it is NOT big enough for adult bike(s). We had a large kids bike and even that had to have the wheels angled and some working to get it in. Would not hold an adult bike. I will probably store the lawnmower, weedwhacker etc in there instead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Keter shed is AMAZING!!! It blew our expectations out of the water. It took my husband about 3 hours to put together and he was impressed with directions. They were easy to understand with very clear illustrations that matched every piece included. The quality of the shed is by far the best on the market. Once you open the box you can tell that this Keter shed is durable and a high quality product. The engineering and design of the shed is genius. There’s an option to build a shelf that we are holding off on adding. We toyed with using this for garbage/recycling bins because they even include chains/hooks to attach the lids to the top of the shed. I’m also in love with the color of the shed. It’s a perfect match to our house and deck. The texture of the material they used for the shed is something I’ve never seen and love as well. I can’t express enough just how happy and in love we are with our shed! Just having the lawn mower in there opens up our garage and we still have room for plenty more in the shed!! We are looking forward to using this shed for a very, very long time!!

I experienced the same quality issues a lot of other reviewers experienced. Luckily it was on the very first step so I didn’t have too much time invested. The very first part (esMF) holes did not match up with the base. Not sure if the base is off or the part. Customer service was reachable (on Thanksgiving) but the part would take weeks to arrive and there’s no guarantee it is the problem, ot there aren’t more problems as I go. This is getting returned as soon as the store opens tomorrow.

The roof leaks at the seam -- it should have been designed with some type of overlap to ensure that water can't get in. To avoid returning it, I'm going to have to come up with a 3rd party solution to address this problem.

I have purchased 4 of these, Pieces don’t fit, unfortunately the material has seemed to shift almost immediately. Its completely off and does not even close properly, the sheds started to fall apart right after I put it together. The middle has opening and will let dust get in there and most importantly the lid has warped after a few days in use. Lid will not latch on the right front corner. See my pictures for ease of reference. I have called many times and send e mail to keter and all I have received is a case number along with a case number and basically nothing, So disappointed in this product.

This is the perfect secure storage shed for our large portable generator. Assembly was easy and everything fit. The instructions were clear and every part was well identified. When we need to use the generator it will be easy to roll out of the shed and hook up to the adjacent propane and electrical connections.

Easy to put together and very roomy. I like the latch top and the ability to open the doors for access. Appears to be durable. The panels are stated to be paintable and they appear that they would take paint well -- I would recommend a spray paint due to the texture.

It took me about 3 hours to put together, but don't be put off by that. The graphical instructions were truly excellent. As a Mechanical Engineer, I tend to look at products differently than most folks. In my opinion, it is very well constructed & packaged. The Israelis did a masterful job of injection-molding the top and bottom panels! About my only wish is that those same panels were a tad thicker. They flex rather easily and that means you MUST have a nice, flat, even surface to position it on. (I prepared a pad of pavers for it to sit on).If it rests on an uneven base, the panels will flex and the doors won't close properly.

I bought this unit 1 year ago to store pool chemicals on the patio. I liked that it was vented and that it didn't have the typical plastic box storage container look to it. The sides seemed pretty sturdy, but the top was a problem from day one. The roof panel never seemed to fit properly as one side was slightly higher than the other for no apparent reason. The roof panel then began to sag in the middle and the hinges started to bind to where the roof had to be very gently lowered and wiggled to get the hinges to not line up properly when closing the roof. I contacted Keter over 2 months ago in an attempt to get some replacement parts in the hopes of fixing the roof panel. I both called and emailed them and was fully willing to pay for the parts if they were no longer under warranty as I just wanted to fix the storage box and make it work. After 2 months of getting nowhere with Keter, I just gave up. I was tired of fighting with the roof panel every time I had to close it and I didn't want to deal with it anymore, so I disassembled the box and put it in the trash last week. I bought a different storage shed from a different manufacturer as a replacement. The storage shed had a decent design and had a lot of promise, but the poor roof and hinge design is a problem. If you need to get customer service from Keter, you have my sympathies. I would pass on any Keter products from now on simply based on the ridiculous lack of customer service.

I tried to put this together multiple ways; how it has it in the instructions, reverse engineering it from just one direction and last by taking off the beginning posts just to see if I could eek out some extra room. By the time I tried putting on the plastic cap, the siding has popped out of the bottom track about 1 1/2 inches so the cap will never fit. The rear corner pieces are so misshapen. I don't know which piece is longer or if it is multiple pieces but this is beyond frustration and I would say that I'm extremely capable of putting things together even if it takes improvising a little.

Had it for less than 6 months and already falling apart. Should have known plastic wouldn’t be worth it!

I was so excited when I found this shed online as it was a grey color versus the usual brown/tan colors and would blend well with my siding as well as it being the perfect size for the items I needed to store. Despite there being several pages of instructions and lots of screws, I was able to put this together by myself with no major issues until....I tried to close the doors and bring the cover down to latch. Unfortunately, when I tried to close the doors, the left door did not line up vertically in the middle. The gap at the bottom appears to be as it was designed but then the gap grows increasingly as you get to the top of the doors. This then causes the lock systems not to line up and the lid to not close properly. It appears that the left side is racked to the left somehow. When you go to close the door, you have to slightly lift the corner in order for it to get onto the base. I spoke with customer service and through me sending them multiple pictures of the situation, their Engineering Department determined that it was an issue with the left door and that an order was placed for all of the left door parts. Well that order was in mid-October and it is end of January and the parts have still not all arrived. I received a partial shipment and spent the time to take apart and install to find out there were still issues. At this point (beginning of November) when I called their customer support group, that was when they told me that I hadn't received all the parts I needed as they were being shipped from Israel and hadn't left yet. They could not provide me with an anticipated delivery date. I will admit that their customer service representative that I spoke to numerous times was very friendly and tried to help out as best she could, including trying to work with Home Depot to have the shed picked up. However, that was a disaster for another reason not related to the product. I tried to ask them to take these parts from the same shed here in the US and mail to me but I was told that wasn't possible, I would have to wait for the replacement parts to arrive if I wanted to continue with this path. As stated it is now more than 3 months from the ordering of the parts and Keter is still unable to tell me when the parts will arrive. It appears to be a good product if it shut properly. I just warn you that if it doesn't fit together properly, take right back to where you bought it and not try to get replacement parts. That part is the major downfall with this product. I can't decide if I would recommend the product or not. If I didn't have to put together and could see that it opened and closed properly then yes I would recommend it but having to take the time to put together, find issues, and then have to wait over 3 months, I would not recommend the effort.

Easy to assyemble..strong sturdy...looking forward to buying the keter 11 x 7 shed

I was excited for this shed due to the slightly different design with the sloped roof / lid, optional shelving, and the fact that the roof lifts up. This isn't my first Keter project, so going into it I knew there were going to be tons of screws. Everything is clearly labeled and the instructions are adequate. Took me about an hour to put it together by myself. No issues there. Unit feels pretty sturdy with the lid closed. Unfortunately, the roof is slightly bowed, which causes 2 problems: the doors don't close evenly (larger gap at the top) and the the 2 side latches that are meant to hold the roof down do not properly latch - you have to press down on them pretty hard in order for them to grab. With the roof part open, the doors line up just fine. I'm hoping that the addition of a top shelf will help keep the sides together, but that really shouldn't be necessary. On the plus side, the shed kept everything inside dry after days of massive rain, even with the slight door gap. I had sacks of concrete stored in there at the time and they were nice and dry when opened. The sloped roof is great by the way - water does not pool up there at all! Water did not ingress via the vents either. Not a bad product, just watch out for that bowed roof issue.

Very solid storage shed! Set aside two to three hours for assembly, and you will have yourself a very nice storage shed that will fit a couple of good-sized trash barrels and some smaller items or perhaps the lawn mower and other garden supplies/tools. The pros of this shed: - it is heavy duty plastic so no worries of rust or painting; very nice grey walls! - Its walls are paintable (according to the instructions) if you really want it to match something else - Its walls are really solid, so once you screw the panels in place you can move it around with a dolly - It has a solid floor so whatever you put in it will be protected from the ground - The instructions are excellent – all diagrams are very helpful - They even include hardware and descriptions on how to add an interior shelf and how to secure the top lid with short chains so it does not blow open too far and damage the pistons/hinges for the top - While the instructions state it is a two-person project, I found that I could do everything but the top hinges by myself so don‘t be put off by that caution in the instructions – just take your time - It has a hasp built-in for locking the top lid and doors – nice feature! - Plenty of extra screws and such so no worries on having all the parts - Parts labeling was about the best I have seen in my many years of putting things together as a homeowner! The only tough part for me: the hinges were a bit difficult to align so I would advise taking your time with the hinges and test fit them before you ”go final” on screwing them in place So, the “pros” far outweigh my single cautionary note on the door hinges! I highly recommend this storage shed to anyone needing a shed for trash barrels or similar size storage needs!

This resin storage shed appears to be very sturdy and it has some good features: --The walls are reinforced panels for added strength --The panels have a rough texture, making it easy to paint if desired --All hardware is provided for assembling, including pistons for the lid --It has built-in vents on the sides --The floor is one piece and can be bolted to a foundation --It is lockable with a lock (purchased separately) --It comes with a bin-opening kit that will also open a trash can when the lid is opened --The shed will support the addition of shelves inside that measure 52.4" x 12" x 1.5" (with a maximum weight of 55 lbs. per shelf) I will be installing at least one shelf to hold the sides together better --No maintenance is required other than applying some lubricant on the pistons for smoother operation The things I did not like are: --instructions without explanations --The screws are not going to last too long when they are screwed into a thin piece of plastic. I would like to have seen some reinforcements where the screws are located. --The doors should have been a little wider, as I have at least a .25" gap on each side. I double-checked all steps but it just won't close the gap. I placed some weather stripping along the door because too much rain water was getting inside and there are no drain holes for water to escape. This storage shed arrived safely packaged in a box measuring about 56" x 33.5" x 7.5". It comes with printed instructions that are only illustrations which have good details, but I would have liked to see some further explanations for some of the diagrams. The instructions state that 2 people are required to assemble this shed, but I had no helpers and was able to manage the assembly just fine - it just took a little longer. For the price, it is a good functional storage box.

This review is for the Keter ELITE-STORE RESIN HORIZONTAL STORAGE SHED This storage shed is 4.58 ft x 2.67 ft x 4.08 ft. Interior dimensions are 51.4" L x 26.0 " W x 46 " H storage capacity is 40 cu. ft. The weight is 81 lb and the coverage area is 12.22 sq ft. This took my husband an hour 1/2 to put the shed together but probably would be under an hour if two people were doing it. The directions were very easy to follow and very easy to understand. You should make sure to read all the directions before you start putting the shed together. My husband found that all the parts fit together very easily and correctly. And this made him very happy. The double wall panels are very durable and very sturdy and the lid is a very sturdy and strong plastic which is what you want. During the assembly you will be putting on metal parts that help to reinforce and strengthen the whole structure of the shed. My husband actually enjoyed putting this shed together very much, and found that there were 3 optional steps that are nice features. Option 1, to attach chains to the lid of the shed and two trash cans inside the shed so that when you lift the lid for the shed, the lids automatically opens on your trash cans This hardware comes with the shed. Option 2, to add two shelves inside the shed. The hardware to do this comes with the shed but you will have to buy wooden shelves. Option 3 to set and mount the shed too a wooden platform base. This is a very good looking shed and has duotech wall panels that are double wall reinforce. It has the hardware so that you can lock the two doors and the lid for security. And that is a plus. We are very happy and excited about getting this Elite_Store Storage shed, we are using this for extra storage for household items that take too much room in the house. Other uses would be to put your trash cans in, garden tools, lawnmower, generator and Christmas Decorations, pet supplies etc, so many uses for this wonderful Elite-Store Storage Shed by Keter. Thank You Keter, looking forward to seeing other products you come up with, in fact we are thinking of purchasing another one of these storage shed, that is how happy we are with it. In this size storage shed, this is a very good storage shed, to pick out, this is made durable and strong and the parts are easy to put together, and easy to follow directions., This is a high quality item and a very nice design.

I strongly suggest you do not buy this product. In fact, I am shocked Home Depot stocks it. The pre-drilled scew holes do not match up with the pieces intended to affix to it. The back panels are intended to have a connector slide into them but they are not designed to accept the connector piece - I had to improvise a solution. Its obvious this prodcut is produced in China because the instructions are ambigous at best and indepherible at worst. I had to assemble pieces and then dis-sassemble them to find the right way to get them to work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small and well made outdoor storage that we will be using to house our kiddos toys. It was pretty easy to put together but did take over two hours. It seems like it will really hold up over the winter and protect the items inside. Very excited to use it for years to come.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This shed was a beast to put together. Luckily we had plenty of time on our hands because we needed it. I wouldn't say this is the best shed I've ever seen but it's also not the worst. It gets the job done and that's all I can ask.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Husband was very excited to see this as he was trying to clean up the yard before Halloween. I helped him open the box and the instructions looked very straight forward. He put it together fairly easily, only complaining a couple of times that the holes for screws were not lining up correctly (which could easily have been user error, I've seen him assemble things before). IT is a very sturdy little box, easily opens and closes from all sides and we can store all of the patio accessories and kids toys in it, out of sight when not in use. I believe we may order a second, so we can use it for the trash cans. Love it!
