Rusted through a few metal ones over the years so decided to try this vinyl door. This door has some heft to it and came with zero documentation. I can see the stiles are wood filled and not solid vinyl. It's says that up to 1 inch can be trimmed from the sides but since it doesn't appear to be solid vinyl, I'd think that the wood filler would be visible if I did that. This was going to the back door so rather than trimming it to fit and risk exposing the wood filler, I kept the factory size and just built a simple frame to surface mount it to the existing door frame. I used a 3-pk. of spring loaded vinyl hinges and a lockable handle set. The joints are pretty rough where the rails connect so I filled all the joints with silicone. I screwed on an patterned aluminum sheet on the bottom half so our cat doesn't use it as a scratching door. I'm hoping it'll last.

Vinyl frame is very good, strong, attractive. Only dislike is backside of door has screen over vinyl sections. Would look better with vinyl covering cross sections.

This is a high quality screen door, it fit the opening between my brick molding perfectly without any trimming. I did buy the "Screen Tight" brand hinge kit, because they look better that metal hinges, I like it so much I have already ordered another one for my back porch

Ordered ship to store. Arrived faster than expected date given. Sturdy door out of box. Was able to cut with circular saw. Took 1 inch off top and bottom, door still sturdy afterwards. Attached with spring hinge kit bought separately. SI far no problems. Wish product was available in store. Otherwise pleased overall.

Door is quality construction and I had no issues installing it as a replacement for a similar door that was installed on our screen porch in 1999. This door appears to be better quality than the one we had before and one thing that I like is that the screen is one continuous piece that covers all openings in the door. Our previous one was separate pieces for the upper and lower. My only complaint is that my previous door was a true 32 x 80 and this one is slightly smaller so I had to be careful mounting it to make sure that it filled the opening. As others have mentioned, no hardware is included with the door.

I paid almost as much as the door costs to ship it to my house, but I'm glad I chose this screen door. It was relatively easy to install with standard hardware store hinges, latch, and closer. It's solidly built, and was shipped well packed. Once installed, it looks great on the house and lets a nice breeze though without the flies. Once it's back in stock, I'm going to buy a slightly narrower one for the back door and do the same setup!

After I installed the door it looked great but I guess the sun was to hot or something as the door has sagged to the point that it will not close because the bottom now hits the threshold. All of the joints have came loose and there is a gap at the top of each joint as the door continues to sag. I will probably purchase a sag brace and install it to get through the season.

The door looks great on my screened in porch. I had someone install it without any difficulty. I picked up the door at Home Depot after ordering it online and found them to be very helpful and professional. I have had this door about 1 month without any issues.

Nice looking, easy to install and fit perfect

Had purchased a door like this previous and it worked perfect and remained looking like knew many years later. I needed another for a similar reason and again was a great choice and was easy to install.

This door is so solid and good looking. When my friends come by they all comment about what a great door I have. I did put in a new white closer and a beautiful door handle and all together it makes a great statement. I am thrilled with it and so glad I bought it.

It looks good and is solid Virgin Vinyl. It's not hollow. Nice thing is the crossbar hits on the rump as it closes, so you don't get stretched screen after a while. It comes with self closing hinges and hardware. HINT* The self Closing Hinges squeak like my grandmas, I used a high quality cable lubricant on them, stopped the squeak immediately, no squeak for 2 months now.

The Home Depot website and even the item description leading to this survey says the screen door I ordered is "80 x 36". It isn't. The actual width is approximately 1/2" less than 36" which, though it may not sound like much, is wrong when your door opening demands a 36" wide door. Though the door appeared to be relatively well constructed, the hassle of picking it up and, worse, taking it back during these crazy times because the product description was wrong was beyond irritating. Why not put the exact dimensions on the website to avoid such preventable issues? It can't be that hard.

Meh, you get what you pay for. It's fine. It does the job and it's as good as you'd expect for the money.

It fell apart after three weeks

Attractive door but screen edges not evenly cut so disappointed with workmanship.

joints were poor , required some work to look presentable .would look for another brand next time

The door wasn’t square and the screen isn’t perfect. It has some runs, but not holes. There are some imperfections on the surface on close inspection. However, it is a door and looks good once installed. Measurements were accurate. It does what we want it to do. If it wasn’t a pandemic, we probably would have tried to exchange it.

The door was easy to install and met our expectations.
