[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Plan Ahead! if you're going to have toast with this toaster, PLAN AHEAD! It takes longer than any toaster I have ever experience in my 65 years. It is still new so I can't speak to durability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this item because it was a newer model of a previously owned toaster. Didn’t need anything fancy with a variety of toasting options. Well, toasting is uneven. The top of the slices are much darker than the bottoms on every setting. It’s a toaster and it fails to evenly toast bread. I do not recommend this item. It is not worth the cost. I expected much more from this “brand”. I was wrong. Don’t make the same mistake.

This toaster is a piece of junk. Burns one side on the lowest setting other side isn't even brown. If I could I would not give it any star at all.

Probably the last Kitchen Toaster we will Ever purchase again. Sorry twice dislike , Never Again thought it Would be the best , but not !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nicely made toaster. Large long slots that fit homemade bread. Just wish I could find a toaster that toasts both sides of the bread evenly. One side is always darker. And no, it’s not on bagel toast.

Even at the lowest setting my toast is too burned. I should be to warm my bread without toasting brown. For these results I consider this Kitchen Aid item overpriced and the brand name Kitchen Aid earns my disrespect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a Black & Decker toaster that didn't brown on both sides and didn't fit larger slices of bread, such as dark rye. This toaster does the same thing, and I have to turn the toast half way through toasting and cut bread in half. And it cost almost twice as much. Not impressed.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The toaster is perfect! Switched from a 4 slice, although simplistic does the bread perfectly and takes up little counter space. Nice too look at as well! Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Burns white bread on the lowest setting! With the dial turned to the lowest possible setting, the toaster burns white bread. I returned my first toaster, thinking it was broken, but the replacement toaster does the same thing. Wheat bread is fine. It is baffling that KitchenAid doesn't recognize the problem. I also wonder why you need a setting of 5 if even for wheat bread a setting of 3 makes the toast turn black and smokes up the kitchen!
