I bought this cooktop 2 months ago, there’s a couple of bubbles that popped up. No way to repair. I would not buy this cook top.

Within one year our cooktop double sided tape came undone and is now ruining the whole unit by coming up and detaching from itself, not the counter top. This seems to be a common issue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this cooktop in 2024. I like the position of the fan in the middle of the cooktop. It works great for both sides of the burners. The knobs are a bit hard to get used to with their position, but once you figure it out, it’s fine. I also like the top right burner feature, where you can adjust for the size you need. It is helpful when I have multiple pots going. The cooktop is easy to clean day to day and with the right cleaning solution specifically for glass cooktop it will sparkle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this for our new house build, it has a what looks to be a surface crack on the left front burner. There is also marks on that burner, and the right front burner that won’t come out. I am disappointed with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Couldn't be any more careful while cooking, and on second time using it we noticed scrapes where one of the pots had been located while cooking. If the glass is that prone to being marked, this cooktop will look like junk soon.

Purcased in Nov 2021; installed in Dec. 1) Konbs are wobbly and do not feel solid, KitchenAid said is normal 2) Glasstop is not flush to counter top but the floating look is ok 3) The downdraft filter is about an inch shorter than the exhause port. Apperently as engineered. Otherwise unit looks good and functional as expected. Two years later, glasstop is coming off from the right side, makig turing knobs difficult. It appears the glass top is held down by double side tape.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At first glance, it's gorgeous. Smooth black glass, extra workspace when not hot. Then, there are the issues: - Knobs are too large and difficult to clean around without removing. They take up too much space and I wish we had gone with another e-knob model. - Difficult to keep the surface scratch-free - Burners are too close to the edge. - Surface is difficult to keep clean. Must use non-alcohol-based cleaner and the special cleaner Kitchenaide recommends. - Burners heat up fast but take a long time to cool down. This is definitely a high-end piece for replacement or remodel, and it was very pricey. Looks great, works well, but requires full cleaning after using.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this appliance on June 2023, in October 2023 it was already broken. One side of the cooktop has lifted from the metal frame making the knobs hard to turn besides I am afraid it might explode at any time. I am very disappointed.

The overall product looks beautiful. Ive used it only 6 times and this morning my stove cracked half way down the middle. All the functions of the stove still works but this should not happen within 4 weeks of ownership. Highly disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A replacement stove top ! I put off replacing my broke stove too after our new home purchase. I wish I’d done it sooner. I love my new top, especially the down draft feature.

Hate that this is the only downdraft 30” cooktop I can find, let alone the price is absurd. $2k! The unit itself was easy to install myself. Only needed to cut the granite a bit more to fit. Knobs feel high end and it works.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation smooth. Very intuitive to use and heats up rapidly. Nice stainless features that match the rest of the appliances in the kitchen. What needs to be improved is to add stainless material on the short ends of the cooktop....there is no stainless material on the short ends and gives the cooktop an unfinished look when installed on a kitchen island (see photos). If it were installed near a wall, might look ok but on an island, no so much...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought the 30" electric cooktop with downdraft for our new granite countertop after reading the customers' reviews for replacing our Jennair 30" electric coiled cooktop. Admittedly, I was a bit nervous as I heard horror stories about challenges in keeping up the surface. I have to say I am quite pleased with the appearance, that it heats quickly and the noise reduction from the fan. Additionally, the Affresh for cooktop works perfectly.

Replaced a 16 year old KitchenAide 30" downdraft cooktop with this newer model. The stainless steel knobs are a nice upgrade from our older cooktop. The new model heats quickly and is easy to clean. The downdraft works great as well. Hoping for another 16 years of trouble free use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased this unit a few weeks ago to replace our aging JennAir and have been waiting for the new countertop and electrician. All installed now, and we truly enjoy cooking on this cooktop, and appreciate the temperature response. The downdraft exhaust is wonderful and works very well and is less noisy than the old unit. It is looks beautiful in our new countertop.

We installed this cooktop a week ago and love it. Burners heat quickly and are responsive. The fan is quieter and stronger than our previous Jenn-Aire. While the cooktop requires specific cleaners and procedures, nonetheless, it's relatively easy to clean -- easier than our ring burner Jenn-Aire and our high-end gas stove. User manual was extremely helpful.

We bought this unit for a kitchen remodel just recently completed. the unit will not sit universal down on the countertop and seal along the foam edge. Very disappointed considering the thousands of dollars spent on this kitchen remodel.

It cooks evenly, and the ultra low / ultra high settings are so useful. Exhaust is quiet and effective. The whole unit is super easy to clean, and it looks so classy.

I installed myself very easily. Wow! Amazed at how quickly it heats. As fast or maybe faster than gas. Burners are versatile and the blower has 3 settings. Very happy with this cooktop. It cleans up in a snap even boiled over food thats cooked onto the surface.

We just did a kitchen remodel and have purchased all new Kitchen Aid appliances. All is well besides this cook top. I have used it for a week now and there appears to be what looks to be BUBBLES under the glass. I boiled something else tonight and more bubbles! I’m scared to know what this thing will look like in a year. I have quality pots and pans and have looked up care instructions and I feel like I’ve done my part to keep this cook top looking nice so I am really disappointed.
